  • Another amazing trip to St. Thomas

"This was our third visit to Sapphire Beach and Hong's condo. I cannot put into words how much we love this place. The condo is very clean. And is supplied with everything you could possibly need. Great view of the beach and surrounding islands from the balcony. Hong has always been very professional and great to work with. Thank you for sharing your island home with us. Looking forward to Visit #4."

  • Highly recommend any of these units

"We (2) of us stayed just recently rented unit 2b for a week. (2nd trip ive taken to USVI and have over weeks of experience there) The next time I go to STT, i fully intend to stay here again. All the units really are 25 ft. from the ocean, never needed A/C there's a great breeze coming right off the ocean. I HIGHLY recommend this unit for any couple (or maybe if you have a small child it would be great too). Advice for success: 1- Rent a compact car. Take the money you save by booking these units and get a car. There are plenty of restaurants, bars, groceries, and the ferry terminal all within a 5 minute drive to Red Hook. YOU NEED A CAR. Other great beaches like Coki beach and Magens bay are also easily accessed with the car. 2-Make a trip to the grocery store, but check the condo first We cooked several dinners and breakfasts at the condo. Everything you need is there to do it, pots, pans, spices, dishes, etc etc. There is also plenty of other necessities, like sun screen, bug spray, soaps, cooler, snorkel gear, and plenty more. 3- Its a condo, not a hotel. If you have ever rented condos on VRBO you would know that they are just like having a small home of your own for few days. I read a complaint on trip advisor about these units because, essentially, they didnt have daily turn-down service. There are extra sets of sheets, extra bath towels, extra beach towels, etc. There is also laundry on site. We washed all of our towels, sheets, AND clothes through out the week to keep them fresh and clean."

  • Most Gorgeous View in the World!

"We have stayed with Jeff and Kristen several times in Texas, and following this past visit, they mentioned their condo in St. Thomas. WOW! We woke up everything morning, and had coffee on the deck overlooking clear blue water and 7 islands! Their condo is perched at the top of the Point Pleasant Resort, which has the feel of a Costa Rican tropical preserve. It is a bit of walk (5-10 minutes) from their condo down to the beach, but along the way, you'll see iguanas, tropical flowers of every kind, and lots of friendly people! We especially enjoyed the little restaurant down by the water (literally, you can walk from the restaurant into the water). This was an AMAZING family trip that we will never forget. Thank you, Jeff and Kristen!!"

  • Great sunrise!

"This was our first trip to St. Thomas so I selected this unit based on other VRBO reviews. We couldn't have been more pleased. Our building was closest to the beach so maybe a 50 yd walk. Great view of other islands, particularly St. John. Convenient to Red Hook, which is where you can catch the ferries to other islands. And there are lots of great restaurants in Red Hook so really no need to go elsewhere. Condo was comfortable and the owner was very accommodating. We only saw "Norma" (mentioned in other reviews) once during our stay but probably because we spent a lot of our time exploring. We did cook breakfast most mornings and the condo was outfitted to make that quite easy. If there is a negative, it's the iguana that lives in the tree that overhangs the back porch. He liked to leave little "presents". We never found a hose with which we could rinse it all off so just had to step gingerly. But truly a wonderful place to stay! Faced east so saw some gorgeous sunrises!"
