  • WOW is the only way to describe the view from this unit. It’s breath taking

"WOW is the only way to describe the view from this unit. It’s breath taking. Everything you‘ll need to spend the day at the beach is inside the condo beach chairs, cooler, snorkel gear and towels. If you are unlucky enough like us to have stay in due to rain storm during the evening don’t worry there is everything you need to make some painkillers cook a meal and listen to some music, I do advise bringing an auxiliary cable if you have a newer iPhone model . The condo is impeccably clean and well maintained; sugar beach is less than a minute walk from the condo also Panga’s and one of the 3 pools are within 2 minute walk. The staff that runs the Point Pleasant property now is extremely helpful as I just found out upon arrival they just took over on April 1st 2014. They assisted us with grocery shopping and even picking us up a few times from the red hook area. They operate a shuttle starting from 8am the latest we called for was around 8pm so not sure till what time the shuttle runs. Also they will pick you up from your condo and take you wherever they can drive within the property if you do not feel like walking or have limited mobility. Now about the booking process Ben was extremely helpful and it was very quick and simple no hassles. What you see in pictures does not do the condo justice really. It is closest to red hook out of all the areas to hang out and taking the ferry over to St. John is very easy. Also if you have any activities planned for early in the morning arrange your taxis the day ahead. I stayed for 4 nights with my 2 sisters and as you know us women can over pack. There was enough room for all our things. I will definitely stay here again in the future. Thank you for an amazing stay!!"

  • Great Views!

"Our family of six just returned from a week at Sea Sound Villa. We had a great time and would love to visit this home again. The house is clean, comfortable and accurately shown in the posted photos. The owners are easy to reach and are very helpful. Outside, the views from the large wrap-around deck are fantastic! There are several lounge chairs around the pool, there is a large table that’s great for breakfast or evening cocktails and around the corner there is a big hammock for napping. Inside, there is a well equipped kitchen, a dining area, a large living room and two large bedrooms with attached bathrooms. My two teenage children slept on the large sectional sofa and were comfortable. Below the deck, there is a smaller “apartment” that is perfect for a couple. We spent several mornings on Pelican and Sapphire beaches below the house. You walk down a paved road with a short hike through the trees at the end to access the beach. The road is a bit steep in spots, but my 82 year old mother was able to make it fine. There are lots of beach chairs at house if you want to take them along. We enjoyed the homes east end location. You are only about a five minute drive to lots of restaurants, bars and shops in Red Hook. We liked that the house feels secluded, but you can grab a quick lunch or run to the grocery store without lots of driving. Thanks Laurie and Denis!"

  • Comfortable home away from home

"We enjoyed our stay at Crystal Cove. The proximity to the beach was a plus and it was fun catching sight of the iguanas. If we were to do it again, we'd rent a car. It was just not safe to walk into town (Red Hook) because the traffic on the road is nuts and there is no place to walk. The Safari (local bus-$1 per person) is a great option but it only goes INTO town ... you need to get a cab back @ $5 per person. Closest grocery store is about 2 miles and very expensive. Again, you take the Safari there but have to take a cab back. Our favorite place to eat in Red Hook was Tap & Still.....great hamburgers and only $7. Great happy hour prices too! We also took the ferry to St. John. Wish we'd gone earlier in the day though.....so much to do and not enough time to do it. Only negative we had with the condo was the bed. While it was nice to have a king size bed, for us, the mattress was just too hard and the sheets slippery because of the type of mattress pad on the bed. It would have been nice to have room-darkening shades on the bedroom windows too because of the light coming from the parking lot behind the condo. Minor discomforts but enough to make a comment about. I would recommend this condo if you like hard beds because the rest of the stay was great."

  • The perfect way to spend a week!

"This villa is absolute heaven. I stayed for a week with three couples and it was the perfect way to relax and spend a week in paradise. It was actually hard for us to want to leave the house and explore the rest of the island! The house is comfortable, the accommodations were great for us as three couples each wanting our own space and bathroom. The common space was comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. The patio was also a wonderful outdoor haven and the pool was very refreshing. The house is in a quiet neighborhood and we felt very safe. The owner, Steve, was very fast with communication and answered all questions. The property manager (Gena and Brian - we only met Brian) met us at the property, came back to prep the house for a storm that came through, and were available by phone when we had questions. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. One note: it is not in walking distance of any attractions/restaurants (safely anyway, as it is at the top of a hill) so one would need to have a car or use cabs. I cant say enough wonderful things about our trip - it was hard to leave!"
