  • A dream come true!!

"My husband and I celebrated our 35th 'coral' anniversary in St Thomas. I reviewed several different condos online but kept coming back to Luna Bella! Sue has videos posted online and I watched them over and over dreaming of the day I would be there in person so when I actually walked down the steps into Luna Bella it was so surreal! It was definitely a dream come true to be there!! I have not seen videos posted on any of the other condos I inquired about. The video was an absolute plus!! Our flight had gotten in late so all we could see when we arrived in the dark was lights on the hillside. I anticipated the arrival of daylight and the opening of the condo drapes to see the glorious view as if I was waiting for Christmas morning. It was breathtaking! The toaster was not working but they promptly replaced it the same day with a brand new one which by the way now matches the coffee maker and blender. One reason I chose Luna Bella was because the bedroom is actually separated by louvered doors. Most of the other condos the bedroom was either part of the living room or it was only separated by a curtain. For our anniversary we spent thurs at Coral World park which is just around the bend. We purchased tickets in advance. When I inquired on which day would be best to go they suggested thurs because the cruise ships would not be in (so not as many tourists). That was a good choice because we went to Charlotte Amalie on Wed when the cruise ships were there. That was amazing seeing two huge ships in the harbor. I've never experienced that before. We purchased tickets from coral world for the butterfly garden which come to find out is actually in Charlotte Amalie. That was so fun having butterflies sitting on your shoulder and the flowers were beautiful! Coral world was a wonderful experience. We got to interact with a sea lion (extra charge), feed and pet sting rays, view the magnificent ocean life from under the sea without getting wet! The iguanas everywhere were delightful (: we got to feed them lettuce at the end of the day. The condo provided free scuba gear. We were so busy we didn't use it until 2 days before we left. For beginners such as us Sugar Beach at the bottom of the hill was perfect! Who would've thought we would see amazing purple and yellow fish about 10 feet from shore. From the beach you just see a rock sticking up out of the water but put your mask on and there is another whole amazing world! Luna Bella we miss you! Thank you Sue!"

  • 2 weeks of fun and sun

"We arrived at night so the WOW factor of the gorgeous view in the morning was high! The king bed was comfortable, and the pull out queen was heaven to a 9yr old. Plenty of closet space and drawer space made unpacking a breeze. The water pressure in the shower was stronger than I had expected, and very relaxing after a long day of play. The kitchen had everything we needed and more, we had brought a cooler of food to cook some of our own meals -- saved alot of money not eating out everyday. The view from the deck was amazing, we enjoyed using the loungers and relaxing with a cold drink after a busy day. The grounds and trails were nice, and would take you to a pool or little beach where you could either relax or snorkle. The resort staff couldn't be more friendly or helpful, this made the stay even better. This was the perfect location as a home base for all the nearby attractions, I would recommend a rental car but the free shuttle works great if you don't want to explore the island. I will be booking again for next year and can't wait to make even more memories!!"

  • Chateau Relaxo was just that. A great place to start on a St. Thomas adventure...

"Chateau Relaxo was a very comfortable studio condo... The view from the balcony is the selling point! The deck is a great place to enjoy the morning starters or catch up on e-mail/social media via Wi-Fi. The accommodations were very comfortable. The unit is very updated, by island standards, having a granite tile kitchen with full size refrigerator and microwave, and a nice tile shower with overhead shower head. The unit has cable and Wi-Fi (although cable service is on island time at times) and a DVD player for in-unit entertainment. The furniture was island themed and very comfortable. The sofa has a comfortable pull out (surprising, considering most pull out mattresses are terrible). The only drawback is that the extra bed sits about 5 feet from the other with no divider, so privacy between the two beds is absent. The unit is closely located to Red Hook (less than 5 minutes by car), the islands social hub for tourists where there are many great spots to eat and watering holes, and the Red Hook - St. John Ferry Terminal. (A day trip visit to St. John, at minimum, is a must). While in Red Hook we enjoyed Island Time Pub, XO, Sunset Grille, Tap and Still and Fuzzy's. If you venture to downtown area stop in at Cuzzin's for great jerk chicken and sweet potatoes and the Green Room. For site seeing, you'll want to see Magen's Bay. We enjoyed SUP while at the bay since the water was so flat and the water and view were beautiful. You'll also want to drive up to the Mountain Top Lookout. The Banana Daiquiris, although a bit pricey, are well worth the trip! Also, the view from Paradise Point was awesome, although I recommend driving up rather than taking the pricey tram. Chateau Relaxo was very comfortable and very relaxing. A great hub for our island adventures. Looking forward to staying here for our next visit to the Virgin Islands!"

  • Just awesome

"My wife and I stayed at this property from Jan 24 to Jan 30, 2014. Superb location and beautiful view; even better than the pics. There is a fantastic restaurant in the ground floor at water's edge. Nice beaches (Coki and Saffire) near by. We also loved the little but charming secluded beach right on the property. Of course, we loved the view, the food, the beaches. That made our stay so enjoyable. But it would not have been so if not for the help and the extra mile that the Manager, Dionne, went to accommodate us. Due to a snowstorm our flight on the 22nd January got cancelled and we got a flight two days later than our scheduled arrival. Dionne was always there to help us while I was coordinating with the airlines for flight and she was not sure how she would do it but assured us that somehow she will take care of it. Indeed, she did. She had to move us to another unit for the last night of our stay there. We're really thankful for her accommodating us and being always cheerful."
