  • Felt At Home

"My husband and I visited St Thomas for the first time to celebrate his 40th. The unit was ideally located to visit the most popular beaches on the island and was a short drive to St John Ferry to see the national park. The security on the premises was much appreciated since they handled a little situation between us and another tourist who hit our parked car. They took very good care of us. I appreciated very much the unit's art, location, comfort and cleanliness. It was so very quiet and serene. We ate at Panga's which is just down a few set of stairs and enjoyed the views. Also Redhook spots were so easily accessible. Perhaps we can return again."

  • Perfect St. Thomas Experience

"We had a wonderful time in Sapphire Village. The condo has everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. We used the kitchen to make breakfast every morning and had everything we needed. The balcony was perfect for enjoying the amazing view and enjoying meals and drinks. Sapphire was a short 5 minute walk and a very nice beach. For lunch make sure to check out the "Off The Grid" food truck at the entrance of Sapphire Village for some amazing BBQ. Red Hook is a short cab ride or drive and has great restaurants and easy access to the ferry to St. John. We will definitely come back!"

  • Best Vacation Ever

"My apologies for taking so long to write this review but the delay is no reflection of our experience. I must admit that when looking at the pictures on VRBO I wondered if any of the pictures had been photo shopped. After all, could the view from the patio really be so beautiful and the ocean so close? Let me tell you that the pictures are 100% authentic. The unit was exactly as pictured and described. It had everything you could ask for. It was the perfect amount of space for my husband and I. Everyone we encountered at Sapphire Beach was so warm and friendly. I personally enjoyed the proximity of the condo to the Banana Cabana where I could get a Tropical Explosion cocktail every day. Even though the pool restaurant was closed for renovation, the pool is open. I loved to relax by the pool watching the boats go in and out of the marinas. It was also a wonderful place to watch the St John 4th of July fireworks. The actual beach at Sapphire is gorgeous too. We particularly enjoyed the trees so we could get out of the sun. My husband did lots of snorkeling in the area right in front of the unit. Red Hook is a 5 minute drive away. Lots of great restaurants and shops there. We had a great time at the Tree Limin Zipline on St Thomas. I was a bit concerned since we are generally a couple of couch potatoes but it was a great experience. The guides are lots of fun but also very safety conscious. We also took the car ferry over to St John for a day. More beautiful beaches, yummy food and shopping. This was our third trip to St Thomas but previously we had stayed at Secret Harbor. I have nothing negative to say about SH but we have already decided that we will stay at this same unit at Sapphire Beach during our next trip. Chuy was always quick to respond to emails before, during and after our vacation. I especially want to thank him for being so gracious when we had to reschedule our trip at the last minute due to a medical emergency."

The view is fantastic and the residents are friendly and helpful.Steps away from the crystal pool and Sapphire Grill. Complete with beautiful weather...what more could one ask for?!"

East End Travel Tips

Situated just east of Puerto Rico, the small Caribbean Island of St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands is known for its beautiful beaches, shopping and dining. The quiet town of Red Hook with its red-tiled homes overlooking Pillsbury Sound has a relaxed atmosphere, uncrowded beaches and spectacular dive sites. Along the streets of this charming town, the Havensight Mall offers great Caribbean wares at duty-free prices and there is a surprisingly vibrant nightlife after dark.
