  • Highly recommended! Thanks Sean and Deb!

"We stayed for a brief four nights and loved it. Relaxing, peaceful, beautiful, incredible view, nearly constant breeze, clean, comfortable beds. Rent a golf cart and roam the island! Karl was a wonderful Captain and host. Sean was terrific getting us to and from ferry dock and generally being an excellent host. We thought about St. Thomas or St. John's but with Honeymoon Beach, Heidi's, and Dinghy's...we never left the island. Already plotting a longer return visit!"

  • Ideal Laid-Back Hideaway on Water Island

"This review is way overdue. Peg's Place was wonderful place to relax and Peg herself was a warm and gracious host to our group of three (myself, my daughter and a friend of hers). It was a short 5 minute cab ride from the airport in St. Thomas to the Crown Bay Marina, where you can enjoy a drink and some food at Tickles Dockside Pub while waiting for the small (max. 25 passengers) ferry to Water Island. The 10 minute ferry ride eases you into full relaxation mode. Peg and a few helpers met us at the Water Island dock and escorted us, in a couple of golf carts, up to the house where we left shoes and worries behind. The house is up on the ridge where it enjoys amazing ocean views and wonderful breezes while being only a few minutes' golf cart ride from Honeymoon Beach. Peg's Place was clean, comfortable and well-stocked, including with beach towels and coolers. We loved sitting out on the covered Lanai at breakfast gazing out at the ocean and various boats. Peg gave us lots of tips and recommended one of the great highlights of our trip - an afternoon sail (and snorkel) with Captain Nick Cancro on his beautiful 48' yacht named Marie Elena, which left right from Honeymoon Beach. We also utilized the grocery delivery service recommended by Peg, which worked out great. We could not have asked for a better trip. Thank you, Peg!!"

  • Relaxing Get-away

"Excellently maintained property with the use of a golf cart which makes getting around the small island a breeze. Internet was a must for the older kids as there is not a lot on the island for them to do, our kids (16, 14, 12) loved the laid back feel of the island and the lack of crowds, but it wouldn't suit all. Most of the time the beach is quiet with a great swimming area, but you can get a bit swamped when the day trippers from the St Thomas cruises arrive, but they don't stay for long. If you do want a little more to do then St Thomas is an easy ferry ride away, with extensive shopping etc. There are only two beach bars on the island but we found the food good, Heidi's did an excellent dinner on a Saturday night. No grocery shops so be prepared to make several ferry trips over to the main island for provisions. The owners were fantastic, answering all our questions prior to the visit very promptly and going above and beyond whilst we were there. Would definately recommend this property and it would be absolutely ideal for two couples with lots of space, great deck, very well equipped kitchen etc."

  • Honeymoon Beach Wedding Stay

"Villa Acquabella was amazing, and perfect for our needs. We rented the whole property and were able to sleep 16 adults and 4 children with room to spare. Had we need to sleep more, we could have used couches. The property was gorgeous, the pictures really don't even do it justice. The golf carts were fun to drive around the island to snorkel at various beaches and visit the fort. Honeymoon beach was very close, and for non-beach bar meals we shopped at the Pueblo supermarket close to the ferry landing. The property had all the cooking stuff we could ever want. Really a great family vacation for less than hotels!!"
