  • Spectacular!

"We have stayed in many Villas all over Costa Rica and all I can say is, we were very impressed with Villa Catalina. The Villa itself, it's location, the views and the beach club all make this an amazing place for your next visit. Don't think twice this is worth every penny, we will definitely be returning soon."

  • Perfect Hideaway

"Thank you George & Susan for allowing us to stay in your home. We had a wonderful holiday. Your home was perfect for us (2 adults, 2 teenagers); the house had everything we needed and the pool and boogie boards/soft top surf board were lovely added touches. The house and yard were very well maintained and it was much appreciated. Alyssa was an unobtrusive yet very helpful property manager. We would love to come back some day! Playa Grande and Palm Beach Estates are the perfect location for surf lovers who also like a bit of peace and quiet away from the crowds."

  • Retirement is an Option

"My wife and I decided to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary in Costa Rica and we were not disappointed. The Condo overlooks the bay and from sunrise to sunset it is a picturesque sight. The temperatures hit 40 degrees while we were there, but the air conditioners kept the condo a cool place to escape the heat when necessary. The closeness of restaurants to the condo was a plus but I advise visitors to rent a vehicle if you want to see sights...but if your looking for downtime with sun and peace/quiet you can't find anywhere better. We will be going back soon...it was that much fun!!!"

  • Excellent trip to Playa Flamingo

"Casa de Serenidad was recommended to my husband and I by a friend of ours. Babe, the owner, was incredibly helpful and made excellent recommendations leading up to our trip. When we arrived, we were not disappointed. The property was beautiful and well-kept and the Villa was very comfortable. The views are even better than the pictures! Babe was just as helpful after we arrived as she was when we were preparing our trip, and her staff was equally helpful and friendly. They were prepared with things that guests use like beach chairs, bodyboards and beach towels. There is a lot to see within driving range and we visited a ton of places, but loved Playa Flamingo the most. The beach was fantastic and everyone in the small town was very friendly. We would recommend taking a trip to Llanos de Cortes Waterfall (about 2 hours away), having a meal at Coco Loco on the beach, and we would definitely recommend Casa de Serenidad."

Guanacaste Travel Tips

Guanacaste Beach Rentals Give You the Real Costa Rica

If you are looking for long summer days on beautiful coastlines, Guanacaste beach rentals are for you. Vacations in Costa Rica can be filled with activities, sun, and sand. Enjoy the stunning shoreline, top-notch surfing, snorkeling, and so much more when you stay at Guanacaste resorts. The province is the perfect vacation destination for the whole family or the ideal spot for a romantic honeymoon.

Breathtaking Vistas within the Guanacaste Resorts Regions

All along the eastern borders of the province you will find a chain of volcanoes, many of which are visible from some Guanacaste beach rentals. The volcanoes meet the Cordillera de Tilaran and Cordillera de Guanacaste mountain ranges and offer plenty of hiking, mountain biking, and other high elevation activities. The views in this region are particularly breathtaking, especially when you reach Rincon de la Vieja Volcano Area with its lush forests filled with exotic plants and animals. No one ever said vacations in Costa Rica would not be gorgeous!

Vacations in Costa Rica Offer a Little Culture

As you plan your stay in Guanacaste resorts, you might appreciate learning a little bit about the local culture. The region is rich in culture and even takes its name from the word “quahnacaztlan” which is actually the word for the Guanacaste tree in the native language. This tree also happens to be the national tree of the country. Vacations here, especially those at Guanacaste beach rentals, will allow you the opportunity to see what the real Costa Rica is all about.

The Best Way to Reach Your Guanacaste Beach Rentals

Because it is a foreign country, vacations in Costa Rica do take some planning. The easiest way to reach Guanacaste resorts is to fly into Liberia and land at the Daniel Oduber International Airport. From the airport, you may either rent a car or take a bus through Guanacaste up the Pan-American Highway which is quite scenic. You will even catch a glimpse of the volcanoes on your way.
