  • An absolutely perfect paradise getaway!

"This condo is the perfect place to unwind and experience the perfect relaxing vacation. First of all, I cannot say enough about Peter and Kim...they were so welcoming and helpful with directions and advice! They even dropped by before our arrival to turn on the AC for us! The condo itself was extremely clean and stocked with everything you'd need for the beach! (Snorkeling gear, beach towels, several coolers, chairs and even binoculars!) The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, silverware, pots, pans, and everything you'd need for cooking or blending frozen drinks! The condo also came equipped with wifi, satellite TV, DVD player, books and games....basically everything you'd need to feel right at home! The unit comes equipped with two awesome AC units and a bed that is just heavenly!! We slept better than we have in years! As for the outside, there are two separate balconies for eating breakfast or waking to have coffee off your bedroom....both have AMAZING views! We always felt very safe at the location! It's the perfect spot as it's a five minute trip into Red Hook and has several really nice beaches within walking distance! We would recommend the beach at Secret Harbour which is right up the street! If you rent a car, which was a huge plus, then it's a short drive into town to take the car ferry to St. John (a must do) I know for a fact that if....I mean WHEN we return to St. Thomas, we will call Peter and Kim and stay here again! It was the perfect getaway!"

  • Outstanding Room!!!!

"Okay, it's only taken 6 months to post a room report, but here goes... We have visited St. Thomas every year since 1999. We have stayed at various resorts & last year decided to try Point Pleasant when we saw a video clip of room E6. The video was not deceiving. E6 was clean and a very functional room with galley kitchen, all of the glass wear, utensils, dishes, pots & pans, dining table and, sitting area. The deck had a table & 2 lounge chairs to take in the view. Our flight from Chicago was delayed and, by the time we arrived at Point Pleasant, it was dark & raining. We were not able to see much from the deck at that time, but in the morning we were treated to a gorgeous view. We were very pleased with the idea of NOT needing much air conditioning. We would set the AC timer for about 1 hr when we returned at days end. With the help of ceiling fans, we were very comfortable through the night after the AC turned off. Once watching the sunrise on our 1st day, we made it a point to wake early, open 2 of the 3 sliding glass doors and, listen to the waves crashing against the shore line a short distance below, while enjoying a wonderful cross breeze flowing through the room. We left the sliders open until we reluctantly closed them when we left the room to visit friends and explore the island. The grounds at the resort have some very steep hills, but from the room, it was a short walk down to a very small, private beach area tucked against the hillside. Just outside of the room door, walking down a few more stairs will take you to the well kept pool...very refreshing on a hot day! During our trip, the restaurant and bar just below the pool were closed as they were remodeling for the new owners to reopen shortly after we returned home. The other restaurant on the property was not open and, we are unsure if they have since reopened. We are familiar with the island and know of many restaurants where we go to eat so, this did not present a problem except for the first evening. We arrived a bit late, we were hungry and, tired. We did not feel like going back out so, we did as you would do at home...call to have a pizza delivered! No problems!!! We truly love St. Thomas & the islanders. We were thrilled with "our" room last year, so were very excited to find out it was open for rental again this year! We are now counting down the days until we return to the island and, yes, staying at Point Pleasant in room E6!!!"

  • Amazing!!!!!

"My husband and I went with friends to St. Thomas last week and had the pleasure of staying at Treetops. The property was beautiful, to say the least. The views were unbelievable from the balcony and living spaces. We also really enjoyed the pool and utilized the brand new grill several times. The home was very clean and beautifully decorated. Cindie, the caretaker, was so helpful! She was very friendly and gave us lots of advice during our stay at St. Thomas. Though it wasn't an issue for us, the driveway is very steep. We rented a Toyota corolla that got up the hill just fine, but it was a bit surprising during the first trip up. A taxi van also refused to pick us up on top of the hill for a wedding we were attending- definitely rent a car! We felt strongly that the trip up the driveway was worth the stay and the view!!!! "Excellent location as it is only steps to beach. Sunrise is an especially beautiful time. Unit is comfortable and adequately furnished. Kitchen is accomodating for most cooks. Little touches such as spices and some basics was available. Unusual to have a dishwasher available in this complex. Have stayed at Crystal Cove many times and this unit fitted our needs the best. I would like to have had socks box for storing passports and small valuables. A music docking system and WiFi would also been great. Overall we were very comfortable. The owners were also very responsive to needs & requests."
