  • Private, Quiet with a Beautiful View!

"I had the opportunity to stay at this condo for nine days along with my fiancé and we had a wonderful stay. The property is located off the beaten path, is very quiet yet close to Red Hook amenities such as restaurants, bars, stunning beaches, ferry to St John and most things we needed. It was very clean and nicely decorated. Everyone we came into contact was very friendly. There was a small market in Red Hook that has closed but there is a bigger supermarket located slightly west and is about a five minute drive. A car is almost a necessity here although cabs will respond. The unit was stocked with everything we needed and there were no problems at all. Dawn was responsive to our questions before the trip and everything went as planned. We loved sleeping with the doors open and hearing the waves lap at the shore very close by. The unit has AC but we seldom used it because we liked the night sounds so much. This is my fourth stay in St Thomas and I love it very much. We took walks every morning which allowed us to see some other very interesting properties as well as scenic vistas very close by. If you have never been, you will be amazed at the scenery along with St John. We rented from Avis which allows cars on the ferry to St John. Parking in Red Hook can be a challenge but there is a free underground parking garage that we found after a few days, take a right at the sign for Molly Malone’s if heading east just as you enter the center. Our favorite beach is Lindquist which is located between Sapphire and Coki. The water is crystal clear for good snorkeling, bring a cooler. Secret Harbor is a good place for a snorkel and a sunset cocktail and is very close by the condo , it is calm and protected if there is too much wind at the east facing beaches. Red Hook is a blast and we will return and stay in this property again, it is a great value. Thanks Dawn, Jay and Wendie Newport, RI"

  • Seascape

"This was a very fun little cottage. The pictures don't do it justice. The beach is very private and is pretty good size. That is a huge plus. It is a nice cottage with adequate space and good size bedrooms. The decks are wonderful. It was nice to watch the cruise ships both during the day and during the night when they are all lit up. We used the cottage as a home base and visited many of the popular beaches on St. Thomas and St. John. It is also close to the shopping. But Lime Tree Beach is a great beach to hang out at all day. The only thing I wish I knew about earlier was the roosters which start crowing around 6. This was not an issue for me as I enjoy getting up early. However it would be an adjustment for people that like to sleep in. My teenagers adapted pretty well. We just went to bed a little earlier. Overall Seascape was a super find and we wouldn't hesitate to stay there again."

  • 3 Generation Christmas Present

"We stayed at this property over the week of New Year's as our family Christmas present and it was perfect! My oldest daughter and her two sons took up residence in the loft, my husband and I slept in the master bedroom, and our other daughter had the other bedroom on the main floor. The view from the living room and patio was wonderful as you looked to the water and several islands. Having a washer and dryer in the unit was very helpful and there were an adequate number of beach towels, a cooler, beach toys, etc for picnics at the beaches. The only thing we wished we had known earlier in the week was that the yacht club next door had a restaurant and bar open to anyone. The location was good for us as we generally don't like to be in crowded, overly commercialized areas, this end of the island is quieter but still very close to Red Hook with the ferry service to St. John, and Coki beach, along with several other pretty beaches with good snorkeling. Should we has an opportunity to return to St. Thomas, we will definitely stay at this property."

  • The relaxing getaway we were looking for

"My husband and I spent a week here and can't wait to plan our next visit! Starting your day with coffee on the porch with the most amazing views was easy to get used to. The apartment was well furnished, with everything we could possibly need. You won't find a better view in Red Hook. The walk down the hill to town wasn't too bad at all. You are so close to lots of restaurants, but I definitely recommend renting a car. We spent a lot of time at Sapphire beach, which was a 5 minute drive away and a relatively quiet beach. You have to book a sailing trip with Max, because it is hands down the best thing you can do on your visit. We spent our mornings and evenings on the porch taking in the views and enjoying the company of Eva, the resident pup. The bird watching from Lion's Gate is pretty good also. Anything we needed, Max helped us with right away. We are already anticipating our next visit, it is absolutely a slice of paradise at Lion's Gate, you won't be disappointed."
