"We loved every minute at your lovely town home. I can see this being a great spot to visit with family and friends. The house has everything you need for your stay. The views are breathtaking and location is very quiet. You are basically about 5-10 min away from Magens Bay and about 15 min from RedHook. We loved the Grill at the Golf Course and dined there 2x. For breakfast we would eat and buy lunch to go at the nearby Cork Coffee Spot. They have coffees and anything you may need for the day. I highly recommend staying at Pinapple Hill - You will not regret it!"

  • We loved the Villa Gypsea!

"Thank you so much to Chris and Jennifer for our gorgeous and relaxing stay at the beautiful Villa Gypsea! It was such a beautiful home and the view was AH-MAY-ZING. I can't say enough about that. It was such a joy to sit out on the deck or in the hot tub spa, listening to the waves on the shore below. We truly got our much needed R&R staying here for our honeymoon, after months of wedding planning. For new visitors - when you drive there (you pretty much have to rent a Jeep or other small SUV in order to get here, because I can't imagine having a taxi take you there....), do NOT be afraid of the drive. Once you've gone down East Caret Bay to the point where you turn left at those pretty white gates/stone pillars in the picture that Jennifer includes in the directions, you will start to wonder if you're still heading in the right direction. KEEP GOING. You will pass a cow on your right, and make a turn toward the right that looks like someone's crumbling driveway. KEEP GOING. A few more zigs and zags and you'll see the gorgeous stone pillars and regal black gate of the Villa Gypsea. I was nervous driving here, because of the different elements combined (driving on the left, narrow/hilly roads, house addresses not common), but once you find the place you will want to share it with the world - it's amazing! For a honeymoon retreat, it was exactly what we were looking for."

  • 35 th wedding anniversary trip

"There are no words for the privacy and views that Secret Gardens offers. Every morning we went to the Ratan Cushioned lounges on the veranda outside of our living room to enjoy our breakfast and coffee and spent many hours there reading, watching dolphin, the parrots, fisherman and yachts coming in to anchor at Magens Bay. If we spent the day at the villa, well I had to float in the infinity pool and enjoy the view as well, another private deck that overlooks the water. Great kitchen, spectacular bath, speakers throughout and outside allowed us to enjoy whatever mood we wanted. Werner was staying in town, so we had the added enjoyment of his recommendations, reservations, the private chef, out to snorkel and off to the BVI, on his boat. He went out of his way to make this very special for us. I can't imagine a better area to stay in because of the bay and how close we were to Magen's beach where we paddle boarded and enjoyed the famous "painkiller". One of our goals for this vacation was to unwind and what usually takes at least 2 days was accomplished by the time we awoke the first morning. It is paradise and it can be yours alone for the duration of your stay. The absolute best week of our 35 years was enjoyed in this lovely, secret garden villa. Thanks to Werner and those he brought to make our stay perfect."

  • Great As Usual

"We have been coming to St Thomas for 4 years now and this is our second stay at Villa Margarita. Along with the gated community adding security as well as the gorgeous views and easy access to the beach this is a must stay place when visiting the islands. We feel like we have found our second home and Jennifer is a wonderful host by always being available when you need her before, during, and after your stay. See you at the same time same place year after year!!"

Caret Bay Travel Tips

Caret Bay Vacation Rentals Are Perfect for Beach Lovers

To get to Caret Bay beach requires a short hike down a steep incline, but the seclusion the mildly difficult entrance provides is well worth the effort for those who can manage. A quick drive will get you to Magen's Bay, a local favorite that was lauded by National Geographic as one of the best beaches in the world. Magen's Bay beach has lifeguards, bars, snack shops, restaurants, showers, parking, and rental stands where you can get diving gear to take advantage of the snorkeling right offshore. Coki Beach has some of the best snorkeling on the island and provides services from hair braiding to beach waiters who come to your lounge chair. Cowpet Bay boasts particularly clear water and coconut trees.

Ocean Front Paradise at Caret Bay Villas

Some of the best things in life are free, and you will find that's true in the Caribbean. Starry skies at night, breathtaking sunrises and awe-inspiring sunsets, moonlit beach strolls, and the sounds of lapping waves and rustling palm trees are all included with many Caret Bay vacation rentals. Some even have private patios or are literally steps from the ocean, so you can enjoy the ocean related extras even more easily.

Shop Tax Free in St. Thomas' Port Town

Cruise ships often pull into this city on weekends to take advantage of all the local activities, as well as the duty free shopping. There is a generous duty free allowance for each visitor, and without tax, you can afford to splurge on the various fabrics, crystal and china, hard alcohol, and jewelry being offered. Local items are available too: brooms, handmade baskets and dolls, carved island wood bowls, spices, and jams. Near St. Thomas resorts are Havensight Mall, the downtown shops on Main Street, and Crown Bay Commercial Center—all waiting to serve your shopping needs.
