"Paradise found! How to count the ways...mornings on the pool deck just steps away from the condo would have been hard to tear away from if there weren't so much else to see and do! Browsing and beaching in Red Hook; ferrying to St. John for shopping; eating meals fresh from the bay at dockside tables w/ panoramic vistas and gently tickled everywhere you go by the sea breeze...the resort staff was at our service for free shuttles to & fro and right on the mark w/ suggestions about the ways and means of island life. The free snorkel gear they offer came in handy at both Lindquist and Coki beaches where the sand was white and the tropical fish were both plentiful and colorful. The pictures here of views from the condo terrace barely hint @ the actual beauty of them. Go and see for yourselves - we can't wait to get back!"Guest: MW Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: June 19, 2014View listing
"I had the opportunity to stay at this condo for nine days along with my fiancé and we had a wonderful stay. The property is located off the beaten path, is very quiet yet close to Red Hook amenities such as restaurants, bars, stunning beaches, ferry to St John and most things we needed. It was very clean and nicely decorated. Everyone we came into contact was very friendly. There was a small market in Red Hook that has closed but there is a bigger supermarket located slightly west and is about a five minute drive. A car is almost a necessity here although cabs will respond. The unit was stocked with everything we needed and there were no problems at all. Dawn was responsive to our questions before the trip and everything went as planned. We loved sleeping with the doors open and hearing the waves lap at the shore very close by. The unit has AC but we seldom used it because we liked the night sounds so much. This is my fourth stay in St Thomas and I love it very much. We took walks every morning which allowed us to see some other very interesting properties as well as scenic vistas very close by. If you have never been, you will be amazed at the scenery along with St John. We rented from Avis which allows cars on the ferry to St John. Parking in Red Hook can be a challenge but there is a free underground parking garage that we found after a few days, take a right at the sign for Molly Malone’s if heading east just as you enter the center. Our favorite beach is Lindquist which is located between Sapphire and Coki. The water is crystal clear for good snorkeling, bring a cooler. Secret Harbor is a good place for a snorkel and a sunset cocktail and is very close by the condo , it is calm and protected if there is too much wind at the east facing beaches. Red Hook is a blast and we will return and stay in this property again, it is a great value. Thanks Dawn, Jay and Wendie Newport, RI"Guest: Jay O. "My Wife, 2 boys and I enjoyed our week at the Ritz Club in St Thomas. The Staff at the property are amazing. The condo was beautiful and had everything we needed. The owner, Ken, was great to work with. We were last minute on our planning and he worked very hard to make this vacation happen for us. He also provided us with information he has gathered about the resort and the Island over the last 17 years he and his family have been vacationing there. We had such a great time. We went fishing and caught 60 lbs of Black fin Tuna. It was so good. The Deckhand cut one up on the way back to the resort and we had sushi on the boat. We took the ferry over to St. John and snorkeled Trunk Bay which was rated one of the top beaches in the world. We took a boat over to Virgin Gorda and toured these huge rock formations called the Baths. We went too Cook island with a population of only 35 residences and had a great lunch. We snorkeled the caves of Norman Island where pirates hid their treasure. There is so much to do around the Islands and on the Island. We took a water Taxi over to Hassel Island where we rented a golf cart to tour the island. We visited the old WW2 Artillery Bunker which was very interesting and has great views. Then we Golf carted down to a beautiful Bay and ate a great meal at an open air beach restaurant and swam in the bay with the kids all afternoon. The Ritz Carlton Club on St Thomas is an ideal vacation for Families because it is located so close to all of the activities and has seperate bedrooms for everyone and a kitchen. We ate several meals in the residence. Their is a grocery store 5 minutes from the resort with everything a mainland store would have. We had maid service every day. They changed our linens mid week and we had turn down service every night. We loved our Housekeeper. She became part of the Family by weeks end. To sum it all up. The owner was great to work with. St Thomas is a great vacation destination with many activities to do and incredible beaches if you just want to relax. The Ritz Carlton Club is the most luxurious accommodation on the island. I couldn't think of a better place to Stay on St. Thomas. We will be back again."Guest: Anonymous Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: August 22, 2014View listing
