  • Just another week in paradise!

"Our definition of heaven! Our third time in Sea Spirit was as wonderful as the first. St John under the stars is just what one needs for a spring break. Alone in the middle of a wilderness park... Be sure to take advantage of all the great eating on this end of the island, the quiet beaches, and leave plenty of time just loafing on the deck watching the folks snorkeling the reef below the deck, the turtles doing the same, the jewel-like cruise ships sloooowly making their way across the horizon at night. Remember to loaf the first morning away, recharging with a cup of coffee! (There is the rest of the week in paradise, you know!). Take a day sail and snorkel the reefs or a day trip to Tortola or Virgin Gorda (bring your passport!). Don't forget to partake of the Fish tacos at the Tourist Trap at the top of Sugar Bird Hill! Your hosts, Terry and Olivier, are always available for information, assistance or a friendly chat. St John come soon (again!!)."

  • Great place to stay!

"This was our 4th visit to St. John. We have stayed in Peter Bay, Cruz Bay and Catherinesburg. This was our first stay in Rendevous Bay. We traveled with two other couples and our 3 kids, it was a perfect layout with two of the bedrooms having separate baths and the one our family used was downstairs with a shared bath with our kids. The house was beautifully appointed and had many extras as far as supplies needed for cooking so we didn't have to purchase things we may use just one time. The view is amazing and the location was convenient to town. The downstairs bedrooms are only accessible by steps outside of the villa, but since the weather is usually nice it wasn't a problem for our crew. Mark at SeaView Homes was very accommodating and helped us plan our trip along the way. The owners have thought of everything needed to make your stay as pleasant and relaxing as possible. Everything in this home is well maintained and very clean. Thank you Wilson's for sharing your beautiful home with us."

  • Cute spot

"Like the other reviews, it's a cute and private little spot for a couple. It's pretty clean, could use a deep cleaning on certain areas, but definitely clean enough. Excellent view from the porch. Ac in loft kept us cold just like we like, at night while we slept. The beach chairs and ice chest definitely came in handy. I loved the place because it was peaceful, but I would have liked to know that I was only going to get two bath towels and cloths for the entire week, per person, and three beach towels. I like clean stuff... Also, bring zip lock bags because you can't leave anything in the counter, not even unopened bread. Everything had to be sealed up or in the fridge or the ants will get into it. This is common on the island... I think. It's a cute place overall though."

  • Best sunset on the island

"First trip to St John wanted to be close to town but have privacy. This perfectly designed house fit the bill. A very short walk to the middle of town, but far enough outside to be quiet and peaceful. Looks like it's right on a street, but is far enough up the hill to barely notice the few cars we saw while there. Nice to be right across from Gallows Point resort, easy access to excellent restaurant, little shop if you run out of necessities (wine, etc.) and a place to rent snorkeling gear, etc. Nicely, simply appointed. Great kitchen and seating areas in and out. Perfect rental for two couples. Can't wait to go back."
