"Excellent property! Loved that it felt private while still having plenty of things to do. Pool and beach were great! So was the restaurant on the property. I really enjoyed the fitness facility too! Nice amenity. We had 11 in our group and had 2 two bedroom units right next to each other. Wonderful experience from my 7 year old daughter to my 73 year old father! We rented a car from Amalie car rental but enjoyed the convenience of having the shuttle to take us between the Marriott properties. Would definitely stay at this property again."

"Came with my wife and 2 kids (son 15, daughter 17) Easter/Passover week after spending many years at the Marriott's Surf Club in Aruba. The two bedroom suite was great, and the kids each had a queen bed and therefore did not have to fight over a sofa bed. We were able to get good seats by the pool as long as we went down before 8, and no one gave us a problem when we left our towels and other stuff to hold our chairs. The staff was courteous and helpful, and the grounds were clean and nice. The resort was very mellow and relaxing, and the crowd was almost all families. There were daily activities by the pool for kids and adults, as well as daily happy hour specialties. There is access by shuttle or by walking path to the Marriott Frenchman's Reef, where there is a spa and other amenities. There is also shuttle service to Havana Blue, the Sand Bar and one other restaurant at the Morning Star Beach Resort just down the road. I would recommend renting a car, which gives you the flexibility to explore the island and to go to some different beaches and restaurants you might not want to take a cab to. Hard to say if taking taxis everywhere would have been the same as I paid for my rental car, but we were glad we did it. We also rented a mini van, which I would not recommend given the hills and crazy driving on the island. Better off renting a jeep. All in all, great relaxing vacation, would highly recommend St. Thomas and Frenchman's Cove."

Private villa, lush grounds, and breathtaking views
"This house had it all. The views were spectacular! We would wake up every morning and congregate on the front porch (or by the pool) with our coffee to greet the day. We would peer at the cruise ships coming in, watch the various birds and even was graced with the presence of a double rainbow one morning. The house was fully stocked and supported the needs of six active adults. When we went to the store we did not have to worry about buying many staples, since they were already there. We did a lot of cooking at the house and had what we needed. The pool, the outdoor shower and the grounds in general were added bonuses. We spent a whole day just lounging at the house floating in the pool, cooking on the grill and wandering around looking at the beautiful landscape. The property manager, Leah, was a dream to work with. She made everything so easy and convenient for us. We had a rental car issue with one of our travelers and she got a car for us then delivered it to the house. When it was time to return the car she worked with our schedule for us to return it. We couldn't have asked for a better experience! I would highly recommend this property for its location (very convenient to town and the east end), the views, the privacy, the lush grounds, and the ease in organizing the rental of this place. We would stay here again in a heartbeat."

"I stayed in the Mango Room at Villa Marbella in mid September and had a fantastic time! Gunner and Leah are the best people you could ask for and the dogs are fun too. I was visiting my teenage daughter and really just need a small room that was safe and clean and the Mango room at Villa Marbella was perfect. The nightly rate was extremely reasonable and helped keep my trip affordable. The pictures of the room are exactly what you get – small but super cozy, safe, clean, everything you need. In fact we were the only people there for the last 4 days of my stay and Leah generously offered to move us to a larger room (at no charge by the way) and my daughter said no, she preferred the Mango room since it was cozier.
The room has a dorm-sized fridge, microwave and a hot plate type appliance, suitable for a single pan. Pans, silverware and cups were provided as was a Keurig and coffee. We had oatmeal, cereal, and sandwiches during the day and usually grabbed something out in the evening.
The pool was lovely and the grounds as well. We rented a jeep from them; which was a great decision. I arrived late in the evening and having them pick me up as a service included with car rental, was a great decision on my part. The roads are pretty steep and twisting and trying to find my way in the dark might have been tricky. Having them pick me up made it super easy.
I just can’t say enough about Gunner and Leah and their staff, Jack, Lexi and Jager the dogs and the Villa Marbella experience. As one last anecdote, the day I was leaving I logged into my bank account and noticed that a local grocery store had charge me $111.00 when my bill was actually $11 (big difference!) I asked Gunner about it and he was immediately on the phone with the store owner and took care of everything securing me accredit of the $100 overcharge. It was all arranged before my plane even landed back in the US. Thank you!"
