  • Two Words.... Stay Here

"We rented Kaleidoscope 3 years ago where we spent our 10 year anniversary. We were fortunate enough to be able to return with another couple. Kaleidoscope is a stunning villa. From the moment you enter the gated driveway and onto the beautiful landscaped grounds, this villa will take your breath away. The views are far superior in person. All four bedrooms have large spacious areas with outdoor showers and extremely comfortable king beds. The kitchen/great room area is decorated with such precise detail. The layout of the villa is designed where everyone can come together and dine inside or outside, and/or retreat to the privacy of their own bedroom with a full balcony. The outdoor area is perfect for eating breakfast or even hire a private chef to cook dinner. In addition, the infinity edge pool is so beautiful that it makes it hard to break away from the villa. The location of the villa is on Ditleff Point which is about a 15-20 minute drive to Cruz Bay. The drive is not bad with fully paved roads. The location is ideal on the south side of the island with drier weather and cool breezes compared to other locations on St. John. This was our second time staying at the villa and hope to return next year. The owner Jack is a delight to worth and is very informative with any questions you may have. If you have the opportunity, two words.... stay here. You won't regret it."

  • Great location with an amazing view!

"We had a wonderful stay. The condo is nicely furnished with all the basic necessities. Cruz Bay restaurants and bars are less than a five minute walk from the condo. Besides the incredible beaches nearby, we enjoyed sitting out at the balcony at night and enjoying the view of St. Thomas and the dock area. St. John is paradise."

  • Great week at White Cottage

"We were a group of four couples and rented White Cottage thru Destination St John. We could not find many reviews and our only other stay in St John was a condo for two of our group at Grand Bay. We were very pleased with our stay and the value we received. The villa is perfect for four couples to have privacy and common areas. It was clean, fully stocked and our only issue was the Internet which we could no log into. This was resolved with replacement of the router and a minor inconvenience. The villa was well stocked with beach and bath towels, fully air-conditioned and kitchen fully equipped for cooking in. We enjoyed a full moon the week we were there and enjoyed our simple grilled dinners on the veranda more so than any restaurant we visited. The villa was private and away from town a bit but easy to find and access. The only thing missing was a sunset view. The only thing I would suggest they add are black out drapes for sleeping in. The sunrise hits right into the east facing bedrooms very early. We spent our days at the various beaches and did not stay awake very late so we were awake early but could have been an issue if you want to sleep past 7:00 a.m."

  • This place rules! Best views on Saint John. Seriously.

"On our third trip to St. John we were lucky enough to stay at High House. Perched all the way atop a mountain, the house is perfectly nestled into a dense tropical forest setting. The house itself gives the impression of being sturdy and built with care. It is cantilevered out over a steep bank and has a wrap around porch that provides endless views to the surrounding hillsides, bays and adjacent islands. High House is outfitted with anything and everything you would need for your stay. Though the house is off the grid in every way, it is by no means primitive. The power was stable, the showers were hot, the toilets capable of whatever you can throw at em and there is even Wi-Fi! There is ample cookware, a dishwasher, washer/dryer, stereo, tv and cable, plenty of towels and even a hot tub with colored disco lights (highly recommended after a day at the beach and especially awesome during rain storms). In summary, this place is the best. A great value. Do not hesitate. We will be back next year."
