"There were six in our party - all family members attending my son's wedding. Although the villa is a little fr from some of the shopping and tourist attractions, one day on the road and we were experts at navigating the island. We quickly settled in, enjoyed the view and pool, and began enjoying the experience. Oh yes, we live in Honolulu so we're very familiar with paradise!"

"My family of four (including 13- and 9-year olds) enjoyed a blissful week-long stay at Villa Papillon. Hosts Linda and Mike are very friendly and informative, and happy to help with advice and recommendations. They are close by, so you don't have to worry about inattentive or nonexistent homeowners not returning phone calls. But they will offer you your privacy.
Linda cheerfully met us at a supermarket after we stocked up on supplies, and drove us through the twists and turns (and inclines!) of the roads on the mountains of St. Thomas. The gorgeous home is located in a gated community in Peterborg, which is on the peninsula that encloses Magen's Bay, one of the most beautiful beaches in the world (5 minutes away - no exaggeration). She and Mike have maintained the property nicely: the beauty of the views can not be overstated. The home is just like the pictures, perhaps even more beautiful because you cannot appreciate the comfortable layout in the photos. The home is remote and peaceful, and we didn't hear or even see neighbors unless we took out the binoculars. We grilled every day while still being able to be together in the pool/hot tub area on deck. We found a well-stocked kitchen with top of the line appliances. Beds were very comfortable. Bathrooms, though a bit dated, were clean and very functional with ample storage. The home is decorated like a real home, not like a soulless rental.
We went to Magen's Bay almost every day (we swam with a giant turtle there), but also made trips to Sapphire and Coki bays for better snorkeling. Be aware: parking is sketchy at Coki, and the surrounding areas are sort of rundown. But fish and coral are plentiful.
When we return to USVI, we will stay here again. We didn't even have to worry about mosquitos- the gentle breezes keep them away. Thanks LInda and Mike for a wonderful week!"

"Mango Tango felt like a second home. It is very comfortable, clean, beautiful, and dream-like. I HIGHLY recommend this gorgeous villa to anyone looking to stay in the Virgin Islands! You are constantly surrounded by amazing scenery and views and you will hardly want to leave to enjoy other parts of the island because you will be enjoying it all at the villa. Pictures just don't do the villa enough justice! It is far more beautiful than what you see in the pictures!! This is a home that I will definitely rent out again!"

"I teach at a small high school with a graduating class of 5. They raise money for four years to go on a senior trip and we were lucky enough to be able to afford St. Thomas and this beautiful villa. As soon as we entered the door, I felt at home. The villa feels like your family owns an ocean retreat and you dropped by for a visit. The living areas are spacious and comfortable, the kitchen well stocked but simple, and the bedrooms and bathrooms are laid out well. The main house sleeps seven comfortably and the detached cottage another four. The cottage is close enough to feel like part of the house, but far enough away to give four teenage girls their privacy. It is not quite spacious, but very comfortable.
The house is designed to take advantage of the stunning views. There is a lot of open deck area facing east with great views of St. Johns, Thatch Cay, and Hans Lollik. A small Japoolzi is built around a rock right on the edge of the deck. It also looks out at the amazing views. We did not use the pool as much as we planned, but our dips were relaxing. There was a consistent breeze which kept the house cool in the evening. The landscaping gives the cabin a jungle secluded feel with the occasional iguana wandering through. It is located in a gated community and we had no qualms whatsoever of leaving our valuables in the open house while we adventured around the island.
Spencer and Victoria are excellent owners. They were immediately responsive to our questions and concerns and worked quickly to resolve the few minor issues we had. Most of those issues resulted around island wide power outages and Spencer was up immediately with flashlights and candles when the power went out. Spencer also gave us very good information about where to go and what to see. Through him we found out Magen’s Beach, which is a few short minutes away, stops charging admission at 5pm. He planned our days around evening sunset swims at the beach and it was wonderful. We had the beach to ourselves and the water was delightful. Make sure to book Spencer for a cruise on his sailboat. It was one of the highlights of the trip.
The driveway is steep with a sharp turn at the top, just like most of the roads on St Thomas. You will need a rental car, and get one with good clearance. It is a little bit of a drive to get to restaurants and attractions, but it is no more than 20 to 25 minutes away from downtown and Red Hook.
I would stay here again in a heartbeat and recommend it highly."
