"This condo was fantastic! Kitchen and bathroom have been renovated, so it is a lot nicer than some of the other condos in this complex. We rented three condos for a family event, so two parents and two kids stayed in this one. The kitchen has lots of counterspace, an oven, and a small dishwasher; the location toward the end of the B building was very convenient, and in my opinion, had the absolute best views in the resort! Some snorkeling gear was available for us to use, which was great because Sapphire Beach is a prime location for snorkeling on St. Thomas. The biggest bonus of this condo is that it's a first-floor unit with direct access to the beach. The kids ran around all vacation--into the ocean, back to the condos, throwing a ball on the beach, to the pool--such a great trip! Furthermore, the beach is not crowded and the resort is quite safe. There is a small cabana for breakfast and lunch (good food), and servers will bring it right to you on the beach if you want. The water is warm and lovely and the views are breathtaking. Loved it! Try renting jetskis in the marina on site--the owner/operator is great! Red Hook is a 5-minute drive (or bus ride) away. We finally got our rental cars for shopping and getting around the island, but be forewarned--if you arrive at night and aren't familiar with St. Thomas (they drive on the left and roads are very narrow, steep, and curvy), take a cab to the resort and rent a car the next day. I will totally go back to Sapphire Beach!! Thanks Chuy, for sharing your fantastic condo with us!!"Guest: Jen L. Date of Stay: December 2014 Review Submitted: January 5, 2015View listing
"Our family of six just returned from a week at Sea Sound Villa. We had a great time and would love to visit this home again. The house is clean, comfortable and accurately shown in the posted photos. The owners are easy to reach and are very helpful. Outside, the views from the large wrap-around deck are fantastic! There are several lounge chairs around the pool, there is a large table that’s great for breakfast or evening cocktails and around the corner there is a big hammock for napping. Inside, there is a well equipped kitchen, a dining area, a large living room and two large bedrooms with attached bathrooms. My two teenage children slept on the large sectional sofa and were comfortable. Below the deck, there is a smaller “apartment” that is perfect for a couple. We spent several mornings on Pelican and Sapphire beaches below the house. You walk down a paved road with a short hike through the trees at the end to access the beach. The road is a bit steep in spots, but my 82 year old mother was able to make it fine. There are lots of beach chairs at house if you want to take them along. We enjoyed the homes east end location. You are only about a five minute drive to lots of restaurants, bars and shops in Red Hook. We liked that the house feels secluded, but you can grab a quick lunch or run to the grocery store without lots of driving. Thanks Laurie and Denis!"Guest: T. "My man and I enjoyed our quick stay at this lovely condo. Check-in and out was super easy. The property managers, Alice & Bernie, were super helpful with anything we needed. The location is perfect for families and for accessing Red Hook and all the delights it has to offer. We even used the interior loop as a 1/4 jogging track. Only issue was the in-condo wifi. It wasn't operational when we arrived and the connectivity was never remedied. I recommend you get that one ironed out. Other than that small hiccup, the place was great. Thanks again for letting us enjoy your space."Guest: Love VRBOs Date of Stay: January 2015 Review Submitted: January 14, 2015View listing
