"Our family of six just returned from a week at Sea Sound Villa. We had a great time and would love to visit this home again. The house is clean, comfortable and accurately shown in the posted photos. The owners are easy to reach and are very helpful. Outside, the views from the large wrap-around deck are fantastic! There are several lounge chairs around the pool, there is a large table that’s great for breakfast or evening cocktails and around the corner there is a big hammock for napping. Inside, there is a well equipped kitchen, a dining area, a large living room and two large bedrooms with attached bathrooms. My two teenage children slept on the large sectional sofa and were comfortable. Below the deck, there is a smaller “apartment” that is perfect for a couple. We spent several mornings on Pelican and Sapphire beaches below the house. You walk down a paved road with a short hike through the trees at the end to access the beach. The road is a bit steep in spots, but my 82 year old mother was able to make it fine. There are lots of beach chairs at house if you want to take them along. We enjoyed the homes east end location. You are only about a five minute drive to lots of restaurants, bars and shops in Red Hook. We liked that the house feels secluded, but you can grab a quick lunch or run to the grocery store without lots of driving. Thanks Laurie and Denis!"Guest: T. "We arrived in one of the heaviest rain storms in recent memory according to the locals. Arriving at Tom's condo after 33 hours of travel was like arriving in heaven. Everything about this unit is perfect. The location, the cleanliness, the beautiful new kitchen and the view from the balcony. Tom is a pleasure to deal with and very helpful with any information you seek. We rented a car but you really don't need one to get around the island. The safari taxis are numerous and very inexpensive. The bars down in Red Hook have great happy hour prices for food and drink. I think that Fish Tails was the best. Shop at Moe's Market for friendly employees and a clean well stocked market. We took the Pirates Penny excursion to the British Virgin Islands and I highly recommend it. Great knowledgeable and friendly crew. So if you stay at the Dominica 167 you will not be disappointed in anything. Thanks Tom. We will be back."Guest: Joe O Date of Stay: November 2014 Review Submitted: December 1, 2014View listing
"First it took us a while to find the place but once we did, all we can say is WOW, WOW, WOW. The place was well kept, all bedrooms and bathrooms are oversized and the kitchen is every woman's dream. There can't be no other spectacular place to eat your meal especially during breakfast overlooking this million dollar view. You can see all the boats passing by, you can hear the gentle crushing of the surf below and the view is worth a million dollar. This is truly a place where family and friends can relax and unwind from the hustle and bustle of your busy life....wherever you came from. Even though the driveway maybe steep backing down isn't that bad if you line up the wheels with the curb. My husband did this because he was into 8 was of right knee replacement and it was difficult for him to walk down the driveway. All in all it's a beautiful place and we will go back again. In addition, the pool is an added bonus. We had great memories, so much fun and laughter in this this "home away from home"."Guest: Anonymous Date of Stay: December 2014 Review Submitted: January 2, 2015View listing
"The condo location and position is wonderful. - the perfect combination of relaxing privacy and accessibility to beach activities, necessities, and restaurants. Condo is fully equipped with many amenities. We snorkeled with sea turtles and rays right off the condo beach! The pool was a bonus and large enough to swim laps. The restaurant food was very good and reasonably priced and next time we would pack a suitcase with nonperishable food items to cut on grocery store costs. Scott and Leah are very professional and provide intensive pre-trip advice with more info binders in the unit. We traveled with a 17 and 20 year old and they loved it too! Easy access to and from the airport. Many places to sight see, shop and snorkel on St. Thomas and the Ferry ride to St. John is a must with breathtaking sights and beaches, shopping, restaurants and activities as well - really a fantastic 2 for 1 vacation!"Guest: Nancy B.
