  • Amazing place to stay!

"The Sunflower was probably one of the best places that we have ever rented. The studio was fully stocked with many of the conveniences of home. There were plenty of bath towels, beach towels, toiletries, and bottled water and beer for our arrival. We were also thankful to be provided beach chairs to take to many of St. Thomas's beautiful beaches. You won't find a better view on the island to enjoy while spending lazy afternoons in the hammock. Joan was the ultimate host, from assisting with arranging an anniversary surprise for my husband to accommodating us an extra night in the Sunflower when our flight home was cancelled due to weather. The location is perfect to explore the east end of the island. Secret Harbour is a 10 minute walk down the hill, where you can find Aqua Action Dive Shop, two great restaurants, a beautiful beach, and decent snorkeling. Red Hook is less than 5 minutes away by car, where you'll find many great restaurants (XO Bistro, Tap and Still, Island Time Pub) and the ferry to St. John. Our favorite beach to visit was Smith Bay Park (Lindquist Beach). It's a beautiful, quiet beach, not popular with the cruise ship crowds. We hope to return to the Sunflower and Stonehouse again in the near future."

  • There's no place like home.....except here!

"New England winters can be filled with snow.........lots of snow. So again I traveled to St. Thomas to get a healthy dose of vitamin D, recharge my batteries, and re-connect with my inner beach bum. This year I found Nazareth Hideaway located close to Redhook and near Secret Harbor. It has the perfect mixture of serenity, privacy, and local flavor. Jan was a delight to discuss plans with and ask questions over the phone. My niece and I found the deck to be spacious and comfortable for relaxing and sunbathing in the gentle breeze. It is perfect for the early morning sun goddess (me) to bask in the sun and reflect on life while the roosters awaken the island. The bedroom is comfortable and the fan a delight for those who may need a few more zzz's. The kitchen has everything you need to re-heat your tasty ITP pizza, cook a meal, keep frosty beverages on hand, and even make coffee to start your day off. You can enjoy the couch inside and watch tv, but I preferred the deck chairs and watching the sun roam across the sky. I was only disappointed to not connect with Jan in person as she was off with the Paralympic sailing team in Miami while we were in town. Thanks to New England's weather patterns (Yay! - snow storms are fun when you are here!) our stay was extended and we were able to meet and enjoy Jan's company. She was a gracious hostess and filled with ideas if we needed them. A person you would love to chat over a glass of wine with anytime. (thanks for the wine!) She was key to our smooth transition for extra days of lodging. We appreciated her help and felt so lucky that we didn't even have to worry or scramble around. Instead, we were able to relish our two extra days of deliciously hot sun, warm turquoise waters, and cold banana rum. Ahhhh.......until the islands call me back again............thank you for a wonderful stay. I look forward to another return to visit with Jan. Staying at Nazareth Hideaway allows you a comfortable space to relax when you need a little "me" time. I'll be back..........."

  • Sea Side Studio - Secre Harbour, V.I.

"Our 4th stay here. Great view, quick walk to the beach with great snorkeling. Melissa provides beach chairs, cooler, towels, insulated tote bag for beverages/lunch/snacks and snorkel gear. Lots of fish, sea turtles, eels etc. to see in the harbor. Only 1 mile into Red Hook but need a car or taxi ride to get there, roads are narrow and unsafe to walk. A hidden gem for sue!"

  • Secret Haven has a great location

"I really loved staying at Secret Haven. The location is great: close to beach, restaurant/beach bar, dive shop and close to other restaurants and bars in Red Hook. I will want to return to Secret Haven the next time that I visit the Virgin Islands. The Rooster's wake you up every morning so you do not need an alarm clock! This property is good for couples or families with children."
