"THE COTTAGE WAS PERFECT. CLEAN AND JUST THE RIGHT SIZE. THE QUIETNESS OF WATER ISLAND LEAD TO MANY NIGHTS OF SUNSET DINNERS ON THE GIANT DECK, THAT HANGS OVER A COVE FILLED WITH SAILBOATS. IT'S THE FIRST HOUSE UP THE HILL FROM HONEYMOON BEACH WITH TWO BEACH GRILL/BARS LOCATED RIGHT ON THE BEACH. THE VIEW IS THE BEST FEATURE OF THE HOUSE. GET A GOLF CART TO GET AROUND AND REMEMBER KEEP LEFT. WE WILL BE BACK NEXT YEAR. VERY PLEASANT STAY FOR A WEEK OR TWO. ENJOY!!"

"If I could sum our stay on Water Island up in one word, it would be amazing. The accommodations at Windswept were wonderful. We never got tired of the views. What a great way to wake up in the morning! Having my morning coffee while looking out at St. Thomas and St. John in the distance, sure beats my normal routine of drinking my morning coffee while sitting in traffic. We had everything we needed, and more. I cook a lot, as I have dietary restrictions, and found the kitchen to be very well stocked. It was great to have such wonderful property managers, as well. Doug and Rachel were great and very quick to help us with anything that we needed while we were there. Karen was also extremely helpful before we went. I always have a million questions about everything, and she was excellent at thoroughly answering me in a very timely manner. My husband and I have traveled to many different places and have visited numerous Caribbean destinations. This was by far our favorite. We like to vacation somewhere one time only so that we can experience new places, but we are already planning another visit to Water Island. We have never visited somewhere before where we felt so welcomed and relaxed. The community on Water Island is wonderful and close knit. The activities on the beach during the day and at night were plenty of entertainment for us, (4 adults in their 30's). Dinghy's has beach games such as cornhole, and ladderball to play on the beach, which we definitely took advantage of. The Monday night movie at Heidi's was great, as well. Since I can't eat much, I didn't partake in eating at the beach, but the rest of my party ate quite a few meals at Dinghy's and Heidi's, and loved everything they had. All in all, we had a great trip, and a great stay in a beautiful condo. Many thanks to the owners for allowing others to share in the delight of being "Windswept"."

"Want to say what a great time we had at the Villa. We had 18 family members age 89 to 5 from all over the US. Each family had their own space, with the wonderful open kitchen/living area to gather. It was perfect to feed the grandkids breakfast at the bar/ island. Everyone enjoyed the pool right off the back deck, playing in the ocean at Honeymoon Beach, and exploring the island in the golf cart. We saw lots of turtles and rays snorkeling from the beach and near the ferry dock. The owners where receptive to all our requests, and helpful on any questions we had.
Dinghy’s was a great place to eat, we probably had half our meals there. The ferry is right down the hill, easy to see off the back veranda, so when someone was going to Charlotte Amelie, you knew when it was coming in.
The villa is spectacular, nicely furnished, great views, and well appointed. There was a large grill we cooked several meals on and a well equipped kitchen. My wife loved the huge table on the veranda that sat everyone for memorable all-family dinners. One of my daughters-in-law loved the work out room. The view from the veranda and Master bedroom suite is beautiful. You’d be hard pressed to find a more relaxing spot.
I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a larger gathering place to get a family together."

"My husband, son, and I were lucky enough to spend a week here over Christmas. The cottage is a great place for a small family -- the porch has two futons for kids, and the parents can sleep in the bed. With a large, screened-in wraparound porch you feel like you're sleeping in a jungle treehouse. My son had the time of his life on Water Island: turtles everywhere, riding in the provided golf cart (!), swimming at Honeymoon, eating at Heidi's. The cottage had a washer/dryer which was perfect for us light packers. Could not recommend this spot more for families with kids or honeymooners! We can't wait to go back."
