  • Paradise - 40th Anniversary and 60th Birthday Celebration!

"My husband and I arrived after dark and Norma(the caretaker) had the lights and music on to welcome us which we so appreciated! The condo was lovely, kitchen well equipped and bed very comfortable. The beautiful Sapphire Beach is just steps away, beach chairs were always available and the snorkeling was awesome. Pam(the owner) was so very nice to work with. We have wonderful memories of our time spent there. We definitely hope to come again."

  • Love This Place!!

"Our stay in St. Thomas was wonderful. We stayed at a condo in the Sapphire Beach Resort we rented from Paradise at the Beach. The location was perfect. The condo was on the 2nd floor, which I thought might be an inconvenience, but it was actually better than the 1st floor. With the higher elevation we were able to enjoy the beautiful view of the beach and the bay every morning when we woke up. The condo was clean and quiet. There were plenty of towels and dishes for our needs. The owners also provide snorkel gear, which looked to be brand new. And speaking of the owners, I have to say how wonderful Jeff was in assisting us during our stay. My husband had to have emergency surgery a few weeks before our trip and I forgot to make car reservations. By the time I tried to make reservations, all the car companies were completely booked. I called Jeff and he was able to quickly get us a reservation. Jeff also was quick to respond when we needed assistance finding things around the condo. He also was able to help us with the rental car after our departure. I can't say enough about how attentive and helpful he was for us. Our visit to St. Thomas was our first. We took a trip to St. John's for a tour of the island. I would recommend taking the ferry over and asking one of the taxi drivers for a tour. The cost was $25 pp, but was very well worth it. The gentleman that gave us the tour had lived on the island since 1956 and helped build the infrastructures there. We also took an all day sail with Alaunt Charters. That was wonderful. Ron and Carol, the owners, gave us a private tour around the islands and took us out for our first snorkel trip. I highly recommend them. We loved our trip to St. Thomas and can't wait to come back. We would definitely stay at Sapphire Beach again."

  • There's no place like home.....except here!

"New England winters can be filled with snow.........lots of snow. So again I traveled to St. Thomas to get a healthy dose of vitamin D, recharge my batteries, and re-connect with my inner beach bum. This year I found Nazareth Hideaway located close to Redhook and near Secret Harbor. It has the perfect mixture of serenity, privacy, and local flavor. Jan was a delight to discuss plans with and ask questions over the phone. My niece and I found the deck to be spacious and comfortable for relaxing and sunbathing in the gentle breeze. It is perfect for the early morning sun goddess (me) to bask in the sun and reflect on life while the roosters awaken the island. The bedroom is comfortable and the fan a delight for those who may need a few more zzz's. The kitchen has everything you need to re-heat your tasty ITP pizza, cook a meal, keep frosty beverages on hand, and even make coffee to start your day off. You can enjoy the couch inside and watch tv, but I preferred the deck chairs and watching the sun roam across the sky. I was only disappointed to not connect with Jan in person as she was off with the Paralympic sailing team in Miami while we were in town. Thanks to New England's weather patterns (Yay! - snow storms are fun when you are here!) our stay was extended and we were able to meet and enjoy Jan's company. She was a gracious hostess and filled with ideas if we needed them. A person you would love to chat over a glass of wine with anytime. (thanks for the wine!) She was key to our smooth transition for extra days of lodging. We appreciated her help and felt so lucky that we didn't even have to worry or scramble around. Instead, we were able to relish our two extra days of deliciously hot sun, warm turquoise waters, and cold banana rum. Ahhhh.......until the islands call me back again............thank you for a wonderful stay. I look forward to another return to visit with Jan. Staying at Nazareth Hideaway allows you a comfortable space to relax when you need a little "me" time. I'll be back..........."

  • St.Thomas-Beachfront Condo

"This condo and its owner/host could not have been more awesome :-) The location and view was one of - no IS the most beautiful place we have ever stayed...The condo itself is clean and well appointed-it has EVERYTHING you need to have a restful stay..It feels more like a cottage-decorated in a fresh uncluttered way that is warm-not stark Or sterile a hotel...we chose to just hang out-it was too perfect to leave!! We attended 1 party & the wedding itself-friends came over & were so jealous!! The price was less & the view/amenities better than where they were all staying .We did not rent a car-took a cab to the local market -and hunkered down to read and rest... Perfect weather -quiet tropical breezes -never used the AC-We called the owner several times-he was so warm & friendly -made us feel so welcome & cared for - There are no words that give justice to the view - nothing short of AMAZING..there is nothing between you and the horizon - it literally is like a postcard -I will post some pics that show the view from the patio/deck, which is where we ate daily, we plan to go back yearly-was very VERY hard to leave!! Also we had the pleasure of meeting Ex-pat Katherine, now a permanent islander. She is lovely-her energy - enthusiasm was contagious :-) She was also a great resource for things to do & places to go-perhaps next trip we will take advantage of.... On the other hand - I was so content to be right where I was - in a real paradise:-) Thanks Benard!!"
