"My boyfriend and I stayed at Paul's place in November during a friend's wedding at Bolongo Bay resort. All of our friends were staying at Bologno, and we were able to enjoy all of the amenities with them - snorkeling, paddle boarding, the pool and our favorite, the pool bar! The gorgeous stroll from Paul's to the beach was maybe 1 minute. It was the perfect location for us. The apartment was quiet, with ample space and air conditioning, and a fantastic shower. Paul was a wonderful host and available if we needed anything. We highly recommend taking the Bolongo sunset catamaran cruise as seeing the island at sunset from the boat was breathtaking. We plan on visiting again, and enjoying the delicious rum buckets from Iggie's! My only recommendation for your stay is to bring bug spray - the mosquitoes were unwanted beach visitors."

FABULOUS STAY!! You cannot go wrong with this condo rental!
"Our first visit to U.S. Virgin Islands for a wedding and could not be more satisfied and pleased with our choice of accommodations here at Sue & Joe Giangarra's Watergate Villas East condo in Bolongo Bay!! Sue was just super with her prompt and courteous responses to email inquiries and securing the condo as well as her wealth of information and knowledge about the islands for our stay. Price CANNOT be beat anywhere on the islands for the location, living space, furnishings, and comfort of this condo!! For a family stay with 2 bedrooms/2 baths, kitchen and living areas as well as views and central location at Bolongo Bay, I and my family will definitely stay here again and again! Iggies is a great place for casual beach dining and the live music is just top notch! We rented a car for our week long stay and that was best for us, but if you don't it is very easy to get taxi service. The amenities provided by Sue and Joe in the condo CANNOT be matched by any hotel or other condos at a fantastic price. I just cannot say enough superlatives about how much we enjoyed our stay. We highly recommend Magens Bay, Coki Beach, Coral World (go on day when no more than one cruise ship is in port), Trunk Bay and Cinnamon Bay (St. Johns, rent a car and do r/t car ferry for a day...or 2!) and you must do a half or full day snorkel charter, we did two; The Cat VI (Marriot Frenchmans Reef) to Buck Island/Watermelon Cay National Wildlife Refuge for fantastic turtle snorkeling and we also did full day on New Horizon's and Breakaway Charters out of Red Hook to Christmas Cove and Honeymoon Beach (Water Island), both were well worth it. Thank you Sue and Joe for providing such a great place to anchor our first stay in St Thomas and you have made us a family of life long fans and return guest visitors to the USVI!"

"My boyfriend and I stayed at the Morningstar Villa for the month of February and loved every minute of it. The view from the deck is simply amazing--very colorful and lush. It was fun watching the boats and cruise ships sailing by as we were drinking a nice tropical drink. The villa itself is very beautiful, updated, clean and located in a great area. The kitchen has everything you need, and a washer and dryer is available, so pack light. Because we stayed for the month of February, it was like living in St. Thomas and not vacationing. We would have a leisurely morning and then drive to Havensight and park our car (at the Kmart). Everyday we walked to Charlotte Amalie to climb the 99 steps that led to Bluebeards Castle. In the end it was actually 150 steps, but at least we got some exercise. Next we would go to the beach--we love Lindquist Beach the most, but we also like Sapphire Beach and Magens Bay. We liked Brewers Bay for swimming, but it is not beautiful like the other beaches. Many times after having a relaxing day at the beach we would stop at one of the many bars that have happy hour. We really liked Duffy’s and Molly Malone’s in Red Hook. We did day trips to St. John for snorkeling at Trunk Bay and Cinnamon Bay is also worth going to. We took a ferry to Water Island, which was also very fun. The bar has great hamburgers!!! We normally had our meals in and found 2 great grocery stores. I think one is called The Gourmet Gallery (Havensight) and the other is Cost U Less. Cost U less is very similar to Costco, except you don’t need to be a member. The Gourmet Gallery is similar to Wholefoods. Great meat selection. I stopped frequently to make a salad from the salad bar. Kmart is also a good place to buy groceries like cereal, bread, snacks and alcohol. The Brownings put together a book of everything you need to know about St. Thomas--ferry schedules, restaurant reviews, menus, beaches, bars, charters, shopping, etc.. Make sure you read it to get greats ideas. If we ever take a trip to St. Thomas again, Morning Star Villa is the place we will stay!!! Thank you Leah and Scott!!!"

Southwind Villa - the perfect stay for a large family group
"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Southwind Villa, with its breathtaking views, the spacious layout and fantastic pool area. This was a perfect stay for our two families incl. 6 teenagers. The host was very kind - picked us up from the airport, guided us to the villa and gave us all the necessary instructions to ensure a very pleasant stay. I can only recommend staying at the Southwind Villa and would love to come back again!"
