"Using the descriptors: 1. Listing was accurate and showed us in detail the location and amenities 2. Pix were accurate. A bit difficult to really view but that is nature of these type of set ups. 3. House was clean, well appointed for our use and provided an attractive place to stay and use for our base of travel. I wish the roads were in better shape but glad that it was not my personal car that I was using. 4. Owner, agent and next door handyman were extremely helpful. My agent acted as go-between and I received all the info I needed and within a short period of time. 5. Definitely would recommend and have already done so. 6. Tree Limin Extreme, Virgin Island Ecotour, Kokopelli Cafe (lunch only), Pesce restaurant in Red Hook, Mongoose Junction in Cruz Bay to shop for inexpensive souvenirs and lunch, Honeymoom Beach and Cinnamon Bay on St John, Charlotte Amalie to walk and meet other tourists and a lot more that I can't remember since there was so much to see and do."Guest: marty Date of Stay: April 2014 Review Submitted: May 25, 2014View listing
"I stayed in the Mango Room at Villa Marbella in mid September and had a fantastic time! Gunner and Leah are the best people you could ask for and the dogs are fun too. I was visiting my teenage daughter and really just need a small room that was safe and clean and the Mango room at Villa Marbella was perfect. The nightly rate was extremely reasonable and helped keep my trip affordable. The pictures of the room are exactly what you get – small but super cozy, safe, clean, everything you need. In fact we were the only people there for the last 4 days of my stay and Leah generously offered to move us to a larger room (at no charge by the way) and my daughter said no, she preferred the Mango room since it was cozier. The room has a dorm-sized fridge, microwave and a hot plate type appliance, suitable for a single pan. Pans, silverware and cups were provided as was a Keurig and coffee. We had oatmeal, cereal, and sandwiches during the day and usually grabbed something out in the evening. The pool was lovely and the grounds as well. We rented a jeep from them; which was a great decision. I arrived late in the evening and having them pick me up as a service included with car rental, was a great decision on my part. The roads are pretty steep and twisting and trying to find my way in the dark might have been tricky. Having them pick me up made it super easy. I just can’t say enough about Gunner and Leah and their staff, Jack, Lexi and Jager the dogs and the Villa Marbella experience. As one last anecdote, the day I was leaving I logged into my bank account and noticed that a local grocery store had charge me $111.00 when my bill was actually $11 (big difference!) I asked Gunner about it and he was immediately on the phone with the store owner and took care of everything securing me accredit of the $100 overcharge. It was all arranged before my plane even landed back in the US. Thank you!"Guest: Romy B. Date of Stay: September 2014 Review Submitted: October 8, 2014View listing
"I would highly recommend this wonderful condo to anyone! It was very comfortable and clean!! Did spend the evenings out at the pool or on the patio just watching the little local ducks, hermit crabs, lizards, (big and small), and having the winds and surf sounds,,,truly wonderful! Hope to go back some day soon! I also experienced driving on left side of rode,,,was weird, but fun. My best friend flew from Washington State, myself from Ohio, we stayed for 8 days, had a great girlfriend time! Just want to say thanks to you Cheri for the best 8 days!!! P.s. the lady who takes care of things for you there,,,she was great! Thanks again!"Guest: Darlene Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: August 13, 2014View listing
