  • Wonderful experience.

"Our first time to the Virgin Islands was one to remember. This wonderful condo was a major part of that. How the owner represents their property is spot on, especially since one can't put into words just how beautiful it really is there. Marsha is excellent in all things related to renting a condo. If you are looking for simplicity, quiet, and "peaceful with a gorgeous view", then this is truly to place for you. Dining can be accomplished in several ways. We did cab rides into Red Hook as well as using the 'walkable' choices near the unit. "Off the Grid" food truck at the top of the hill was awesome, definitely recommend at least one visit there. "Banana Cabana" was great for lunch, right there on the beach, and nice selections. We"

  • Amazing place to stay!

"The Sunflower was probably one of the best places that we have ever rented. The studio was fully stocked with many of the conveniences of home. There were plenty of bath towels, beach towels, toiletries, and bottled water and beer for our arrival. We were also thankful to be provided beach chairs to take to many of St. Thomas's beautiful beaches. You won't find a better view on the island to enjoy while spending lazy afternoons in the hammock. Joan was the ultimate host, from assisting with arranging an anniversary surprise for my husband to accommodating us an extra night in the Sunflower when our flight home was cancelled due to weather. The location is perfect to explore the east end of the island. Secret Harbour is a 10 minute walk down the hill, where you can find Aqua Action Dive Shop, two great restaurants, a beautiful beach, and decent snorkeling. Red Hook is less than 5 minutes away by car, where you'll find many great restaurants (XO Bistro, Tap and Still, Island Time Pub) and the ferry to St. John. Our favorite beach to visit was Smith Bay Park (Lindquist Beach). It's a beautiful, quiet beach, not popular with the cruise ship crowds. We hope to return to the Sunflower and Stonehouse again in the near future."

  • Beauty in paradise

"This was our first trip to the VI's, and we couldn't have picked a more perfect location. Falling asleep and awakening to the rhythm of the Caribbean Sea outside our balcony set the mood for relaxing, but adventurous days. (And the bed was truly comfortable-very important!). Just sitting on the deck and enjoying the view of the sea and islands was perfection in itself. Location was also terrific for our stay: Red Hook ferry just a short taxi/safari ride away and even our foray to Linbergh Bay for kayaking and snorkeling was an easy 30 minute ride. We were the envy of our friends, also staying on St Thomas, when our dinner cruise originated from the Sapphire Marina, just outside our back door. The condo contained everything we needed for our stay, even a beach bag when we forgot ours. And Phil graciously allowed us a late checkout when our return flight was changed. We give the entire experience the highest recommendation."

  • First Class Place to Stay

"Had a fantastic stay at this unit in the Elysian Beach Resort!. This is the place to stay! Unit was well appointed, clean and fully functional with a great layout. The pricing was very reasonable and it was well worth it. It is certainly one of the better resorts around with well maintained grounds, access to the beach, good food and a convenient pool. There are tons of things to do, and places to go if you choose to wander out and about. There are some "must see" places to go while you are there such as the Soggy Dollar and/or Sydney's Peace & Love on Yost Van Dyke. There was some very good snorkeling at multiple places with all kinds of interesting pelagic life such as spotted rays, turtles, octopus .. you name it. To get there, check out St Thomas Boat Rental for great transportation. Try the out of the way restaurants and bars ....for a different twist on the traditional Dairy Queen, a good stop is a little ramshackle place called the Udder Delight at Magan's Bay for a milkshake with some island rum thrown in ... maybe even a couple of stops there are warranted."
