  • AMAZING CONDO IN ST THOMAS!

"This condo was the perfect place for us to stay at during our first trip to the US Virgin Islands. We arrived to a spotless condo with all of the amenities that you'll need for a relaxing vacation, including kitchen supplies/appliances, free Wifi, and the best part, a hammock on the porch! The condo is located on Sapphire Beach, which offers some of the best snorkeling on the island. It was located very close to Red Hook (~3 minute drive) where you can find plenty of restaurants and have easy access to the ferry to St. John. We definitely recommend staying at this condo, and are looking forward to our next stay!"

  • Pool and Beauty

"This place was amazing! It had it all: 1. A stones throw from Red Hook, Ferries to St. John and other locations, Safire Beach, restaurants, etc. 2. You have your own pool, patio, and grill. All of which are completely private. 3. Nice flowers and plants around patio and pool. 4. The unit has floor to ceiling windows for half of the walls letting in plenty of light and letting you see the beauty from your bed, living room, and kitchen. 5. Chris, the owner, is very helpful and can help guide you to the best of the island attractions and make your trip more enjoyable."

  • PERFECT FIT FOR US!

"We've been coming to STT for years, and this is possibly the best of what we look for in a waterfront condo. Views....fabulous! From our balcony we can enjoy a wide expanse of the Caribbean Sea and enjoy the ocean breezes as we drink morning coffee or enjoy the sunset. Accommodations....love that there is not only a microwave but an actual stove since we usually cook rather than dine out. The kitchen, while small, has been nicely updated. It is fully stocked and very functional. Bed.... The most comfortable bed. It's similar to a Temper-Pedic. It allowed us to sleep well and rise refreshed. Bathroom nicely updated. Pool.....right beside our building. A bar/ grill is usually open at poolside; unfortunately it's closed for repairs during this stay, but a nice "extra" when open. Snorkeling.....Sapphire Beach has some of the best snorkeling on STT; grassy areas have let us see many turtles and several stingrays....Eagle and Southern. Actual reef areas are home to numerous colorful fish; some areas are close to the surface which means some great underwater shots due to optimal sunlight. All in all, this is the best combination of the things we come to STT for. Tom/manager of the unit was great. Good quick responses to emails and a great hook-up for car rental, a huge benefit in light of some previous experiences with airport car rentals. We will be back! Thanks Tom!"

  • Chateau Relaxo was just that. A great place to start on a St. Thomas adventure...

"Chateau Relaxo was a very comfortable studio condo... The view from the balcony is the selling point! The deck is a great place to enjoy the morning starters or catch up on e-mail/social media via Wi-Fi. The accommodations were very comfortable. The unit is very updated, by island standards, having a granite tile kitchen with full size refrigerator and microwave, and a nice tile shower with overhead shower head. The unit has cable and Wi-Fi (although cable service is on island time at times) and a DVD player for in-unit entertainment. The furniture was island themed and very comfortable. The sofa has a comfortable pull out (surprising, considering most pull out mattresses are terrible). The only drawback is that the extra bed sits about 5 feet from the other with no divider, so privacy between the two beds is absent. The unit is closely located to Red Hook (less than 5 minutes by car), the islands social hub for tourists where there are many great spots to eat and watering holes, and the Red Hook - St. John Ferry Terminal. (A day trip visit to St. John, at minimum, is a must). While in Red Hook we enjoyed Island Time Pub, XO, Sunset Grille, Tap and Still and Fuzzy's. If you venture to downtown area stop in at Cuzzin's for great jerk chicken and sweet potatoes and the Green Room. For site seeing, you'll want to see Magen's Bay. We enjoyed SUP while at the bay since the water was so flat and the water and view were beautiful. You'll also want to drive up to the Mountain Top Lookout. The Banana Daiquiris, although a bit pricey, are well worth the trip! Also, the view from Paradise Point was awesome, although I recommend driving up rather than taking the pricey tram. Chateau Relaxo was very comfortable and very relaxing. A great hub for our island adventures. Looking forward to staying here for our next visit to the Virgin Islands!"

East End Travel Tips

Situated just east of Puerto Rico, the small Caribbean Island of St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands is known for its beautiful beaches, shopping and dining. The quieter East End area makes a pleasant contrast with the busy capital and port of Charlotte Amalie. The quiet town of Red Hook with its red-tiled homes overlooking Pillsbury Sound has a relaxed atmosphere, uncrowded beaches and spectacular dive sites. Along the streets of this charming town, the Havensight Mall offers great Caribbean wares at duty-free prices and there is a surprisingly vibrant nightlife after dark. Red Hook lodging is a great place to find a cold drink, casual dining and party music.
