"We (2) of us stayed just recently rented unit 2b for a week. (2nd trip ive taken to USVI and have over weeks of experience there) The next time I go to STT, i fully intend to stay here again. All the units really are 25 ft. from the ocean, never needed A/C there's a great breeze coming right off the ocean. I HIGHLY recommend this unit for any couple (or maybe if you have a small child it would be great too). Advice for success: 1- Rent a compact car. Take the money you save by booking these units and get a car. There are plenty of restaurants, bars, groceries, and the ferry terminal all within a 5 minute drive to Red Hook. YOU NEED A CAR. Other great beaches like Coki beach and Magens bay are also easily accessed with the car. 2-Make a trip to the grocery store, but check the condo first We cooked several dinners and breakfasts at the condo. Everything you need is there to do it, pots, pans, spices, dishes, etc etc. There is also plenty of other necessities, like sun screen, bug spray, soaps, cooler, snorkel gear, and plenty more. 3- Its a condo, not a hotel. If you have ever rented condos on VRBO you would know that they are just like having a small home of your own for few days. I read a complaint on trip advisor about these units because, essentially, they didnt have daily turn-down service. There are extra sets of sheets, extra bath towels, extra beach towels, etc. There is also laundry on site. We washed all of our towels, sheets, AND clothes through out the week to keep them fresh and clean."Guest: Steve L. Date of Stay: January 2015 Review Submitted: January 27, 2015View listing
"Ideally located equidistant (in terms of time) between Charlotte Amalie and Red Hook. Apartment is well-furnished and clean with porch with good view. Access requires climbing up a steep drive. If you don't have a car the only transportation is by taxi; no dollar rides come to that vicinity. Staff at the resort across the road are very accommodating. Very quiet, very restful."Guest: nolars Date of Stay: January 2015 Review Submitted: January 20, 2015View listing
"I just recently returned from a week's stay at Treetops in St. Thomas. Everything was just perfect!! The house is beautiful, spectacular views, clean and has a real open, airy feel. In addition because it's at the end of the road and surrounded by trees it is so private!! You have complete privacy anywhere in the house or around the pool. Just what you would want for a vacation house. Cindie, the property manager is a wealth of knowledge and can give you directors or advice on anything you want or need from details about the house to good restaurants, good beaches or just how to get from point A to point B. The house was very welcoming, clean and fully stocked with everything from all of your kitchen supplies, to beach chairs and towels, coolers and even a washer & dryer to keep the beach towels clean. The beds were very comfortable and even though there is AC in both bedrooms, we never needed it. The house is located on a hill which gives it a continuous breeze cooling the house as well as breathtaking views of the Caribbean Islands from three sides!! The house is pretty centrally located and it didn't take us long to get anywhere we needed to go. Probably easier to have a small SUV or jeep for the road but that is true with many, many roads throughout the Island. With the fully stocked kitchen we had our choice of going out to eat or cooking at home and hanging by the pool. We took advantage one night and had a great BBQ by the pool. At night these adorable little frogs chirp you to sleep. I would highly recommend this property as a vacation spot for anyone who wanted to go to the Island. Cindie even put some preliminary groceries in the fridge for us to get us started (eggs, bread, juice etc.) which was helpful as it took us a few days before we wandered to find a grocery store. All in all I would send anyone I know to stay at this location/house. You won't be disappointed!! I can't wait to go back again and have already booked my next stay on the Island at Treetops with Cindie."Guest: Go to Treetops! "Carolyn was extremely accomadating...my party had a great time here! The villa is comfertable and clean. The property is a little out the way and the hills are insane. YOU MUST GET A FOUR WHEEL DRIVE VEHICLE! We traded in our Ford Focus after the first day for a Jeep, big difference, especially in the rain. I would definitely come back."Guest: Gerard1 Date of Stay: May 2014 Review Submitted: May 14, 2014View listing
