"Renting this condo from Aaron was the smartest thing I've ever done in terms of family vacations. Soooo much more affordable than trying to deal with a resort and we got so much more bang for our buck! My family and I stayed here for a week (both my parents and my brother and myself); my parents shared the bedroom, my brother crashed on the futon, and I hogged the bed in the living room. All appliances you could ever need in a condo and some amenities left behind by other tennants (some spices, items under the bathroom sinks, and brochures and business cards from local restaurants and taxis).
While a little dated, this condo was clean and comfy. The condo is part of a multi-unit building overseeing Bolongo Bay. Be forewarned, Bolongo Bay is a rocky beach, not exactly something you can easily walk out on. Even down by the resort, it was rocky. Iggies' definitely made up for it, though. Was a nice, fun vibe place to hang out and get some great food.
I highly recommend renting from Aaron. Was a pleasant experience with everything, he answered every single question I had, and was very thorough in his details. I was extremely hesitant to go with VRBO, but Aaron just made this the best vacation we've ever had!!!! THANK YOU AARON!!!! :)"

"This condo has a perfect location and is nicely furnished. It is within easy walking distance to several restaurants, a dive shop, the beach and pool. It is a short drive to the grocery store and Red Hook. We enjoyed eating on the balcony and also watching turtles and a spotted eagle ray from the balcony. It's very nice to have a washer and dryer in the condo and also to have WIFI. We have stayed in this condo several times and each time it is great to be back."

"Beautiful location, amenities and owners that made our 24th anniversary very special! This villa was exactly as described, well outfitted with everything you'll need to make your vacation relaxing and stress free. My wife and I spent six wonderful nights in this property and having the owners nearby made our stay all the better. Don't worry about having them nearby because they don't bother you unless you want to interact which is extremely nice for privacy. They opened up their home to us and they did an amazing job preparing informational binders about where to dine, which beaches to visit and where to shop.
I highly recommend staying here and enjoying all the comforts of home for less dollars than the resorts charge. You'll have a full sized kitchen, outdoor grill, plenty on linen and air conditioning for chilling out after a lazy day at the beach. You'll also be extremely close to everything but secluded from the hustle/bustle of the tourist areas.
This home is beautiful!!!"

"My boyfriend and I stayed at the Morningstar Villa for the month of February and loved every minute of it. The view from the deck is simply amazing--very colorful and lush. It was fun watching the boats and cruise ships sailing by as we were drinking a nice tropical drink. The villa itself is very beautiful, updated, clean and located in a great area. The kitchen has everything you need, and a washer and dryer is available, so pack light. Because we stayed for the month of February, it was like living in St. Thomas and not vacationing. We would have a leisurely morning and then drive to Havensight and park our car (at the Kmart). Everyday we walked to Charlotte Amalie to climb the 99 steps that led to Bluebeards Castle. In the end it was actually 150 steps, but at least we got some exercise. Next we would go to the beach--we love Lindquist Beach the most, but we also like Sapphire Beach and Magens Bay. We liked Brewers Bay for swimming, but it is not beautiful like the other beaches. Many times after having a relaxing day at the beach we would stop at one of the many bars that have happy hour. We really liked Duffy’s and Molly Malone’s in Red Hook. We did day trips to St. John for snorkeling at Trunk Bay and Cinnamon Bay is also worth going to. We took a ferry to Water Island, which was also very fun. The bar has great hamburgers!!! We normally had our meals in and found 2 great grocery stores. I think one is called The Gourmet Gallery (Havensight) and the other is Cost U Less. Cost U less is very similar to Costco, except you don’t need to be a member. The Gourmet Gallery is similar to Wholefoods. Great meat selection. I stopped frequently to make a salad from the salad bar. Kmart is also a good place to buy groceries like cereal, bread, snacks and alcohol. The Brownings put together a book of everything you need to know about St. Thomas--ferry schedules, restaurant reviews, menus, beaches, bars, charters, shopping, etc.. Make sure you read it to get greats ideas. If we ever take a trip to St. Thomas again, Morning Star Villa is the place we will stay!!! Thank you Leah and Scott!!!"
