  • Beautiful Villa

"To the person that wrote all lies. You must be blind. This was the best vacation, my family has ever had. Everything worked and was just Beautiful! My family and I plan to make this our annual trip to relax and enjoy the island. The villa was peaceful and serene. Very elegant, for a Island Villa! We loved it all. Thank you, so much Land and Jennifer. We look forward to many more years at the Villa. I highly recommend this rental!"

  • AWESOME!!!

"The house was really nice and so comfortable. It is in a secure quiet neighbourhood & the ocean only being a few steps away. It is so private & has everything you would need to just move in & be ready to just relax & start to enjoy your holiday. I also really enjoyed the yard, with the pool & bar & 2 outdoor tables, one which is covered in case you got too much sun!!! I also enjoyed the nice big barbeque & sitting outside on the patio to enjoy our meals. I would also like to mention the patio furniture. It's so comfortable & sturdy which is awesome as we spent a lot of time poolside & it's great to have comfy chairs. Another HUGE asset for me was the remote control air conditioning in each room, which allowed you to be cool & sleep well every night. I truly found this to be one of the best vacations I have ever had & I would go back & stay there in a heartbeat. The local people were super friendly & really kind. The ocean is so clean & warm & the sand is like silk. I just loved it. I DIDN'T WANT TO COME HOME!!!"

  • View the Blue - Great quick get away

"We rented the house from 08/17-22 for a quick getaway. Just like previous reviewers, we really enjoyed it being our first time to Belize. We were a little worried about the weather but it turned out great. Here's the pros and cons about the house: Pros: roomy, good enough for 12 people. great ocean front view, private, reasonable price. You gotta go with the Suya tour. Carlos and his crew provides a very personal service and willing to work with you to make you happy. Victor, Ana's property assistant is very professional and courteous. George, the taxi driver is very helpful too. Cons: downstair cooktop and refrigerator is not working (Victor, Ana's assistant said he'll fix it the next day but never did) but not a big deal since we can use the upstairs one. The outdoor floodlight did not work but we manage to fix it ourselves. Pool light didn't work. We told the care taker the next day but he doesn't seem to speak english. The pool has several nice coconut trees to provide shade and add a nice touch to the pool. However, it also blocks the oceanfront view. Therefore you can't enjoy the sunrise or sunset from the second floor balcony. There are a lot of mosquitoes even though we brought repellent. It would be nice if caretaker can spray them (we saw the foggy smoke repellent tool in the utility room). It would be nice if we can use the two old bikes in the utility room. There's no hammocks as stated in the description. It would be wonderful if the local phone call is included. Here's what we would recommend for first time renters: - First day, get a golf cart to explore the town. - 2nd day: go on fishing/snorkeling with Suya tour (we caught quite a bit of fishes and lobsters for dinner) - The cave tubing/zip line is so so. The cave tubing is a little disappointed since we didn't get to do anything. The tour guy just pulled us through the whole time. The kids enjoy the zipline more. - Fishing trip if you love fishing. Carlos will take you to his secret fishing places :) Despite a few little things about the place, we did have a wonderful time. We definitely come back here again and recommend it to everyone."

  • Cat Island Kiki House

"We rented this beautiful place in April – It is perfect. Clean as can be and everything works. There is a fantastic reef right in front of the house with amazing snorkeling. Cat Island is very quiet and the people are great. The house is located right on the beach and we didn’t see anyone on the beach all week. We ate fresh seafood every night. The local fish shacks are the way to go for dinner, and the grocery store down the road will have everything else you need. We will definitely be booking again. The communication and info we got from the owner was tops – We love this place."

Caribbean Travel Tips

Activities and Attractions at Caribbean Vacation Rentals

The Caribbean Sea holds a treasure of tropical islands that make for the ideal type of vacation destination. You can choose from glamorous resort complexes with entertainment, casinos and luxury hotels, or you can find a quiet cabin on a remote island and pass the days lazing about in a hammock. There are islands that are ideal for birdwatching, whale watching or swimming with dolphins. There are also several islands that have protected marine reserves where turtles come ashore to nest. No matter what your interests are, they all have persistent sunny and warm weather all year-round, beautiful sandy beaches, warm turquoise waters and beautiful coral underwater reefs.

If you want to do nothing more than catch some rays on a beautiful beach, you may have a hard time deciding which island destination to visit. The Caribbean is also rated as one of the world's best scuba diving destinations. The warm tropical water provides the ideal habitat for colorful hard and soft corals to form. In addition to the natural reefs, ancient shipwrecks have become the sites for many artificial reefs. Water sports are also right up there on the list of top activities. Choose from sailing on a luxury yacht, exploring the coastline in a sea kayak, going on a snorkeling excursion or playing in the waves on a Jet Ski. There is also excellent deep sea fishing and many charters available in the various island marinas.

On the islands, you will find a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Many of the islands have a history relating to the slave trade and sugar plantations. There are many historical sites and museums that are interesting to visit. Shopping is another favorite visitor pastime. Some islands have streets filled with luxury boutiques offering the very latest in fashion, appliances and accessories. Other less developed islands have more quaint shops and street markets where you can buy crafts.

Stylish Caribbean Villas

In the Caribbean, you can find an island destination that fits both your interests and budget. If you prefer a rustic-style vacation, there are many cozy cottages tucked away in seaside villas. If you want to be where the glitz and glamour is, then you can seek out some of the top Caribbean resorts. Some islands have private villas that are large enough to accommodate wedding parties or host family reunions.

Visitors to Caribbean Resort Rentals

The Caribbean is favorite honeymoon and wedding destination for visitors from North America. It is the closest tropical paradise and there are often very good honeymoon deals to be found. The islands attract people who enjoy the beach, long hours of sunshine, water sports and nature. Land adventures on some of the more remote islands attract the more adventurous type of travelers. The Caribbean is a top diving destination and people travel from all over the world to dive the islands' coral reefs. There are many resorts that cater specifically for families by providing kids' clubs and entertainment for children of all ages. This allows parents to have a bit of a break from family responsibilities and reconnect with one another as a couple while the kids play with newfound friends.

Seasons to Travel to the Caribbean

The Caribbean straddles the equator and most islands therefore have a typically tropical climate. This results in warm year-round weather with high levels of humidity. Many of the islands are prone to tropical storms which take place in the late summer months between June and October. The peak travel season for most Caribbean vacation destinations is between December and January when the weather is more temperate.
