  • A Private Piece of Paradise

"Words cannot describe how wonderful our vacation was at this beautiful little condo at Sapphire Beach. The owners have gone above and beyond to welcome guests to their home by adding amazing personal details that make this unit seem like a home away from home. I was hesitant about staying at the resort itself since I had read reviews of other units which seemed less than perfect but I knew the moment we walked in here, that this was going to one amazing vacation. Everything in the unit is well maintained, clean and comfortable. The owners did an awesome job with decorating the unit and creating a spa like bathroom which was very unexpected. I normally have a problem sleeping when away due to uncomfortable beds but this was not the case at Sea Glass. The kitchen, although small, has everything you need to make your meals which was very convenient since we did not rent a car. Although catching a taxi to Red Hook or anywhere else on the island is fairly easy, we preferred having dinners on the spacious deck overlooking the bay. To us, this was the best seat in the house! One day we even hiked up the hill to "Off the Grid" food truck and brought back BBQ (the best I have ever had) for our evening meal. We loved reading through the owners' extensive travel books about the islands and know that we will be back to more exploring here. Every morning, I would wake up around 6 AM with out an alarm clock eager to have my coffee on the deck to watch the amazing sun rise over the islands. By 9, we were already on the beach parked under the row of shade trees that line the shore of Sapphire Beach. I was happy that the HOA has its own chairs and attendant since it made it easy to find an agreeable spot on the beach which gets really busy when the cruise ships come into St. Thomas. The snorkeling out front of the unit and at Sapphire Beach proper was amazing!!! Having the marina adjacent to the complex was also a huge plus for evening strolls to see the day's catch and booking a sailing tour of the islands. We loved our sail boat snorkeling tour of USVI with Horizon!!! Although we didn't do too much sightseeing with our limited stay, I was most happy to just spend my days on property swimming, snorkeling, and relaxing on one of the prettiest beaches. One of my favorite past times was feeding my new found friend, Iggy, a very large Iguana who loved the grapes and bananas I gave him each morning. A fantastic time!!!! Thanks Angela and Phil!!!"

  • Amazing Location, Condo, & Beach.

"My dad and I stayed here last minute for 4 nights. I could not have picked a better place to stay on the entire island, and I am not even kidding!!! The condo is part of Sapphire Beach & Resort. The beach has soft, white sand and there is great snorkeling. We went to Magen's Bay one day, which was amazing, but decided our beach is better to stay at because of the snorkeling. It is about a half hour from the airport, so you get away from all the cruise ships and traffic. Red Hook is a ten minute walk from the resort and the grocery store is about a 5 minute drive (we rented a car). Also, the restaurant at the top of the hill, Off the Grid, has delicious pulled pork that can be shared between two people. The owner is very helpful and responsive, which you will not find with all the condo owners from this beach resort. I would totally recommend this condo for a couple or small family. (If you are using the pull out couch, bring pillows and a blanket). You will have an amazing time!!"

  • Mary et al.

"Paradise Dream Villa was awesome and the perfect spot for a vacation. We spent 7 sun filled days there last week and everything was excellent. Brenda the caretaker took great care of us getting us to the villa and settling us in. Everything you could need is there and taken care of. The location on the East End is convenient to St Johns and many other locations on St Thomas. The villa has amazing views and is so comfortable, it is hard to leave to explore! A pleasure to return to each day. We definitely hope to return!"

  • Perfect Location! Wonderful Place to Stay!

"My husband and I, along with our college-aged daughter and niece, stayed at Connie's condo for 10 days. We were everywhere on the island during our vacation and each day, we commented how Cowpet Bay was the perfect location. The bay is beautiful, the 1 minute walk to the beach is easy (you do have to be able to go up and down quite a few stairs) and the 5 minute drive to Red Hook, with its nice variety of restaurants, bars, grocery stores (go to Moe's - they have everything you may need), and easy access to the St. John Ferry, was great. Also it is not a very far drive to 2 of STT most popular beaches, Sapphire and Magen's Bay. The condo is very clean, comfortable and well-appointed, and literally has everything you might need. We felt right at home the minute we walked in. Spent most of our time at the condo sitting on the large balcony enjoying the view of the bay and all the ships. The condo development does not have a pool but we truly did not miss having one at all - not with the beach a minute down the hill. Plenty of chairs on the beach, too - never a problem to get one. There are also 2 restaurants on the beach, as well as a small water sports concession (can rent snorkels, etc.). Highly recommend this condo and we would definitely stay here again!! Thanks Connie!"
