  • Very Impressed by the details!

"This was our first time to St. John and I had never done a villa rental before (usually stay in all inclusive resorts). The other couple we stayed with booked the villa as they absolutely love the island. We were SO impressed with the details and comforts appointed by this villa. The owners have overlooked nothing. It was great to have such amenities as coolers, beach chairs and towels, and a BBQ grill. We cooked out a couple of nights and it was lovely to eat out on the patio. The pool and landscaping were beautiful. I couldn't believe how well stocked the kitchen was !! Everything we wanted/needed was right there. We felt right at home and couldn't have been happier. It was such an amazing week. I love St. John and Longview Villa. We will definitely be back!!"

  • Loved it - Again!

"We loved Stonegarden Cottage so much we almost didn’t post a review because wanted to keep it a secret. This was our second year renting this cottage (the upper level) and it was even better than the first year. We’ve already reserved it again for next year. Frequent visitors to St John eventually learn that Coral Bay is the best place to stay if you like a laid-back vacation. No hotels, no casinos, no traffic, no worries. You’re close to the north shore beaches but also close to the east end of St John which is much less developed than Cruz Bay at the west end. The pace is slower but the basic necessities are all there including great markets, restaurants and friendly people everywhere. Stonegarden Cottage is located about a quarter mile up Bordeaux Mountain above Coral Bay. The pictures of the view on the website don’t really do justice to what you actually see. Coral Bay looks much closer and you can watch the boat traffic going in and out of the harbor. But it’s also high enough, about 500’ above sea level, to see over the east end of St John across the Sir Francis Drake Channel to the British Virgin Islands. Quite a view, especially on a starry night. The managers of the house, Thom and Jackie, couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. The place was spotless when we arrived after a long day of travel and Jackie had even put together a bouquet of flowers hand-picked from the nearby gardens to greet us when we got there. The owners are also very nice. We’ve known Thia for years now but finally got to meet Raf on this trip because he happened to be on island. If you happen to rent the cottage and like to read, be sure to find the copy of “Adrift on a Sea of Blue Light” written by Raf’s dad Peter. It’s in the bookcase to the left of the front door. You’ll love it as much as you love Stonegarden Cottage."

  • Beautiful Villa, Exactly as Expected

"My wife and I stayed 8 days here on our baby moon vacation and found the villa to be a great value. Kitchen is well appointed for cooking meals in, and we made several lizard friends there, just keep it cleaned up or the ants will flock! Washer and dryer were very handy too since we packed light. Access from Centerline road was doable in a Toyota Yaris by just maneuvering around the few high rocks in the access road. We arrived after dark and had no trouble finding it with the clear step by step directions provided. The master bedroom did have a portable air conditioner in it but we found that it had little impact since the windows were only screened. That is the ONLY thing we would have changed, and I'm sure most of the year the temperature is perfect. We just happened to come at the hottest time of year. Even so, the breezes in the open floor plan of the main level were wonderful and kept the afternoon temps comfortable. Wifi worked perfectly for when we needed to look up places to go. Coral Bay in my opinion is the best place to stay if you're planning to spend time exploring the island as you can easily go east, west, or south to most anywhere in <20 minutes. Some rental properties included kayaks and I wish Little Palms had as well but we made due by bringing our inflatable kayak so we could explore and snorkel around Henley Cay, Whistling Cay, Mermaids Chair, and get to the Caneel resort beaches without paying for a rental or admission fees. I'd absolutely recommend the villa to my friends & family!"

  • Simply Amazing!

"Stunning destination with a perfect place to stay and see it all. Condo did not disappoint. Very spacious for my wife and I with extra room for another couple (on our next trip). All the amenities you would expect and more- you don't need to bring anything from home other than your clothes and flip flops! Cant wait to do it again!"
