  • Upstairs condo at Sapphire Beach, Crystal Cove

"Fantastic!! Would highly recommend this to anyone. Working with the owner was great. Very nice, clean condo. Would definitely request this same condo again. The management on the property was excellent too, if we had any problem or concern they were on it immediately! The beach is so close. Quality, affordable condos near Red Hook, like this one, are the best and safest places to be on the island. This is our 2nd year in coming here and this is where I would prefer to stay for sure!"

  • Week Stay At Sapphire Beach Condos

"I was really impressed with our condo. The king bed was very nice and there was everything we needed in it. I had talked to the owner about having to rent snorkel gear (you can rent it at the beach, but we were planning on going to several beaches and didn't want to rent gear at every beach). Our condo owner purchased four sets of snorkel gear to be stored in the condo. Excellent snorkeling right off shore. And if you go, you have to do a day sail on the Nightwind. We zip lined, did jet skis, paddle boarded, and went over to St John's for a day, but the day sail trip was our best day. The only negative thing I would say is that it appears that the Sapphire Beach Resort has been under renovation. It would be nice to see when done, but I had a few people state it's been under renovation for several years. Also to note, it's a good location. Close to ferry to St Johns, grocery store and several resturants. Not much shopping close by, but we spent part of the day in Charolette Amaile. If you plan to do this, be sure to go when a cruise ship is in, otherwise a lot of the stores will be closed. Most ships in port Mon-Wed."

  • We love this condo.

"My friends and I have just finished our third extended stay at this condo. The unit is very clean, quiet and contains everything you need for a fabulous vacation including WiFi and cable TV. The condo itself is even better than the picture and has a million dollar view of the Caribbean and St. John. The pool and beach are a very short walk and are kept very clean. Beach chairs and cooler is furnished in condo for your use. The beach is great for swimming and snorkeling. Food is available on the beach at a open air cabana for breakfast, lunch and a variety of drinks. The Sapphire grill, a short walk up the hill, also serves lunch and dinner and has music many nights. The town of Red Hook is only a short taxi ride away and has an array of food, drinks and entertainment. Many grocery stores are a short ride away. We do not rent a car and have no trouble getting around. The $1.00 safari bus is available on the main road about every 15 minutes. With a little practice you can get almost everywhere on this affordable means of travel. This is an island of tourist so taxies are everywhere. Even though the taxi stand on site has been closed you can call one anytime of the night or day. Phone number for taxies available in condo. The rates are very reasonable. If you do rent a car ample parking is available on site. The resort is under renovation but this has no effect on your everyday activities and the end result will be worth it. AT&T has the only cell towers on the islands. All other companies must pay roaming charges which is very expensive. I bought a used AT&T Go phone for use on the island. The east end location of this condo is your gateway to St. John. A short ferry ride from Red Hook will take you to Cruz Bay and the beaches of St. John. It's like getting two islands for the price of one. The marina in front of unit has many boat tours available at a reasonable rate. We always take at least one boat tour on every visit. We have found the people are very friendly and see the same people come back every year. We feel extremely safe with the security at the entrance and security constantly walking the grounds. We love this condo and plan on visiting for many years to come."

  • 2 weeks of fun and sun

"We arrived at night so the WOW factor of the gorgeous view in the morning was high! The king bed was comfortable, and the pull out queen was heaven to a 9yr old. Plenty of closet space and drawer space made unpacking a breeze. The water pressure in the shower was stronger than I had expected, and very relaxing after a long day of play. The kitchen had everything we needed and more, we had brought a cooler of food to cook some of our own meals -- saved alot of money not eating out everyday. The view from the deck was amazing, we enjoyed using the loungers and relaxing with a cold drink after a busy day. The grounds and trails were nice, and would take you to a pool or little beach where you could either relax or snorkle. The resort staff couldn't be more friendly or helpful, this made the stay even better. This was the perfect location as a home base for all the nearby attractions, I would recommend a rental car but the free shuttle works great if you don't want to explore the island. I will be booking again for next year and can't wait to make even more memories!!"
