"Our family has stayed at the Blazing Villa several times over past two years. It was always lovely, comfortable and had everything our family of four would have asked for. The villa is spacious and all the bedrooms are tastily decorated. The kitchen was well equipped with modern appliances. The floor plan is open and well-thought of. The location of the villa is very convenient. It is close to many local attractions and activities. Marianne and Mark have thought of everything and was wonderful to work with. They were quick to respond to any questions we had while setting up the trip. When we arrived the villa, it was clean and spotless. Veronica took excellent care of the property and was always responsive when we had any questions. I would recommend this property to family or couples who are looking for a peaceful getaway."Guest: Suzanne L. Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: October 15, 2014View listing
"We (2) of us stayed just recently rented unit 2b for a week. (2nd trip ive taken to USVI and have over weeks of experience there) The next time I go to STT, i fully intend to stay here again. All the units really are 25 ft. from the ocean, never needed A/C there's a great breeze coming right off the ocean. I HIGHLY recommend this unit for any couple (or maybe if you have a small child it would be great too). Advice for success: 1- Rent a compact car. Take the money you save by booking these units and get a car. There are plenty of restaurants, bars, groceries, and the ferry terminal all within a 5 minute drive to Red Hook. YOU NEED A CAR. Other great beaches like Coki beach and Magens bay are also easily accessed with the car. 2-Make a trip to the grocery store, but check the condo first We cooked several dinners and breakfasts at the condo. Everything you need is there to do it, pots, pans, spices, dishes, etc etc. There is also plenty of other necessities, like sun screen, bug spray, soaps, cooler, snorkel gear, and plenty more. 3- Its a condo, not a hotel. If you have ever rented condos on VRBO you would know that they are just like having a small home of your own for few days. I read a complaint on trip advisor about these units because, essentially, they didnt have daily turn-down service. There are extra sets of sheets, extra bath towels, extra beach towels, etc. There is also laundry on site. We washed all of our towels, sheets, AND clothes through out the week to keep them fresh and clean."Guest: Steve L. Date of Stay: January 2015 Review Submitted: January 27, 2015View listing
"Rented from Jeff again. Stress free arrangements. He's very knowledgeable of the area and recommended restaurants and tours. Stress free process with this owner made everything easy, easy, easy! BEST vacation EVER ... as usual. We spent the week from Christmas to the New Year at this awesome location. The accommodations far exceed what one would expect. Absolutely beautiful, beyond clean, staff was extremely helpful and the owner (Jeff) is the BEST to deal with. Weather was picture perfect! I can assure you this location will be one of our annual vacation locations. Highly recommended!"Guest: Terrie Date of Stay: December 2014 Review Submitted: January 5, 2015View listing
"Our family of six just returned from a week at Sea Sound Villa. We had a great time and would love to visit this home again. The house is clean, comfortable and accurately shown in the posted photos. The owners are easy to reach and are very helpful. Outside, the views from the large wrap-around deck are fantastic! There are several lounge chairs around the pool, there is a large table that’s great for breakfast or evening cocktails and around the corner there is a big hammock for napping. Inside, there is a well equipped kitchen, a dining area, a large living room and two large bedrooms with attached bathrooms. My two teenage children slept on the large sectional sofa and were comfortable. Below the deck, there is a smaller “apartment” that is perfect for a couple. We spent several mornings on Pelican and Sapphire beaches below the house. You walk down a paved road with a short hike through the trees at the end to access the beach. The road is a bit steep in spots, but my 82 year old mother was able to make it fine. There are lots of beach chairs at house if you want to take them along. We enjoyed the homes east end location. You are only about a five minute drive to lots of restaurants, bars and shops in Red Hook. We liked that the house feels secluded, but you can grab a quick lunch or run to the grocery store without lots of driving. Thanks Laurie and Denis!"Guest: T.
