  • Breathtaking views from this Coral Bay villa

"The road leading up to Villa Tiffany is ridiculous- A Jeep is absolutely required. That being said-it's the price paid for a seriously spectacular view! We stayed over the Christmas holiday. J.Miller met us at the Jeep rental company in Cruz Bay, and led us to the villa. He was very professional throughout the booking process and for the duration of our stay. The villa was very clean and updated. Beds were comfortable. Laundry room was stocked with detergent- it came in handy throughout the week. Pool and hot tub offered great views of Coral Bay. We spent our days exploring many fantastic beaches, however, so they remained unused. Villa was equipped with ample bath/beach towels, beach chairs and coolers. The kitchen was well-stocked and we were provided w/ some spices, dish soap and sugar for coffee. Be sure to buy your groceries in Cruz Bay at the Starfish market-it is expensive, but offers the best selection on the entire island. There are a couple of tiny markets in Coral Bay, but they are extremely pricey and don't have much to offer. Our goal for this trip was to RELAX and enjoy the beaches. Mission accomplished! We packed a picnic lunch each morning, and then headed out to a different beach every day. Jumbie Bay (next to Trunk Bay) was our favorite. A short hike to the beach, and very few people. You have to arrive early (before 10) to secure one of the few parking spots. Sand is beautiful here and the snorkeling is great-We liked it better than Trunk Bay. Rent your snorkel gear from Crabby's in Coral Bay. Salt Pond bay (on the south east side of the island) is close to the villa and our second favorite spot. Miss Lucy's is on the way back home, and offers a delicious grouper reuben and painkiller cocktail for an early dinner. Cinnamon Bay beach is gorgeous. Leinster Bay (and Watermelon Cay) offered the best snorkeling, but the beach area is really rocky so wear something on your feet and bring bug spray. The Popular Skinny Legs is also in Coral Bay-great family friendly bar that also has a couple of small little shops to pick up a vacation t shirt. We didn't think the food was that great, but did stop for drinks a couple of times. Worth noting- 2 bedrooms are only accessible from outside the villa. Good to know if you have younger kids. Overall, very happy with the villa and had a wonderful trip. Yes, you will see lizards here and there and a few bugs, but remember that you are in the tropics and take it in stride!"

  • Lovely island villa with a great view of Coral Bay

"Island Breeze is the perfect place to stay if you like the quiet side of the island. It's very close to Coral Bay and all it's great bars and restaurants, but still quiet and peaceful. It's also conveniently situated to reach all the beaches without a long drive. Comfy beds, fully equipped kitchen, wifi, large covered deck, super-clean spa are just some of the many pluses. We also appreciated the beach chairs and umbrella that were furnished. We definitely plan on returning to this lovely home!"

  • Very Spacious

"When we first entered the property, we were amazed at just how spacious the home was. Of course, we had looked at all of the photographs on the property listing, but these photographs did not convey the true sense of expansiveness the home greeted us with. Simply put: This place is BIG! Our party consisted of four adults and two children, and not once did we feel crowded in. We cooked almost all of our meals here and relaxed on the deck in the evenings. From time to time, we would remark to one another, "I can't believe this is actually real - we are here - soaking all of this in." Our daylight hours were spent at various beaches (such as Miss Vie's, Salt Pond, Francis Bay, etc.) Plus, we often stopped back home for lunch, since the home was quick and easy to get to. While this was not our first time to St. John, it was our first time to rent a house. We are spoiled now, and I cannot imagine going back to a hotel or resort."

  • Lovely home with spectacular views.

"Our week in Sopra Mare was perfect. The house was as described, maybe even better because the views from this house defy description. There are walls of windows in this house and the views are breathtaking. This was our first visit to St. John and we found that the location of the house was perfect. It is close to Cruz Bay, but not too close. Restaurants and shops are a short drive away. I cooked most of our meals and the kitchen was stocked with everything I needed (except the food :) The owner was quick to respond to all of my questions. When we arrived in St. John we were met by Colleen who guided us to Sopra Mare. We did not need to call upon Colleen after that, but it was reassuring to know she was available if we needed her."
