  • awesome family vacation.

"Three palms was absolutely the perfect spot for our 11 family members. The home was comfortable and inviting. The view is absolutely as remarkable as the photos. Yes, the house needs a little sprucing up, but that did not matter one little bit. We had an absolutely incredible trip. We didn't want to come home. Thank you Spencer for rescuing us when we were lost. Navigation was definitely an adventure! I think next time we will have the kitchen prestocked for us. Trying to find a market was tough. We will most definitely consider staying here again if we come back to St. Thomas. Vicious and Spencer are wonderful hosts."

  • Such an amazing view!

"My husband and I traveled to St. Thomas to attend a wedding and rented Treetops with another couple for 5 nights. We have stayed at Sapphire once before, but we usually stay in St. John. We chose Treetops this time due to proximity to the wedding (Red Hook), but also the privacy of the North Shore. The road to the villa was tricky (as expected), but not too bad with a Jeep and an experienced USVI driver. We were very impressed with the villa... spectacular views and it was very well-equipped for all of our needs. In the past, we have found that we usually wanted AC at all the places we've stayed, but not so at Treetops. The "tradewinds" that we had never experienced before at other villas are actually one of the best features at Treetops. We didn't need AC at all and loved the open feel of the main level with all the screen doors letting the breeze blow through. We enjoyed total privacy and didn't hear much noise from neighbors or nearby roads... we did hear lots of roosters every morning though. It was fabulous to hang out by the pool and talk or just read a book and enjoy the surrounding beauty. The kitchen was well-stocked with breakfast foods and condiments, more so than any other place that we've stayed, and it was a very nice touch. We stopped at Pueblo on the way there to get bottled water, etc, but we could have easily skipped the shopping on the first day thanks to the property manager's foresight. There were nice beach chairs available for our use as well as some snorkeling equipment that we could borrow. The only advice I would have to other visitors is to be aware that there is an outdoor staircase to the lower bedroom. This was perfect for 2 couples and gave us more privacy, but if you are traveling with children like we usually do, you might want an interior staircase to the second bedroom."

  • second visit . . .just as wonderful

"This was the second visit to the Villa. This time we stayed in the one bedroom one bath. WE had previously stayed in the two/one bath. . . both were excellent. The Villa's are well equipped, and the location is ideal. We spent most of our trip in the private beach but also waded/swam to the famous Magens Bay. Water is crystal clear, breeze was beautiful. Never had to use the very convenient air conditioning. We've been to St Thomas many times and I don't think there is a better place to stay. We brought our own portable rafts, but there are a few noodles available for use. The only thing we missed were beach chairs if you wished to travel over to some of the other beaches. That is the only thing we would have loved and buying them in St Thomas would have been rather expensive. But you really have everything else you need. WE purchased grocery's at "Cost U Less' which we found a better value than other food marts. The kitchen had everything you'd need. Even sugar for morning coffee. Fabulous trip, easy to book, owners have a gem!"

  • Paradise! Absolutely Beautiful!

"This is the perfect little piece of paradise and Jen and Chris have adorned the Villa with beautiful accents in every corner. This VERY secluded, private villa has views that are breathtaking, an expansive deck, a Jacuzzi that is a dream and lovely little touches that make you feel like you are staying at a friends home – not a rental. And these friends have exquisite taste – the decorating is charming and whimsical with an elegant flair. We spent a lot of time outside on the VERY PRIVATE deck enjoying the sun, birds, tropical breezes and amazing views. The deck is also beautiful at night; we prepared dinner on the large grill and ate outside in the evenings. But we also had an amazing dinner out at the Old Stone Farmhouse – AMAZING truly gourmet fare in a setting that is just exquisite. We also went to Mafolie for dinner one night– which had incredible views, great service and a real island feel. Both were just a short drive from the Villa. The bedroom is a great size with plenty of space for storing your clothes and getting dressed. It is painted in a lovely shade of pale blue and the four-poster bed is adorned with organza netting and seashells – it is absolutely angelic. Everything about the Villa – is just a little extra special; the blue and cream bird themed tiled bath, the rustic but elegant furniture, little treasures of eclectic art in every nook – just gorgeous! All of the images posted of the Villa are accurate – but I will say in person it is even more beautiful. It is comfortable, well equipped, roomy and romantic for two and just perfect!"
