  • The Best on the Best Beach

"My husband and I have been coming to STT and renting at Crystal Cove for over 10 years. I'm not sure how we missed renting this condo before this year! Brent and Claudia's condo is definitely one of the best! This condo was beautifully furnished and equipped. It was clean and had all the amenities of home. I especially appreciated the W/D. The safe was a definite plus, although we have never had any problems at CC. Plenty of plush towels and more than enough beach towels. There were spices, foil and plastic wrap in the kitchen; all very nice to have on hand. This is the first time we had beach chairs available. We took them to STJ for a day of snorkeling. We even managed to get the TV to work! Wi-fi was a huge plus!! Brent was more than helpful. He answered all our questions and responded promptly. The condo information spreadsheet has everything you need to know about the condo, shopping and where to go and what to do on STT. We stopped at Moe's market in Red Hook; it's a winner. They had very nice fruit and vegetables. It was much better than Plaza Extra. About every 5 minutes one of us would say, "This is so beautiful". And it is! Why go anywhere else? A 5 STAR week! Thanks, Brent and Claudia! We hope to return."

  • WOW -- What a view!

"I have been traveling to the USVI for many years now -- but it has been our first time back with our kids (ages 10 and 13). We really wanted to stay on the East End, close to the ferry and to Red Hook so we can enjoy the many beaches and restaurants the east end has too offer. But we still wanted to cook / eat breakfast when we wanted to. (Breakfast options are not plentiful.) Unfortunately, many resorts have been run down in the area. But not Cowpet! The villa was excellent. Updated, clean, and everything we could want. The location of the villa within the complex was probably one of the best -- overlooking the end of the beach -- but far enough away that it is totally private. We loved falling to sleep to the waves. The beach was truly a gem. Not crowded at all (unlike the Ritz next door), with no sea grass (unlike a few other resort beaches). Two top notch restaurants on site, and a place to rent water toys. The entire complex was well maintained, as the complex was gated and secure. Oh, the pool was great too! Nice and big, and tropical. Loved the little pool bar where we could watch a few football games while we enjoyed the beach/pool. My son snorkeled the bay almost everyday (even though it lacks a reef that would attract many fish). No worries though, plenty of great snorkeling at Coki and Sapphire -- all within a 10 minutes drive. I really hate writing such a good review -- as we want the place all to ourselves. But Bill was a great host, and we won't be back for a few years. He deserves a great review."

  • I miss it already!!

"This condo was fantastic! Kitchen and bathroom have been renovated, so it is a lot nicer than some of the other condos in this complex. We rented three condos for a family event, so two parents and two kids stayed in this one. The kitchen has lots of counterspace, an oven, and a small dishwasher; the location toward the end of the B building was very convenient, and in my opinion, had the absolute best views in the resort! Some snorkeling gear was available for us to use, which was great because Sapphire Beach is a prime location for snorkeling on St. Thomas. The biggest bonus of this condo is that it's a first-floor unit with direct access to the beach. The kids ran around all vacation--into the ocean, back to the condos, throwing a ball on the beach, to the pool--such a great trip! Furthermore, the beach is not crowded and the resort is quite safe. There is a small cabana for breakfast and lunch (good food), and servers will bring it right to you on the beach if you want. The water is warm and lovely and the views are breathtaking. Loved it! Try renting jetskis in the marina on site--the owner/operator is great! Red Hook is a 5-minute drive (or bus ride) away. We finally got our rental cars for shopping and getting around the island, but be forewarned--if you arrive at night and aren't familiar with St. Thomas (they drive on the left and roads are very narrow, steep, and curvy), take a cab to the resort and rent a car the next day. I will totally go back to Sapphire Beach!! Thanks Chuy, for sharing your fantastic condo with us!!"

  • second visit . . .just as wonderful

"This was the second visit to the Villa. This time we stayed in the one bedroom one bath. WE had previously stayed in the two/one bath. . . both were excellent. The Villa's are well equipped, and the location is ideal. We spent most of our trip in the private beach but also waded/swam to the famous Magens Bay. Water is crystal clear, breeze was beautiful. Never had to use the very convenient air conditioning. We've been to St Thomas many times and I don't think there is a better place to stay. We brought our own portable rafts, but there are a few noodles available for use. The only thing we missed were beach chairs if you wished to travel over to some of the other beaches. That is the only thing we would have loved and buying them in St Thomas would have been rather expensive. But you really have everything else you need. WE purchased grocery's at "Cost U Less' which we found a better value than other food marts. The kitchen had everything you'd need. Even sugar for morning coffee. Fabulous trip, easy to book, owners have a gem!"
