  • Perfect honeymoon getaway

"We stayed in Reef Bay Cottage for the latter part of our honeymoon and wish we had stayed here the entire time. The cottage was exactly as described and came with everything that we needed for our daily excursions (coolers, beach chairs, beach towels, bug spray, etc.). We were able to get some groceries upon our arrival so that I could make breakfast and also pack lunch before we headed out for the day. I even grilled dinner a couple of nights on the gas grill. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the condiments and coffee, tea, sugar, etc. We enjoyed our coffee on the patio every morning overlooking the waves crashing on Reef Bay. We spent the late afternoons with cocktails at the pool which overlooks the ocean - a great way to wind down after our adventures. Seng was the most accommodating host as well and really gave the trip that extra touch that will make us return in the future. I would recommend having a rental car since it is a little off the beaten path - very secluded which is what we wanted on our honeymoon. It is only about a 10-15 minute drive into town for all the bars, restaurants, and shopping. One of the unique aspects of St. John is driving the winding hilly roads - absolutely amazing scenery and vistas throughout the island. Already looking forward to our next St. John trip!!!"

  • Open, airy, totally lovely!

"Our group of 9 spent 10 days at Callaloo. Many of us have stayed in several other houses on St. John so we have come to expect glorious views, breezy porches and bumpy roads. Callaloo has all this and more. The most striking feature of Callaloo is the open air aspect. We had the delightful sense that, even when "indoors," we were somehow outside. The site is wonderfully landscaped, adding to both the lovely outdoor feeling as well as the privacy of Callaloo. (I have to say I especially loved the 3 walled bathroom of Moonlight Cottage!). The cottage type set-up was great for our large group and length of stay. We could separate by going to our own area or get together in the common areas. Both the living room and the dining table were just the right size for 9. With a group as large as ours, having 4 bathrooms was definitely a plus. All the rooms were clean and pleasant, furnishings including beds completely comfortable. We have never felt the need for a pool while in St. John so I didn't expect to use the one at Callaloo but our two boys really liked it and did use it several times. We had no prior experience cooking in an outdoor brick oven, so we were surprised by how much we enjoyed the experience! We cooked a roast of beef, pork roast and turkey; all the meats came out delicious, moist and with just a hint of smokiness. We tend to be more oriented to Coral Bay and the south shore than Cruz Bay, so the location was great for us. We couldn't ask for better, more gracious hosts. They made sure they were available and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. We felt the price rate was very reasonable in an area where it is sometimes hard to find reasonable prices. We would definitely stay at Callaloo again next time we visit St. John."

  • Lovely property, very convenient with awesome view

"I have been travelling to St. John for many years and Calicaribe is my absolute favorite place to stay. I will sometimes change the dates of my travel so I can stay here. Lovely, well maintained property, tastefully furnished and literally minutes from Cruz Bay and the Marketplace. The house has a wonderful pool for relaxing beside and dipping in after a day at the beach. Very reasonably priced as well. But the major asset of this property in my opinion are the views. Located on a hillside facing west, north/west the view includes Stevens Cay, Grass Cay, Mingo Cay, Two Brothers, Thatch Cay, Hans Lollik, all of Pillsbury Sound and, of course, parts of St. Thomas. Sunsets range from beautiful to truly spectacular. I wish I was there now! Highly recommended"

  • Simply The Best

"My wife and I have just returned from another week at Sol Inclination, and yet again, it did not disappoint. We feel the highest compliment you can give a property is to be a return customer, as this was our second visit to this villa. The villa alone is a destination in itself; and we ended up spending two days on the property without ever leaving. That's really saying something considering how much the island has to offer. I would highly recommend Sol Inclination to any discerning visitor who requires the best views, amenities and privacy - it has it all! The property is beautifully maintained and has presented that "new and clean" ambiance each time we visit. It's almost too much space for just a couple and is ideal for a family or a group of friends. But that certainly doesn't stop my wife and I from returning to enjoy the privacy and solitude the villa provides. We often say, we must share Sol Inclination with our friends so that they can experience a vacation of a lifetime. Please don't hesitate to contact the property manager Marc with any questions you may have. He's hand's down the easiest, most accommodating person you will every work with to book such a marvelous property. We can't wait to return next year!"
