  • Excellent!!

"Mango Tango felt like a second home. It is very comfortable, clean, beautiful, and dream-like. I HIGHLY recommend this gorgeous villa to anyone looking to stay in the Virgin Islands! You are constantly surrounded by amazing scenery and views and you will hardly want to leave to enjoy other parts of the island because you will be enjoying it all at the villa. Pictures just don't do the villa enough justice! It is far more beautiful than what you see in the pictures!! This is a home that I will definitely rent out again!"

  • I have never felt more at home on vacation

"I teach at a small high school with a graduating class of 5. They raise money for four years to go on a senior trip and we were lucky enough to be able to afford St. Thomas and this beautiful villa. As soon as we entered the door, I felt at home. The villa feels like your family owns an ocean retreat and you dropped by for a visit. The living areas are spacious and comfortable, the kitchen well stocked but simple, and the bedrooms and bathrooms are laid out well. The main house sleeps seven comfortably and the detached cottage another four. The cottage is close enough to feel like part of the house, but far enough away to give four teenage girls their privacy. It is not quite spacious, but very comfortable. The house is designed to take advantage of the stunning views. There is a lot of open deck area facing east with great views of St. Johns, Thatch Cay, and Hans Lollik. A small Japoolzi is built around a rock right on the edge of the deck. It also looks out at the amazing views. We did not use the pool as much as we planned, but our dips were relaxing. There was a consistent breeze which kept the house cool in the evening. The landscaping gives the cabin a jungle secluded feel with the occasional iguana wandering through. It is located in a gated community and we had no qualms whatsoever of leaving our valuables in the open house while we adventured around the island. Spencer and Victoria are excellent owners. They were immediately responsive to our questions and concerns and worked quickly to resolve the few minor issues we had. Most of those issues resulted around island wide power outages and Spencer was up immediately with flashlights and candles when the power went out. Spencer also gave us very good information about where to go and what to see. Through him we found out Magen’s Beach, which is a few short minutes away, stops charging admission at 5pm. He planned our days around evening sunset swims at the beach and it was wonderful. We had the beach to ourselves and the water was delightful. Make sure to book Spencer for a cruise on his sailboat. It was one of the highlights of the trip. The driveway is steep with a sharp turn at the top, just like most of the roads on St Thomas. You will need a rental car, and get one with good clearance. It is a little bit of a drive to get to restaurants and attractions, but it is no more than 20 to 25 minutes away from downtown and Red Hook. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and recommend it highly."

  • Fantastic vacation!

"We had a large group stay for a week at Blue Horizons Villa. It had plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. It was very well kept and had everything that we needed from the kitchen to pool toys. We enjoyed grilling out and swimming every day along with the incredible views right off the back of the house patio and the pool deck. The sunrises and sunsets were amazing! Every morning was coffee by the pool, then wine on the back patio at night. The location was great because you could get to Magens Bay and downtown easily. The owner gave us plenty of information to make us feel comfortable before we arrived. We recommend this and will stay here again!"

  • A quiet and secluded retreat that is central to everything.

"A beautiful condo. It feels like someone’s home, instead of a rental. All of the rooms are nicely decorated. The photos don’t do the view justice. We saw one rainbow in the distance and another that looked like it was right outside of the apartment. This is also the first rental that I have stayed in that I was not hot during any point of the day. There is plenty of cross ventilation due to window next to the front door and the apartment being located on the side of a hill. The patio with the grill and table is also a huge plus. The condo is at the end of a long road, so it was very quiet. The Mahogany Run Grill and the Olde Stone Farmhouse are close and worth multiple visits. There is also Simply Italian and the sports bar across from it, located only 5 minutes away. Be sure to visit Magen’s Bay Beach or Hull Bay Beach as a quieter alternative. The car ferry to St. John’s to see Cinnamon Bay and Trunk Bay is definitely a must see. Skip the Mandahl Market and Cost U Save (more like a Costco with everything in bulk) and visit the Tutu Park Mall ten minutes away. It has a bank, Walgreens, Kmart, Subway, McDonalds, a gas station and Plaza Extra, which is a full grocery store like you would see in the States. I was surprised this was not mentioned in the welcome packet. I would return to this condo and would recommend it to friends."
