  • Wonderful studio on the East End of the island!

"This studio is a short walk away from Secret Harbor and a quick drive to Red Hook.We shopped for groceries at Food Center (also close) and prepared our meals in-house( I actually enjoyed washing dishes with the view of Red Hook!)The owners were gracious and available on-site for any questions or concerns. We did not rent a car and used the taxi service to arrive at the studio. We spent most of our days relaxing on Secret Harbor's beach, enjoying its calm waters, lovely snorkeling, and nice restaurants. Just to give you an idea of the unit's proximity to Red Hook, we did walk to Red Hook one morning in order to catch the ferry to St. John (watch those corners!). I highly recommend this studio and would stay here again!"

  • Lovely views! Great location! Gorgeous condo!!

"My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Treetops. I wanted to stay in or near RedHook as it has a local feel. June and Steve were very personable and they made us feel right at home. They have lived on the island for many years and are very knowledgeable about places to go. The pictures do not do this condo justice and it is quite nice. It's breezy, airy and rather spacious with an open concept. We will definitely stay here when we return."

  • Outstanding Room!!!!

"Okay, it's only taken 6 months to post a room report, but here goes... We have visited St. Thomas every year since 1999. We have stayed at various resorts & last year decided to try Point Pleasant when we saw a video clip of room E6. The video was not deceiving. E6 was clean and a very functional room with galley kitchen, all of the glass wear, utensils, dishes, pots & pans, dining table and, sitting area. The deck had a table & 2 lounge chairs to take in the view. Our flight from Chicago was delayed and, by the time we arrived at Point Pleasant, it was dark & raining. We were not able to see much from the deck at that time, but in the morning we were treated to a gorgeous view. We were very pleased with the idea of NOT needing much air conditioning. We would set the AC timer for about 1 hr when we returned at days end. With the help of ceiling fans, we were very comfortable through the night after the AC turned off. Once watching the sunrise on our 1st day, we made it a point to wake early, open 2 of the 3 sliding glass doors and, listen to the waves crashing against the shore line a short distance below, while enjoying a wonderful cross breeze flowing through the room. We left the sliders open until we reluctantly closed them when we left the room to visit friends and explore the island. The grounds at the resort have some very steep hills, but from the room, it was a short walk down to a very small, private beach area tucked against the hillside. Just outside of the room door, walking down a few more stairs will take you to the well kept pool...very refreshing on a hot day! During our trip, the restaurant and bar just below the pool were closed as they were remodeling for the new owners to reopen shortly after we returned home. The other restaurant on the property was not open and, we are unsure if they have since reopened. We are familiar with the island and know of many restaurants where we go to eat so, this did not present a problem except for the first evening. We arrived a bit late, we were hungry and, tired. We did not feel like going back out so, we did as you would do at home...call to have a pizza delivered! No problems!!! We truly love St. Thomas & the islanders. We were thrilled with "our" room last year, so were very excited to find out it was open for rental again this year! We are now counting down the days until we return to the island and, yes, staying at Point Pleasant in room E6!!!"

  • Father of the bride

"Great stay, great condo very well equipped lots of beach toys and many left over condiments etc from previous occupants. Was missing bath and hand soap..minor nuisance. As close to beach, pool ,restaurants as possible at Elysian but did require multiple flights of stairs up and back down to go to beach.Owner very easy to work with and very helpful."

The quiet town of Red Hook with its red-tiled homes overlooking Pillsbury Sound has a relaxed atmosphere, uncrowded beaches and spectacular dive sites. Along the streets of this charming town, the Havensight Mall offers great Caribbean wares at duty-free prices and there is a surprisingly vibrant nightlife after dark. Red Hook lodging is a great place to find a cold drink, casual dining and party music.
