"We stayed at the villa for a week and it wasnt long enough!! The house was amazing and had the most beatiful views. The pool was a great perk and was used every morning when we woke up and every night before we went to bed. The house itself was the best option for us as we filled every room. It ended up being far less expensive than any resort or hotel and it was all ours. We went food shopping at the local stores and had almost every meal on the enourmous covered patio. It is also one of the very few homes on the island that has air conditioning, which proved to be a necessity on more than on occasion. It's about 10-15 minutes from Red Hook, but was a very easy drive. I recommend renting a car because cabs can get expensive and not all cab drivers wanted to go to the house. The road to the house is paved, but not all cab drivers were aware of that and some were nervouse that they wouldnt get back up the hill. The whole island is a hill so it didnt make sense to me, but having a jeep was very convenient. I also recommend bringing a GPS as there are very few street signs. The property manager, Dionne, was very accomodating and and very down to earth. She made everything very easy for us and was an absolute pleasure. We have already spoken to her about booking another stay at Villa Isla Vista when we return. No matter how many times you look at the pictures on the website (and they are beatiful) nothing compares to when you actually see it for yourself. It's incredible!!!!!!!!"Guest: DOUGLAS P. "My Wife, 2 boys and I enjoyed our week at the Ritz Club in St Thomas. The Staff at the property are amazing. The condo was beautiful and had everything we needed. The owner, Ken, was great to work with. We were last minute on our planning and he worked very hard to make this vacation happen for us. He also provided us with information he has gathered about the resort and the Island over the last 17 years he and his family have been vacationing there. We had such a great time. We went fishing and caught 60 lbs of Black fin Tuna. It was so good. The Deckhand cut one up on the way back to the resort and we had sushi on the boat. We took the ferry over to St. John and snorkeled Trunk Bay which was rated one of the top beaches in the world. We took a boat over to Virgin Gorda and toured these huge rock formations called the Baths. We went too Cook island with a population of only 35 residences and had a great lunch. We snorkeled the caves of Norman Island where pirates hid their treasure. There is so much to do around the Islands and on the Island. We took a water Taxi over to Hassel Island where we rented a golf cart to tour the island. We visited the old WW2 Artillery Bunker which was very interesting and has great views. Then we Golf carted down to a beautiful Bay and ate a great meal at an open air beach restaurant and swam in the bay with the kids all afternoon. The Ritz Carlton Club on St Thomas is an ideal vacation for Families because it is located so close to all of the activities and has seperate bedrooms for everyone and a kitchen. We ate several meals in the residence. Their is a grocery store 5 minutes from the resort with everything a mainland store would have. We had maid service every day. They changed our linens mid week and we had turn down service every night. We loved our Housekeeper. She became part of the Family by weeks end. To sum it all up. The owner was great to work with. St Thomas is a great vacation destination with many activities to do and incredible beaches if you just want to relax. The Ritz Carlton Club is the most luxurious accommodation on the island. I couldn't think of a better place to Stay on St. Thomas. We will be back again."Guest: Anonymous Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: August 22, 2014View listing
"My friend and I were celebrating our annual girls trip. We chose this property because of its location, and affordability. We received so much more. Kim and Peter were so very nice, and easy to work with from booking to our final day. We arrived early, and the unit was being cleaned, and Peter kindly offered to give us a ride to the market to get groceries. We did not rent a car. The condo is exactly as pictured, and described by the owners. This was not always the case in my past experiences. We overpacked!!! The views were lovely. We enjoyed the walking, and exploring on foot. The ocean sounds were so relaxing, we never turned on the air conditioner our entire trip. We had a great trip, and would definitely return to unit 4A in the future. Our thanks to our hosts."Guest: travel buddies 2012 Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: June 24, 2014View listing
"The condo was in very good condition, right on the beach, on second floor, but only 6 steps up with a wonderful view of St John and it's only 5 minutes away from the town of Red Hook. The beach is good for swimming and great for snorkeling, saw many different types of fish, small squid and turtles eating in the sea grass just off shore."Guest: Vacation Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: August 22, 2014View listing
