  • Perfect place for family reunion

"Caribbean Castaway was the perfect location for a family reunion, wedding week. The house and property was even better than the pictures. We walked and were so surprised to see a real Christmas tree for the holidays! The property is big enough that even with a full house, there is plenty of space to not feel on top of each other and the villa by the water feels like it's own private vacation. I would highly recommend this place, our family loved it. The East End location is perfectly located to restaurants, ferry to St. John and great beaches....if you even want to leave the house."

  • WOW -- What a view!

"I have been traveling to the USVI for many years now -- but it has been our first time back with our kids (ages 10 and 13). We really wanted to stay on the East End, close to the ferry and to Red Hook so we can enjoy the many beaches and restaurants the east end has too offer. But we still wanted to cook / eat breakfast when we wanted to. (Breakfast options are not plentiful.) Unfortunately, many resorts have been run down in the area. But not Cowpet! The villa was excellent. Updated, clean, and everything we could want. The location of the villa within the complex was probably one of the best -- overlooking the end of the beach -- but far enough away that it is totally private. We loved falling to sleep to the waves. The beach was truly a gem. Not crowded at all (unlike the Ritz next door), with no sea grass (unlike a few other resort beaches). Two top notch restaurants on site, and a place to rent water toys. The entire complex was well maintained, as the complex was gated and secure. Oh, the pool was great too! Nice and big, and tropical. Loved the little pool bar where we could watch a few football games while we enjoyed the beach/pool. My son snorkeled the bay almost everyday (even though it lacks a reef that would attract many fish). No worries though, plenty of great snorkeling at Coki and Sapphire -- all within a 10 minutes drive. I really hate writing such a good review -- as we want the place all to ourselves. But Bill was a great host, and we won't be back for a few years. He deserves a great review."

  • Romantic Getaway

"This was our first time visiting the Virgin Islands and had a wonderful time. The staff at the resort was fantastic. Everybody was accommodating and helpful. We loved the location, especially the beautiful view overlooking St. John. The condo was clean, looked exactly how it did in the pictures. We would definitely come back in the future!!"

  • Incredible views, Cozy condo & an Amazing vacation

"Two of my girlfriends and I just got back from staying at this condo in the Virgin Islands for Spring Break. We had the most incredible vacation ever and our living space had a huge hand in it. The condo is right on the beautiful Sapphire beach with crystal white sand and aqua blue waters. The patio is so great to eat breakfast on or just to enjoy the sound of the ocean and breeze at night. There were times when I had to force my friends to leave the apartment so we could go explore the island because they were so attached to the place The pictures are very true to the actual space and the condo is very cozy. The snorkeling on our beach was awesome because there was a lot of coral on the beach and we saw so many different types of fish. What we absolutely loved about the Sapphire Beach was its location and its close proximity to the town of Red Hook. We were less than half a mile away from town, we walked a couple of times or took the dollar cab from the top of the hill. Kirk, the owner, was very helpful in answering all our questions and we had a very comfortable stay. We got back from vacation less than a week ago and we are already planning our next Spring Break trip back here. I would recommend this place to all my friends and my family (I already have). Happy Vacation Everyone!"
