A day in the busy capital city, Charlotte Amalie, is a must during your vacation. The red-roofed, whitewashed houses make a charming sight. A pleasant escape from the busy resorts on St. Thomas is available just a ferry-ride away on St. John which is a far more laid-back and uncommercial island. Take a taxi tour around the island or relax on Trunk Bay Beach.
