  • You'll never want to leave!

"Plan on never wanting to leave! We absolutely loved it! The studio was just perfect! The view breathtaking! Fun to watch the Pelicans. Saw turtles, lots of fish, so bring your goggles and snorkel! Easy walk in the water to Megan's bay or even the other direction to some other small beaches. Very quiet, hardly new anyone else was there. Enjoyed lunch the deck, although in the evening, just watch out for the few misquotes. The small fridge is plenty of room, but it would have been nice if freezer was separate. You can only get a half a bag of ice in it. And if you love boats...big boats...perfect spot to dream! Defiantly would stay again! Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful place!"

  • second visit . . .just as wonderful

"This was the second visit to the Villa. This time we stayed in the one bedroom one bath. WE had previously stayed in the two/one bath. . . both were excellent. The Villa's are well equipped, and the location is ideal. We spent most of our trip in the private beach but also waded/swam to the famous Magens Bay. Water is crystal clear, breeze was beautiful. Never had to use the very convenient air conditioning. We've been to St Thomas many times and I don't think there is a better place to stay. We brought our own portable rafts, but there are a few noodles available for use. The only thing we missed were beach chairs if you wished to travel over to some of the other beaches. That is the only thing we would have loved and buying them in St Thomas would have been rather expensive. But you really have everything else you need. WE purchased grocery's at "Cost U Less' which we found a better value than other food marts. The kitchen had everything you'd need. Even sugar for morning coffee. Fabulous trip, easy to book, owners have a gem!"

  • Unforgettable Vacation!

"Decorated with warmth and subtle charm, this home away from home is the perfect retreat for anyone wanting to experience island living on St. Thomas without feeling like a fish-out-of-water tourist. HBH provides an experience unlike anything you’re likely to have: inviting comfort and relaxation nestled on a lush tropical mountainside, coupled with stunning views of serene Magen’s Bay and surrounding areas below. The sounds you will hear at night from the forest are wonderful. Prepare yourself, as it will be very difficult just to tear yourself away from the view long enough to enjoy the other amenities this airy and spacious home has to offer such as an infinity pool, a sprawling deck with grill, a full kitchen with a dining / living room / entertainment area and two cozy bedrooms (the one upstairs has its own deck with an equally stunning view). If you do manage to get out to see the rest of St. Thomas, HBH is perfectly situated, a mere 10 – 15 minute drive to the popular locales: downtown/Charlotte Amalie and Frenchtown for site seeing, shopping and dining, Red Hook for more dining/nightlife options and catching the ferries to the neighboring islands and of course, any of the island’s splendid beaches. High marks for the level of hospitality this home has to offer – the attention to detail (beach chairs, beach towels and robes are some those perks) is evident throughout and Robin’s personal touch as caretaker (always accessible by phone or text) will make your stay all the more enjoyable. With a name like “High Blue Heaven”, you simply cannot deny that this property lives up to its name. It is a wonderful island treasure, hard to leave and certainly hard to forget. • Paradise

"To say this place was beautiful is an understatement. Words do not do enough to capture the beauty of Villa Eau Claire. We arrived in the early afternoon and were greeted at the airport by the incredibly warm and helpful Julia. She took us to the supermarket and then we traversed the hilly roads to arrive at our condo. The views are amazing. We swam daily with sea turtles right in the pocket beach on the premise. We walked down to the big beach and enjoyed some pizza and rum punch and we spent the days snorkeling and swimming around the bay. This location was perfect for our two teenagers 15 and 17 and our friends that joined us in the studio apartment below. The condo was open, breezy and had everything we needed. The studio can get a little stuffy when it's quite warm, but the air conditioner cools it down quickly. My husband developed a very serious tooth infection while on vacation and Annika the owner not only recommended a dentist, but also allowed us a later than usual checkout so he could rest before flying home. The only downside we experienced is no broom in the main condo (at least not one we could locate), but the people next to use let us borrow their broom. Oh and driving. Driving is a risky endeavor on the island, but one we adjusted to. We cannot wait to return to this little slice of heaven on earth!"
