  • Great condo on lovely beach!

"My husband, two teen daughters, and I had a wonderful time at this quiet, clean and lovely condo. It is very spacious, with two bathrooms and both Murphy Bed and Futon in the living room (the girls loved not sharing a bed). The condo is very nicely decorated, with all the comforts of home. It also is located very close to the beach. The beach was lovely - great for swimming or snorkeling. There are ducks and iguanas on the beach, which adds a little extra fun (watch out a little with the iguanas though - my husband decided to hand feed one of them and got a little nip). We rented a car and explored the island. Red Hook is a fun little town. Duffy's Love Shack is a great place to eat. One night we bought rotisserie chicken, beans and rice from the Food Center grocery store for dinner. It was a nice choice for a quiet, inexpensive dinner at the condo. The condo owner, Brent, was super helpful and responsive. Highly recommend!!!"

  • We love this condo.

"My friends and I have just finished our third extended stay at this condo. The unit is very clean, quiet and contains everything you need for a fabulous vacation including WiFi and cable TV. The condo itself is even better than the picture and has a million dollar view of the Caribbean and St. John. The pool and beach are a very short walk and are kept very clean. Beach chairs and cooler is furnished in condo for your use. The beach is great for swimming and snorkeling. Food is available on the beach at a open air cabana for breakfast, lunch and a variety of drinks. The Sapphire grill, a short walk up the hill, also serves lunch and dinner and has music many nights. The town of Red Hook is only a short taxi ride away and has an array of food, drinks and entertainment. Many grocery stores are a short ride away. We do not rent a car and have no trouble getting around. The $1.00 safari bus is available on the main road about every 15 minutes. With a little practice you can get almost everywhere on this affordable means of travel. This is an island of tourist so taxies are everywhere. Even though the taxi stand on site has been closed you can call one anytime of the night or day. Phone number for taxies available in condo. The rates are very reasonable. If you do rent a car ample parking is available on site. The resort is under renovation but this has no effect on your everyday activities and the end result will be worth it. AT&T has the only cell towers on the islands. All other companies must pay roaming charges which is very expensive. I bought a used AT&T Go phone for use on the island. The east end location of this condo is your gateway to St. John. A short ferry ride from Red Hook will take you to Cruz Bay and the beaches of St. John. It's like getting two islands for the price of one. The marina in front of unit has many boat tours available at a reasonable rate. We always take at least one boat tour on every visit. We have found the people are very friendly and see the same people come back every year. We feel extremely safe with the security at the entrance and security constantly walking the grounds. We love this condo and plan on visiting for many years to come."

  • Fantastic getaway

"My husband and I honeymooned at Sea Glass at Sapphire Beach during mid-September, and it was a beautiful experience. We rented snorkel gear from the resort's dive shop for the entire week and had so much fun just walking out the door each morning to swim with the fish, rays, and (our favorite) sea turtles! I loved being so close to the water, and it was incredibly relaxing sitting on the spacious porch to read a good book. I often caught myself simply staring off into the water or across the way to beautiful St. John. September is technically the "off season," and I was a little concerned about the weather, but we had no issues at all. It rained VERY briefly for about 5-10 minutes each day, which is pretty standard beach weather. Otherwise, it was all sunny skies. The island was pretty quiet, which suited us just fine. We had a blast going into Red Hook for dinner (or to catch a couple football games). Everyone was extremely friendly. We took the Safari taxis around ($1 fare pp) as much as possible, but they only run during daylight hours. Otherwise, normal taxis are extremely accessible. Most of our time was spent around the condo and resort area relaxing, but we took a couple of excursions. Highly recommend the Bad Kitty day cruise to see quite a few spots around the islands and see some beaches it would be difficult to get to otherwise. We finally went to St. John our last day, and I wish we had gone sooner! We had SO much fun renting a Jeep and cruising around the exotic island. The condo was very comfortable and had everything we could have needed. We picked up some supplies at the Kmart and had snacks, coffee, and a couple meals around the place. Highly recommend Sea Glass at Sapphire! Already dreaming of going back one day."

  • Perfect St. Thomas Experience

"We had a wonderful time in Sapphire Village. The condo has everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. We used the kitchen to make breakfast every morning and had everything we needed. The balcony was perfect for enjoying the amazing view and enjoying meals and drinks. Sapphire was a short 5 minute walk and a very nice beach. For lunch make sure to check out the "Off The Grid" food truck at the entrance of Sapphire Village for some amazing BBQ. Red Hook is a short cab ride or drive and has great restaurants and easy access to the ferry to St. John. We will definitely come back!"
