  • Already Budgeting for Next Year

"I really hate to start our with a complaint, but where was music from Cases by the Sea? Other than not getting some good Reggae music from the locals, everything was perfect. Clark and Cathy were on vacation during our stay and Jenae and Willis took care of us during our stay. It's going to be hard for Clark and Cathy to beat out their hospitality next year. They checked on us several time to make sure our stay was perfect, which meant a lot. The driveway there, I guess there are times you may need a 4WD but I stopped using it after my 2nd trip up. Definitely want to rent a Jeep but it's really not too bad. Many properties on St John with triple the price tag have much scarier driveways than this road. It's just what comes with vacationing on The Rock. The house temperature was very cool, I got a little chilly is the mornings. No mosquitoes inside and really none outside on the deck. The last 2 days there was a mosquito outbreak on the island (read on Tripadvisor about after heavy rains) due to the rains a week earlier and it never got to bad to finish off the night on the deck. We did use bug spray but much more so on the beaches during our last couple days. The property had everything we needed. Great beach towels, chairs, coolers, grill, ect. (we actually ate out most meals due to the cost of groceries and since it was only 2 of us, it made sense financially) We brought spices and everything but Coral Bay has some really good and decently priced food. Just don't run up a bar tab and you'll be fine. We got several lunches from Pickles deli to take to the beach and had breakfast there a couple times as well. Island Oasis is about as cheap of a place as you will find for a dinner and huge portions that are equally as delicious. You must have the Ponzu Tuna from Aqua Bistro, served only on Friday nights so budget that in your plans and be sure to make a fairly early reservation so they don't run out. Ship Wreck Landing is also a great spot for lunch or dinner and it's a scenic 3 minutes from you. Also, Lucy's is a great place to eat directly on the water. The places mentioned are minutes from the bottom of your almost private mountain. Rent this house if you want to get away from it all but still be in the middle of all the great beaches and eateries. Granted, you will want to make a couple happy hours in Cruz Bay but it's only a 25 minute commute that has breathtaking views a long the way. Just don't book the dates we want before us!"

  • Gorgeous Island Home

"Blue Palm Villa is an exceptional getaway. Beautiful home, pool and views. If you like beautiful flowers and fresh limes right off the tree this the place for you. Easy drive to great restaurants, shopping and snorkeling. You will love the donkeys that saunter along the roads waiting for carrots and to have their picture taken. This Villa is for you."

  • Stunning Views, Convenient Location!

"We were blown away by the beautiful views from the balcony of Waterklip. Lovely pool and balcony to view the sunset over Great Cruz Bay & St. Thomas or watch local birds and iguanas in the morning. Short trip into town. Close to Starfish Market and Mongoose Junction. Very private. Never saw the neighbors and the owner's lodging is unoccupied when rental is available. The villa is well appointed with everything you could need to cook a meal in house or make your own rum punches. The owner's left brochures and guidebooks for our reference. We had such a wonderful time at Waterklip! Would recommend to anyone!"

  • Perfect, Perfect, Perfect!

"On a recent wonderful visit to St. John, we stayed at Aqua Bay Villas for week and we couldn’t have been happier with the accommodations. The owners and property manager were extremely helpful from booking through checkout, which made our stay seamless. The villas themselves were equipped with every amenity possible, including beach essentials such as chairs and coolers, which not only enhances your beach time, but will also save you money in lieu of renting these items. We loved the beautiful interiors, extending into spacious outdoor spaces, with absolutely amazing ocean views. Lastly, I can’t stress how perfect the location of the villas is. The heart of Cruz Bay is a stone throw away, where we walked to restaurants, shops, and bars everyday in minutes! We definitely plan on coming back to St. John and would not stay anywhere else except Aqua Bay!"
