  • Wonderful stay!

"Most beautiful place I have ever stayed in St. John. Absolutely immaculate and a perfect location. My husband had never been to St. John before and now he can't wait to go back. Thank you to John and Diane for sharing their lovely home."

  • Just What We Were Looking For

"We stayed at New Moon for one week in June. (our first trip without the kids in a while) The cottage was everything we wanted for a getaway. It was fully stocked with everything we needed. I mean, c'mon, they even had a french press for coffee snobs like me. While it isn't really secluded, the vegetation and landscape make it feel like it is. On our arrival, the place was spotless. We rented one of the Jeeps that they had, and Catherine made sure someone was there to pick us up at the ferry dock. He took us to the grocery store in Cruz Bay and then on to the cottage. Catherine was always available to answer any questions we had and to make sure that we got back to the ferry on time on our departure day. We really appreciated how she made us feel at home. I'm an island guy. In fact, someday soon I hope to be one of the locals that you meet in Skinny Legs. When we do meet, feel free to ask me for recommendations on things to do and places to eat. I'll talk your ear off. St John is one of my favorite places. While we were there my wife spent every day in the water with me, despite Jaws having scarred her for life where the ocean is concerned. We saw something new below the surface every day. I love the pace and natural beauty of the island. It was great to come back to the cottage at the end of the day and watch the twilight descend on the valley and the bay. You just can't beat falling asleep with the sea breezes rustling the curtains. Coral Bay is on the quiet side of a quiet island. Nothing is really all that far away from you though. The beaches on the east end and southern side are really close and on some days you'll have them virtually all to yourself. As far as food goes, Miss Lucy's, Oasis, and Skinny Legs all offer good food at reasonable prices and a great atmosphere. Pickles Deli has a good breakfast. Overall, it's great place to make your own adventure."

  • Coral Bay Gem....

"Stunning Caribbean architectural detail in the home welcomes you to this well-kept, well-appointed Villa. Perched slightly up the mountain side to give you a great view of Coral Bay (much better view than the VRBO photos give credit for) as well as Hurricane Hole but not to high on the mountain to give the driver and passengers white knuckles :) We enjoyed the sunshine from the deck, retreated in the shade to read, jumped in the pool and hung out comfortably on the surrounding deck with many happy hours relaxing and enjoying the beautiful expansive views. The home is as the photos display, even better in our opinion. The kitchen is loaded with glasses, plates, pans, etc., the furniture is comfortable and well maintained. We found the bedrooms to have dual closets, comfortable beds and a clean bath with spacious full tile shower (or enjoy the outside shower). Very cool. Quiet area, convenient location and all the amenities blend for a perfect vacation getaway! I would likely recommend Villa Madeline to friends and family!"

  • Add seven more to the ever growing list of Bay Rum Breeze evangelists

"7th trip to St. John and 4th trip for my wife, son (9) and I together with our friends and their two kids (7 and 10). We've rented villas on every trip and BRB is easily our favorite to date. We pride ourselves on being true STJ enthusiasts, filling almost every waking daylight hour on island at a beach, hiking trail, snorkel spot, restaurant, etc., but we spent more time succumbing to villa gravity this trip than any other simply because BRB is so much more than just another villa and added so much to our enjoyment of our vacation. Being villa renting veterans, we can truly appreciate BRB's design as it was equally accommodating for when the seven us wanted to come together or spread out. All the amenities are impeccable and appreciated, the view never fails to impress and the constant breeze keeps the bugs at bay and temperature pleasant even at the hottest part of the day. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would be remiss if we didn't praise Destination STJ for being gracious hosts both at arrival and departure. Hopefully it won't be too long before we are able to spend another wonderful week at BRB."
