  • Home away from home

"My family and I truly enjoyed this clean cottage. Joanne met us at a hotel by the airport since we used a local rental car company. When we arrived at the cottage, Joanne gave us a tour and to our surprise we had everything we needed plus more. Even when my husband took the screen door off track by mistake, Ken quick fixed it without disruptin our vacation. We would stay here again! This place has a million dollar view."

  • Relaxing vacation on the beach

"We had a wonderful stay over Christmas, going to different beaches everyday for snorkeling and hanging out. Very relaxing but still a lot of variety with fairly easy access - but you need a car! The house is well equipped and we can recommend this place any time. /Family with two teenage daughters"

  • A quiet and secluded retreat that is central to everything.

"A beautiful condo. It feels like someone’s home, instead of a rental. All of the rooms are nicely decorated. The photos don’t do the view justice. We saw one rainbow in the distance and another that looked like it was right outside of the apartment. This is also the first rental that I have stayed in that I was not hot during any point of the day. There is plenty of cross ventilation due to window next to the front door and the apartment being located on the side of a hill. The patio with the grill and table is also a huge plus. The condo is at the end of a long road, so it was very quiet. The Mahogany Run Grill and the Olde Stone Farmhouse are close and worth multiple visits. There is also Simply Italian and the sports bar across from it, located only 5 minutes away. Be sure to visit Magen’s Bay Beach or Hull Bay Beach as a quieter alternative. The car ferry to St. John’s to see Cinnamon Bay and Trunk Bay is definitely a must see. Skip the Mandahl Market and Cost U Save (more like a Costco with everything in bulk) and visit the Tutu Park Mall ten minutes away. It has a bank, Walgreens, Kmart, Subway, McDonalds, a gas station and Plaza Extra, which is a full grocery store like you would see in the States. I was surprised this was not mentioned in the welcome packet. I would return to this condo and would recommend it to friends."

  • This is the place to stay in St. Thomas

"I really can't imagine staying anywhere else in STT. Gypsea is a beautiful, secluded private residence with great views. The roads are rough, but it is not a problem if you drive slowly and stay on the left. We had a small SUV, which worked just fine, but it wasn't a necessity. Gypsea is no more than 20 minutes from just about anything you want to see, except for Red Hook which is a bit farther. Our favorite place to go is Hull Bay for swimming and lunch at the beach bar. We would also recommend Tickles and Gladys' for lunch."
