"My man and I enjoyed our quick stay at this lovely condo. Check-in and out was super easy. The property managers, Alice & Bernie, were super helpful with anything we needed. The location is perfect for families and for accessing Red Hook and all the delights it has to offer. We even used the interior loop as a 1/4 jogging track. Only issue was the in-condo wifi. It wasn't operational when we arrived and the connectivity was never remedied. I recommend you get that one ironed out. Other than that small hiccup, the place was great. Thanks again for letting us enjoy your space."

"This was our first time visiting the USVI, and having this condo made this a wonderful experience. The condo is equiped with food prep equipment all the way to beach equipment. Great views out front window, and even out back window you can see the hills. The condo was clean with lots of room, and even 2 full baths! Nancy sent an envelope containing alot of info about the area, not only for sightseeing, but also stores to buy food, taxi service, and directions to places."

"We arrived after midnight at the condo by a shared taxi that took us to the right building in the Sapphire Village complex for $30 for 2 people. In the morning we found the view just as lovely as shown in the photos – the turquoise ocean with scattered green islands, a white sand beach and marina. We are balcony people and spent a fair amount of time out there eating and enjoying the view. The walk to the beach is around ten minutes but seems shorter. Sapphire beach is quite nice and usually not too crowded. The condo is certainly very nice and fulfilled all of our needs except for WiFi which was obtainable at the business office. Red Hook is very close, but yet so far. The only way to get there is to walk on the roadway or go by vehicle. The problem with walking is that near the condo complex the shoulder of the road essentially disappears for 200 yards of the journey. The last 50 yards are especially dangerous at night. During daylight hours, though, it is possible to slog for 20 minutes up the hill and be reasonably safe. If one does not want to walk in the dark, one gets stuck with a 5 minute, $8 taxi ride for two people back to Sapphire. Getting to Red Hook, on the other hand is easy during the day and the very early evening hours. One can flag a safari bus and pay the $1 fee. Safari buses only go into town and never go from Red Hook to the condo in the other direction. Our initial plan was to eat lunches at the condo using the food truck, but unfortunately, the truck has moved to a different location. As a consequence, we tended to go to Red Hook for lunch, followed by a stop at the grocery store to buy a carry-out dinner for the evening, and finally, trek back to the condo before it got dark. If one gets tired of Sapphire beach or just wants some variety, one can actually go to the main highway and walk to the right to Lindberg/Smith beach, only about a half mile away. And, the road has enough shoulder that it is not all that bad of a walk. We also took a taxi to the highly regarded Megan’s Bay. The ride through the hills was interesting and worth a visit. The best beach on our trip was Trunk Bay via ferry on St. John. We also took the rather pricey, but fairly good trip to the British Virgin Islands on the Breakaway charter boat that leaves from the marina at Sapphire. We found the East End Taxi drivers followed the island government’s rate list sheet for taxis. Yellow cab, on the other hand tries to bend the rates higher."
