"Ylang Ylang and Jim and Tara were perfect. The four of us (two couples) were very happy with the villa and the location. So clean and they have thought of everything. We will be thinking of that view for a long time to come! Thanks again for a very memorable location"

"My wife and I stayed here for the second year in a row and it exceeded our expectations yet again. The property was spotless when we arrived and provide an escape away from any crowds, it was our own personal estate on top of a mountain! The grounds are gorgeous and extremely well maintained. We spent half of our time at the house grilling on the amazing back porch and the other half arguing over who got to use the outdoor shower. Pam provides everything you could need from beach towels to pots and pans or grilling supplies along with a fantastic array of Caribbean spices which was a great perk. I was also completely confident that if anything did go wrong with the property, Pam would be there in a flash to rectify it immediately, she really cares about her guests and wants to ensure you have a fantastic time.
I imagine some people might say," I need a private pool!" but there are beaches everywhere, you can get there in 10 minutes, and I didn't come to the Caribbean for a pool! We spent everyday at the beach but looked forward to coming back and falling asleep to the cool mountain breezes and seclusion away from everything. We have rented other properties on St. John and while all of them had great outdoor areas, Bay Grove stands out for the beautiful interior and the fact that it really feels like your own piece of paradise.
Needless to say I will be back as soon as I can and can't believe there is ever an opening in their calendar."

"The brutally cold northeast winter wore us down and the stress piled up at work. We arrived for our six-day stay at Cinnamon Bay Daydreams and found serenity in a clean, wonderfully laid out home with breathtaking views, supreme seclusion and unmistakable island character.
The pictures don't do justice to the quality of the wood and masonry construction, large bedrooms and updated bathrooms. It was just two of us on this trip but CBD would have offered plenty of space and privacy for two families or three couples with two separate, equally large master suites and large loft area. The open floor plan allows guests to move freely between the kitchen, living/dining area and the lanai. We especially enjoyed watching the sun rise over Tortola as we started a pot of coffee and cooked breakfast.
We took early morning hikes and full day excursions from CBDs central island location in Catherineberg. It's one of the islands most exclusive neighborhoods due to its location within the National Park boundary. We enjoyed the most restful sleep we could recall as nature played us a symphony of rustling treetops, crickets, tree frogs and other nocturnal creatures.
The world famous north shore beaches are your playground. You can walk down the hill to Cinnamon Bay or hop in the car for a 10 minute ride to Trunk or Maho (our favorite). One of our favorite activities was to put the top down on the Jeep and cruise the island. It's less than 15 minutes to either Coral Bay or Cruz Bay, with miles of hikes in between. The plantation ruins from bygone eras are everywhere and not to be missed.
We always made it back early to enjoy an evening cocktail on the lanai. The twilight view of the BVIs is best accompanied by a Cruzan on the rocks and an old pirate novel.
Not only would we rent this villa again, we would move there if life allowed us. You won't be disappointed.
One note- you cannot fully enjoy this location without renting a car. Soft top Jeeps are only available on STT but the cargo ferry was very easy."

This place rules! Best views on Saint John. Seriously.
"On our third trip to St. John we were lucky enough to stay at High House. Perched all the way atop a mountain, the house is perfectly nestled into a dense tropical forest setting. The house itself gives the impression of being sturdy and built with care. It is cantilevered out over a steep bank and has a wrap around porch that provides endless views to the surrounding hillsides, bays and adjacent islands.
High House is outfitted with anything and everything you would need for your stay. Though the house is off the grid in every way, it is by no means primitive. The power was stable, the showers were hot, the toilets capable of whatever you can throw at em and there is even Wi-Fi! There is ample cookware, a dishwasher, washer/dryer, stereo, tv and cable, plenty of towels and even a hot tub with colored disco lights (highly recommended after a day at the beach and especially awesome during rain storms).
In summary, this place is the best. A great value. Do not hesitate. We will be back next year."
