  • Magen's Valley Inn

"I must say that our stay, albeit short... Was wonderful. Leslie was continually in contact with me. Even when I had some difficulties with my travel plans. She and her husband werewarm, thoughtful and inviting hosts. They went out of their way to ensure we had a nice stay. This place was fantastic with a lovely kitchen (evertyhing we needed), a very comfortable bedroom, a nice sized shower and a wonderful screened indoor/outdoor room. We loved having our breakfast outside on the patio. These people are A++. Very highly recommended. Lastly, it was very very clean. :)"

  • Beautiful Place to stay

"This place was much more then we expected! It has two bedrooms of good size, and the king size bed has two small trundel's under it. The sofa has a sleeping pad on it, and we found it comfortable. The view is amazing, and the walk to the beach is perfect. Sidewalks all the way down to the most beautiful beach! The distance from the beachgoers was perfect. There was nothing lacking in our stay, and I would be most pleased to visit again!!"

  • Phenomenal setting!

"This condo could not be better situated. Directly out the front door is a little grass lawn, then a perfect beach, then turquoise water and beautiful scenery. We were blown away by the view of Saint John and the BVIs across the bay. There is decent snorkeling right off the beach. The waves and undertow are minimal - a big plus if you have little kids with you. Even on the big cruise ship days, the beach was never too crowded - plenty of chairs and space for everyone. If terrific location is your goal, you have found your ideal. We were there in late March, a family of 3 adults and 2 little children, 2 and 4. The condo has a perfect set up for a family. For us, having an upstairs bedroom for the kids was a huge plus - we wanted to be confident they were close to us and far from the front door at night! The condo is large enough that there is plenty of space to spread out and get some privacy. There is nothing fancy about the condo - furnishings are pretty minimal and a bit scruffy. Only negative - we were not able to get internet from the condo at all. We tried from every room, but were never able to connect. Luckily mobiles worked fine. If wifi is not a huge concern and you dont need upscale furnishings, I'm sure you will agree this place is a little slice of heaven!"

  • Oh so beautiful!

"We just returned from a 2 week stay at the condo and miss it already. The upgrades are wonderful, and you have everything on hand that you could possibly want. The view is astounding, and accessibility to St. John's is so very easy. We sailed with the Nightwind out of Sapphire marina, and Daydreamer from Sugar Bay, both are wonderful! We have rented this condo several times and find it always exceeds our expectations. A short walk to Sapphire Beach, or a quick drive to Coki or Megans are very easy from this location, add a good book and you are all set...I left 3 books we had finished in the condo, and borrowed one, thanks! Although a sinus infection sent me to the doctors in Red Hook, on a Sunday no less, I will say that I received wonderful care and was feeling SO much better in no time. Being an RN myself, I was impressed! Hope no one has to use it, but good to know how well it does work! Such a beautiful condo, hope to get back soon. Thanks Tom for all your help and recommendations!"
