Seniors Spring Break Trip with an Amazing SUNSET VIEW
"Where do you take 8 Senior Girls (with 22 other family members) for an unforgettable Spring Break trip? Magen's Bay, St. Thomas of course!
When you first arrive at Coral Gardens after a semi-harrowing trip from the airport via the narrow roads of St. Thomas, you are struck by the sheer size of this property. There are levels after levels, bedrooms after bedrooms, and kitchens and refrigerators and pools and a private beach. However, the most amazing feature is something that gets discovered as the sun begins to set on the first night of your stay...four levels of balconies facing the West! There are multiple perfect spots to enjoy the sparkling water as the light begins to fade. A true highlight of the Coral Gardens experience.
Werner and his crew provided some phenomenal meals and a fantastic trip to the BVI. Take advantage of those opportunities if you can! (The welcome BBQ and a meal with the private chef that could work ANYWHERE if he and his assistant didn't love making fantastic meals for groups like ours!)
Use Werner's recommendations on local restaurants, rental cars, excursions, beaches, etc...I think he knows everyone and everyplace on the island. Take a ride on TRIPLE SMOOTH (his boat) to anywhere he'll take you. Great experience and a great ride. Order pizza from a boat at Christmas Cove!
A Spring Break trip that will never be forgotten...thanks to Coral Gardens and Werner!"

"We just arrived home from our 6 night stay at Whispering Palms, and are already looking forward to going back. I can't say enough good things about the rental-clean, beautiful views, spacious, and centrally located (15 minute drive to either town or Red Hook). Joanne met us 5 minutes from the airport, making the trip back to the cottage easy for someone new to the area. She also gives great recommendations, and was always available to reach out to if help was needed. Great place for a wonderful trip."

"Plan on never wanting to leave! We absolutely loved it! The studio was just perfect! The view breathtaking! Fun to watch the Pelicans. Saw turtles, lots of fish, so bring your goggles and snorkel! Easy walk in the water to Megan's bay or even the other direction to some other small beaches. Very quiet, hardly new anyone else was there.
Enjoyed lunch the deck, although in the evening, just watch out for the few misquotes.
The small fridge is plenty of room, but it would have been nice if freezer was separate. You can only get a half a bag of ice in it.
And if you love boats...big boats...perfect spot to dream!
Defiantly would stay again! Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful place!"

"We loved the house. I cannot imagine a better view. Everything went smooth, and Robin is the perfect person to make sure your vacation is perfect. We would stay here again and would recommend it to anyone.
Location is in the middle of the island, so getting anywhere does not take that long.
Robin took care of us. The gas for stove ran out in the middle of the week, and she was there within 15 mins and had it changed and ready to go. She had warned us earlier that it might be getting low, so it was no big deal. The view is incredible, so we sat out every morning on the back deck where the table is perfect for outdoor breakfast. The house is in good shape and has everything you need. The towels and robes in the bathroom where thick and luxurious. We loved them. The house had wireless internet and cable, so it was easy to keep up with the real world (maybe I should list this as a negative :-) . We ended up eating in many nights, and they have a gas grill on the deck. We enjoyed grilling with a nice breeze and a beautiful view. The house is perfect for 2 couples, as the bedrooms are very similar. We did not have to decide who gets the master suite. Both were very nice.
The time we were there the island was very hot. We are from Houston, so we understand hot. The bedrooms are air conditioned, so sleeping was not a problem, but the rest of the house was very warm. The pool water was cool, so jumping in the pool was refreshing, but not that comfortable. We had considered heating the pool, but they would have only warmed it a few degrees, so we decided not to heat it. That may have been our mistake because I had pictured getting in the pool every night (and we did), just didn't stay in it very long. Strange how cool the water stays with the outside air so cool. The driveway is steep (and some of the roads), so if you rent a car, be ready. The first day or two, I was nervous about it, but got more comfortable every day.
Hopefully this gives you a picture of what to expect. The whole process of renting went smooth. Robin went out of her way mailing some things back we forgot (I don't want to tell you I forgot my passport there, but I did). She also took care of a few "surprises" before we got there that made a birthday very special. We would love to go back and would recommend this place to anyone. We are still bragging about how great it was to all our friends."
