  • Fantastic!

"This apartment was perfect, as was Maria! The apartment is much nicer in person than in the pictures. It was very clean and the beds were quite comfortable. The linens smelled delightful and reminded me of home. The apt. is in a quiet location but only a few steps to the beach. No need to rent a car. The market is with in walking distance (maybe one mile) so is Oistin's Fish Fry which is a must on Friday nights. Maria was more than kind. She is always bright and cheery & ready to help. She assisted with a catamaran tour and rental car (at an unbeatable price) because we decided to take a driving tour of the island. Be sure to dine at Cafe Sol, esp. on Wednesday. It's 2 for 1 margaritas! I would also recommend a day (or 2) at Miami Beach. The food stands there have some of the best fish cakes and roti. We cannot wait to return to Barbados!!!!"

  • Paradise within Paradise

"My wife and I stayed at Vista Does Mares for 10 days, and every single one of them was spectacular. Isla de Vieques is an incredibly beautiful place, from the bioluminescence of Mosquito Bay, to the volcanic sands of Playa Negra—and even so, we occasionally had a hard time tearing ourselves away from the comforts of the house. Likewise, the food on Vieques is varied and excellent, but more than a few nights we stayed in and grilled and blended up cocktails with fresh fruits and good, cheap Caribbean rum. Vista Does Mares sits on one of the highest points on Vieques, and you really can see both seas, both sides of the island, from inside the house and from the wrap-around veranda. The pool is something to behold, offering privacy while also opening onto a view of the lush hills that roll down to the beach. And there's air conditioning, but we never turned it on once, so effective (not to mention soothing) were the breezes blowing through. Adrienn greeted us at the airport, and she and Jared made our stay that much lovelier. They take great care of the house, they're great people all around, and they know the island like the back of their hands (and not incidentally, pretty much everybody on the island knows and loves them, too). In short, we really cannot recommend Vista Does Mares highly enough if you're planning a trip to Vieques. It was an absolute joy, and we'll undoubtedly be back!"

  • great setting above Cruz Bay

"Great location and setting. Easy access to town: 10-15 minute walk to center of Cruz Bay. Off-street parking a big plus. Fantastic view of the Cruz Bay harbor. We occupied the condo during Presidents' Week. The unit was comfortable and clean. It is well furnished, and it has a very good kitchen and covered patio that is perfect for dining. Building's pool and deck are just right for a dip or cocktail chats with pleasant neighbors--BBQ is 25 feet away from pool. Free use of washer and drier a plus. We called the property manager about a small problem with a fan, which was fixed within 2 hours. The condo's owners were very responsive to our request for use of the condo, including early arrival time. Highly recommended."

  • Favorite home rental ever

"I was hesitant to rent this house since there were no recent reviews but wow-what a treat! The views are stunning from all 3 porches. The seclusion and privacy of the pool and hot tub were so romantic. The hike to the beach was beautiful and we were often the only ones out there. The outside spaces of the property make this house so special. We stayed in the upstairs bedroom for the best view out to the ocean. This home is well suited for up to 6 people. It was also stocked with games, novels, bird books, binoculars, ice chest, beach chairs and towels, plenty of kitchen gadgets and dishes, nice bath towels, washer and dryer, pool floats. It was not a bad drive (about 15 minutes) into Cruz Bay and there was also quick access to 104 to get to the other side of the island. There is an iguana that lives near the pool but we never did see him. The sounds of the ocean and birds were so relaxing to listen to at night. We were fortunate to be there at full moon and the reflections on the water at night were beautiful. The pool got full sun most of the day so was a nice temperature for swimming into the evening. We enjoyed having a separate table on the lower level in the shade for when the sun was out. The driveway was a little difficult to pull out of so definitely recommend a 4WD jeep. My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary here but I hope to come back and bring my college age kids soon. I wouldn't recommend this property for someone who has difficulty walking due to the number of stairs. Other than that, absolutely loved this place! Even with a few houses to the right, with plenty of vegetation I still felt like it was a very private home."

Yacht Charters & Boat Rentals, Caribbean Travel Tips

Travel on Beautiful Caribbean Vacation Rental Yachts

With so many amazing islands to choose from in the Caribbean, many travelers find choosing just one location difficult. So why choose just one? Why not pick Caribbean vacation rental yachts and hop from island to island, indulging in the best of everything? With its tropical climate, the whole Caribbean is a wonderful area and it is a shame to be locked in just one place.

Among the many islands that make up the Caribbean are the Virgin Islands, Anguilla, Montserrat, Guadeloupe, Grenada, Dominica, Martinique, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, and Barbados. Each has a unique atmosphere and its own treasures to explore.

Explore as Many Islands as you Choose With Caribbean Yacht Charters

From the mainly uninhabited Virgin Islands to the nightlife and excitement of Jamaica, Caribbean yacht charters are the ideal way to sample all the sights and flavor of the Caribbean. Cruising through the clear waters as you hop from island to island, taking time to explore the variety of secluded beaches, taking advantage of the duty-free shopping at each of your stops, visiting rainforests, diving in the many coves and enjoying the nightlife are all possible. You can do this from the peace and tranquillity of our own private yacht, perhaps with your own crew to ensure that your every whim is catered for.

Choose the islands that most appeal to you for a variety of attractions and activities. Visitors may enjoy a day exploring Anguilla on horseback, or a round of golf on Martinique. You could also visit Jamaica’s wonderful waterfalls and rainforests. Sail to the Cayman Islands for a look around the Cayman Turtle Farm and Stingray City where children and adults can pet and feed the stingrays. Spend an afternoon parasailing, followed by an evening sampling the nightlife of Aruba before heading back to your own private yacht. Choose from a huge variety of wonderful golf courses scattered throughout the Caribbean. Travel to the little known but spectacularly beautiful island of Bonaire for some of the world’s best diving and visit its incredible flamingo population. In fact, there are more flamingos here than there are people!

Hop from Island to Island to Find the Best Bargains

From Caribbean yacht charters, with the whole region as your shopping center, it is easy to seek out the best bargains. Visitors will find the best bargains will include watches, jewelry, liquor and perfumes. Many find the Virgin Island the best for shopping, with many small shops around the waterfront and the alleyways leading from the main port area.
