"The views are excellent, especially from the pool!! The house was very well appointed as others have mentioned. The pool accommodated our party of 8 just fine. I would definitely recommend this property!"

"Sitting in my hammock, feeling the cool ocean breeze...watching the sun set over blue/green water. That is what you will get when you stay at the Seaglass apartment. It is amazing apartment with breathtaking views. Also, the owners are AWESOME!!! Everything is very clean and the apartment comes fully stocked with plates, cups, silverware, pots and pans and utensils. There is a gas burning stove, microwave, and refrigator. They even supply chairs and a cooler to go to the beach.
If you need a great place to stay while visiting St. Thomas, I strongly suggest you staying at Stonehouse and especially the Seaglass apartment."

"My husband and I spent our honeymoon here and had an amazing time! Friends of ours stayed in a condo here the week before us and they loved it also. Joan greeted us when we arrived making sure we had everything we needed. We didn't have to contact the owners during our stay, but I know If we did they would have been very accommodating to anything we needed. We were able to use the snorkeling equipment which was awesome and we used it almost everyday traveling to all the different beaches. The location was perfect. Secret Harbor which is down the street was perfect for snorkeling and for happy hour at Sunset Grille. The drinks and appetizers there are amazing! Can't wait to go back for a future anniversary!
Thank you Joan and Robert!"

"Blue Sky is a wonderful home base for your trip to the Virgin Islands. It sits on Ridge Road, overlooking Vessup Bay off the back porch with views of the Caribbean out the front door and across the street. The neighborhood is quiet, with only the occasional traffic passing on the way to or from the Secret Harbor beach and resort just down the hill. While the drive back downtown is quick, you will also be minutes away from the Red Hook ferry terminal and easy access to many other islands.
You will find the house clean, secure, and well equipped. With a full kitchen (including a nicely stocked spice pantry) and a grocery store just minutes away, you do not need to rely on restaurant food if you do not want to. There are appropriate security features but the area is so safe and quiet that they must simply be there almost exclusively for deterrence.
Joanie was 100% honest and cordial in her dealings. She was helpful and available without being intrusive, and she gave generously of her local knowledge. She even provided us an excellent reference for a babysitter.
Rent Blue Sky with confidence.
If you can take your eyes off the harbor, spend some time studying the trees below the back porch. You might just find an iguana or two soaking up some sun.
Ludy's Place is a food truck that is parked to the left of the Food Center parking lot as you look at it from the road. The ladies there serve up delicious food at a reasonable price. It was so good we ate there twice.
Check the cruise ship schedules online. While we were there, Saturday was a no-cruise-ship day so we ventured downtown to walk around. We stumbled onto a great open-air market and got to enjoy a small taste of callaloo while listening to one of the great Caribbean sounds: Men playing dominos and arguing about it. I rarely feel so happily far from home."
