  • Perfect Location! Wonderful Place to Stay!

"My husband and I, along with our college-aged daughter and niece, stayed at Connie's condo for 10 days. We were everywhere on the island during our vacation and each day, we commented how Cowpet Bay was the perfect location. The bay is beautiful, the 1 minute walk to the beach is easy (you do have to be able to go up and down quite a few stairs) and the 5 minute drive to Red Hook, with its nice variety of restaurants, bars, grocery stores (go to Moe's - they have everything you may need), and easy access to the St. John Ferry, was great. Also it is not a very far drive to 2 of STT most popular beaches, Sapphire and Magen's Bay. The condo is very clean, comfortable and well-appointed, and literally has everything you might need. We felt right at home the minute we walked in. Spent most of our time at the condo sitting on the large balcony enjoying the view of the bay and all the ships. The condo development does not have a pool but we truly did not miss having one at all - not with the beach a minute down the hill. Plenty of chairs on the beach, too - never a problem to get one. There are also 2 restaurants on the beach, as well as a small water sports concession (can rent snorkels, etc.). Highly recommend this condo and we would definitely stay here again!! Thanks Connie!"

  • Sunsets in St Thomas - Celebrating Shades of Aqua and Azure...

"We stayed in this beautiful bay front villa for almost a glorious week.( 12/8-12/24). The most gracious and hospitable owners- Alan and Janel Gordon, were a joy to work with. They arranged a car and driver to pick us up from the airport.Ramona was wonderful! Dependable and on time.We gave her our list of dinner reservations the very first day and that was it.The villa is located in a lush, tropical gated community. We were on the second unit.Cool breezes blew in gently from the bay.Beautifully furnished with island decor. All wicker and rattan.Great amenities.Very nice bathrooms.Beach nice but small. However two great restaurants- Sangria's and Caribbean Fish Market. Ask for Mr Big Life at CFM! The beach offers kayaking,SUP,snorkeling( great!) and paddle boats. We went to Bleuwater for dinner at the Ritz one day.Terrible food and service.Very disappointing. The villa is 5 mins away from Red Hook which is full of restaurants- Pesce (excellent) and Fish Tails Bar ( moderate). We took the ferry from Red Hook to St John- try Caribbean Historical Tours and ask for Mr Dawuud. We were SO happy with their service. They came to the condo and picked us up.Don't miss- Magen's Bay,Trunk Bay and brunch at the Old Stone Farmhouse.Ramona- the driver took us everywhere. Some helpful suggestions:- 1) No need to buy bottled water. The fridge has a built in water filter. 2) Ask the driver to stop at Moe's Fresh Market instead of Food Center- we are still recovering from the high prices at Food Center. The villa has S,P and sugar.Buy coffee beans. They have a coffee bean grinder. 3) It would be nice if the villa had a safe for jewellery and valuables. 4) An i-phone docking station to play music. 5) It would be nice if the TV could be replaced in the second bedroom. The top third of the screen is warped. The DVD remote was not there also.A second cable is needed for the TV's too.We had to switch cables from DVD to TV every time we wanted to watch the news. All in all - I would not stay anywhere else in St Thomas! We really enjoyed our stay. Many thanks to Alan and Janel."

  • Love This Place!!

"Our stay in St. Thomas was wonderful. We stayed at a condo in the Sapphire Beach Resort we rented from Paradise at the Beach. The location was perfect. The condo was on the 2nd floor, which I thought might be an inconvenience, but it was actually better than the 1st floor. With the higher elevation we were able to enjoy the beautiful view of the beach and the bay every morning when we woke up. The condo was clean and quiet. There were plenty of towels and dishes for our needs. The owners also provide snorkel gear, which looked to be brand new. And speaking of the owners, I have to say how wonderful Jeff was in assisting us during our stay. My husband had to have emergency surgery a few weeks before our trip and I forgot to make car reservations. By the time I tried to make reservations, all the car companies were completely booked. I called Jeff and he was able to quickly get us a reservation. Jeff also was quick to respond when we needed assistance finding things around the condo. He also was able to help us with the rental car after our departure. I can't say enough about how attentive and helpful he was for us. Our visit to St. Thomas was our first. We took a trip to St. John's for a tour of the island. I would recommend taking the ferry over and asking one of the taxi drivers for a tour. The cost was $25 pp, but was very well worth it. The gentleman that gave us the tour had lived on the island since 1956 and helped build the infrastructures there. We also took an all day sail with Alaunt Charters. That was wonderful. Ron and Carol, the owners, gave us a private tour around the islands and took us out for our first snorkel trip. I highly recommend them. We loved our trip to St. Thomas and can't wait to come back. We would definitely stay at Sapphire Beach again."

  • A wonderful time

"I Stayed here from 12/28 through 1/4 and had a wonderful time. Check-in was hassle free and so was obtaining beach towels. The view from the balcony (and the bed) is beyond words. There were beach chairs in the closet and two conveniently placed TVs. The beach is great, the water is choppier than in other places but turned out to be the best place (that i found in 7 days) for snorkeling. The owner was very accommodating and responded fast to emails. The only con was that there was no wifi in the unit (the wifi from the main office did not reach). Not terrible in itself and let me focus on everything that was great around me."
