  • Great Getaway

"The Condo at Point Pleasant has an amazing view of the ocean and neighboring islands! It is higher up on the hill, which is nice for privacy and the great views. The location was perfect for us to explore many parts of the island. It's about five minutes from Red Hook, which has many great restaurants. It's about ten minutes to Magen's Bay. I would recommend renting a car to check out all the great places on the island. If you're looking for a great place to say, you should consider this condo! You'll enjoy a week in paradise just like I did!"

"Excellent location as it is only steps to beach. Sunrise is an especially beautiful time. Unit is comfortable and adequately furnished. Kitchen is accomodating for most cooks. Little touches such as spices and some basics was available. Unusual to have a dishwasher available in this complex. Have stayed at Crystal Cove many times and this unit fitted our needs the best. I would like to have had socks box for storing passports and small valuables. A music docking system and WiFi would also been great. Overall we were very comfortable. The owners were also very responsive to needs & requests."

  • Family Vacation: St Thomas Style

"We made our reservation via a mgr (Deb who partly owns one of the condos) who said that everything would be taken care of. While the Ritz Carlton Club was beautiful and worth all the hassles, I wish I would have made our reservations via VRBO. We paid Deb as soon as we found the condo and we did not have a confirmation until TWO WEEKS prior to our stay! She would not take a credit card and made us use "Pay Pal", instead of one of the 3 credit cards we had. Any way , her lack of communication skills aside the Ritz Carlton Club was perfect for our family vacation! My husband, our daughter and her husband and their 3 kids all had a great time! We even chartered a power boat and took a day trip over to St Johns! It is a family style place, not a romantic getaway. There are too many young children and teenagers even at the hotel and even when my husband and I slipped off to celebrate our anniversary, there were toddlers in the high end restaurant at 10:00 PM So, leave your elegant clothes at home and plan on relaxing with your family. Make your reservations here and not with an owner. The Ritz Carlton Club treats you like royalty. Be prepared, because the airport is a different story. You would never believe we are all American Citizens. On the flight in was fair. Returning to Florida was AWFUL!"

  • If you like the beach, this is the place!

"I won’t repeat all the positive comments so far, but can confirm they’re all true. Greg has a great, clean little place here and you can’t beat the location. He’s stocked a good supply of books if it’s just a few days on the beach catching a tan, and if you didn’t bring your own gear, he’s got a good stash of snorkel gear in the closet. Another huge plus, the snorkeling is fantastic here right off the beach. Our routine: wake up, snorkel, eat lunch, lie in the sun, snorkel, lie in the sun with a cocktail, hit the pool, head into town to find dinner – repeat 5 times. For some time out on the water, along with Greg’s recommendations for charters, I’ll add Yacht Nightwind which is also just across the parking lot in the marina. If you don’t rent a car, be sure to get a cab to take you the ¾ mile into Red Hook (cabs are not a problem here), stop in at Island Time Pub, split a salad and some wings and take home a 16” pizza for breakfast. Food Center also has some good roasted chicken as well as some local favorite dishes. We had a great time Greg, thanks for the perfect week. Be back in a couple months."
