"My husband and I throughly enjoyed staying here for our honeymoon. Everything was clean and organized nicely. We really enjoyed the master suite - the space and decorations were great. Every morning, we would open up the windows and gaze out over Hull Bay to watch the sunrise. That gorgeous view is forever in my memory! The gourmet kitchen was great and had all the space and appliances that we needed, including a blender (perfect for making smoothies with the yummy produce from the shops in town). We didn't think about bringing bug spray, but thankfully there was some there as well as lavender lotion (a natural bug repellant) and some sunscreen. We really enjoyed relaxing in the pool and on the deck furniture. When we made meals, we enjoyed eating both inside and outside while watching the breathtaking sunsets and views.
Aside from the wonderful Villa Tryst, the location is superb! One of our favorite excursions was snorkeling. We did an epic night snorkel and all day snorkel tour with St. Thomas Scuba & Snorkel Adventures (http://www.stthomasadventures.com), and we highly recommend them! Be sure to bring extra sunscreen though! :) We saw sea turtles, sting rays, an octopus, starfish, glow-in-the-dark fish, a nurse shark (harmless!), and many other tropical sea creatures. It was awesome!
We shopped at the Fruit Basket and K-Mart. There are some excellent restaurants too! We are vegan and enjoyed vegan sushi, smoothies, fruit ice cream, and other vegan meals both near Villa Tryst and in Charlotte Amalie. But whatever your diet preference, you'll find so much to choose from!
We also spent a day exploring the island of St. John. While beach hopping and snorkeling, we saw stingrays and beautiful tropical fish. We also got to explore some old ruins near Watermelon Bay.
I seriously could go on and on about all the wonderful things about Villa Tryst and the beautiful location! I suppose the best recommendation I could make for it is that we want to come back. We want to come back so badly. Thank you to the owners for such a wonderful stay!"

"Working with Jennifer making the reservation, leading up to our stay and during the visit was great - she is the most accommodating host - and the Villa....... OMG - just amazing. The views from every room, deck and the pool are AWESOME. We literally felt like we were in paradise!!! The drive up in Peterborg, thru the windy, hilly roads just adds to the ambiance of the place. You really feel like you are in your own little personal heaven. Jennifer supplies you with everything you need, from dishes and glasses, to a cooler for any trips, and chairs and mats for the beaches. And getting to anywhere on the island from this home is a breeze.
The pool was our favorite part - we got up early every morning to watch the amazing sunrise from our bedroom and then went for an early morning swim. Then after coming back from the beaches, we would take a shower at the outdoor shower and get right back in the pool. And with the lights around the pool, an evening swim at the end of the day was a great way to relax after a day snorkeling.
All in all it was just amazing!!!!!! Would definitely try and stay here again on our next trip back."

"This was the second visit to the Villa. This time we stayed in the one bedroom one bath. WE had previously stayed in the two/one bath. . . both were excellent. The Villa's are well equipped, and the location is ideal. We spent most of our trip in the private beach but also waded/swam to the famous Magens Bay. Water is crystal clear, breeze was beautiful. Never had to use the very convenient air conditioning. We've been to St Thomas many times and I don't think there is a better place to stay. We brought our own portable rafts, but there are a few noodles available for use. The only thing we missed were beach chairs if you wished to travel over to some of the other beaches. That is the only thing we would have loved and buying them in St Thomas would have been rather expensive. But you really have everything else you need. WE purchased grocery's at "Cost U Less' which we found a better value than other food marts. The kitchen had everything you'd need. Even sugar for morning coffee. Fabulous trip, easy to book, owners have a gem!"

"We returned from paradise yesterday and We simply have absolutely nothing but positive remarks to make about High Blue Heaven. The house is amazing and the view is simply spectacular. Robin is one of the nicest and accommodating people we have ever met. We loved St Thomas. We spent most mornings and early afternoons out of the house seeing the sights and spent late afternoons and evenings at the house enjoying the pool and the sunset. We didn't come inside until it was time to go to bed. The constant breeze was so relaxing. We are already discussing when we can return and we would not think of staying anywhere else but High Blue Heaven."
