  • Amazing Villa!!

"We just returned to MN after spending 7 nights at the Flying V Villa. The villa was beautiful! After a full day of travel, customs and dealing with renting a car, we were welcomed to the villa with a care package. We really appreciated all of the information on local restaurants, shopping, activities, etc that Verda had emailed to us and was also waiting for us at the villa. We snorkeled almost every day - what a treat! Fishing with Raffeal, George and Freddy was great too - we caught several black fin tuna and a couple of Rooster Fish (50+ lbs each). The Adventure Tour is a must. There was everything we needed in the villa to cook many of our meals. However, we also enjoyed dinner and snacks at the Picante. I can honestly say that I had tears in my eyes when leaving the villa and saying goodbye to Ceasar and Jackie. If we ever make it back to Costa Rica - this is where we will stay!"

  • Excellent Villa

"Our family of four stayed in the Hermosa Heights Villa for a week trip to Costa Rica. Located just 25 minutes from the airport, it is very convenient. Playa Hermosa is just down the road and you can walk if you like. Playa del Coco is just a short 8 minute car ride or $10 cab ride and it has has tons of restaurants, bars, shops, and a large beach. Playa Potrero and Flamingo is just 1.15 hours and Tamarindo is about 1.75 hours by car. The villa is large with a great deck and view of the ocean. All amenities and A/C is included! Recommend renting a car if you want to see the coast - very easy from airport. Would stay there again. Owner is very nice and responsive and the property management team were excellent and prompt."

  • Deluxe beyond deluxe

"This a star 6 out of 5 accommodation! First we did not like the accommodations we were in Playa Camaronal so went on VRBO hoping to find something for the same night. Usually you can't get same night accommodations but we were so blessed Jerry got back to us in 10 minutes not the 12 hours suggested. We confirmed a 3 day stay (also unexpected because weekly rates are preferred). Jerry gave us clear and easy to follow directions to access the road to the location. While it may seem intimidating it was anything but. We easily navigated the low level water to cross the river to get to the other side. When we saw the accommodations we were blown away. Outstanding view, serenity, privacy, surrounded by jungle but just a hop skip and jump into the lap pool. We had friends join us unexpectedly and they have a place in Costa Rica but also agreed this was the most amazing place that had seen. The fridge is top notch. Water quality perfect. Shower outstanding. Cooking facilities ideal. We asked Yorleny and Santos where to get fresh chicken and fish and she had local vendors come by so we could select what we needed. We baked a free range chicken and BBQ fresh fish. There are few places where you can do that! We love to select our own food and cook it the way we like!! So this place is ideal. The second night we were there we were entertained at dinner time for over an hour by a 7 member family of Howler Monkeys. As we sat on the deck this family climbed and ate and chattered and we sat there in awe less than 20 feet away. The next morning we were awakened to The sound of Howler monkeys having fun in the jungle. That experience itself was priceless!!! Swimming in the lap pool. No one around. Laying in the hammocks in the thatched hut, no one within miles. Rising with the sun and revelling in the spectacular ocean view with the sun rising. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity. After 3 days we could not imagine going anywhere else and booked a further 3 days. We explored the area taking advantage of a turtle release at a refuge venture nearby and and at the same time had a chance to climb a Swiss family Robinson tree fort and then free fall rappel a 200 foot drop. Highly recommend this tour. Overall my husband and I would recommend this for every person coming to Costa Rica. We would return in a heartbeat and not go anywhere else."

  • Enjoying Pura Vida

"We spent a wonderful three weeks at Casa de Valencia sharing our time with family and friends who came and went during the time we were there. For the first time in our many travels, though never to Costa Rica, we did not rent a car. Given the location of the villa and all of the activities and transportation options available, we did not miss having one. Getting to and from the airport in Liberia was very easy and can be arranged through the rental office or a van or taxi can be easily arranged from the airport. The villa itself was very comfortable and the outdoor patio, dining and pool area wonderful. We spent most of our time outdoors and loved the visits from birds, iguanas and monkeys. The staff at Casablanca was friendly and helpful and provided any assistance we needed. We did most of our own cooking and enjoyed the outdoor grill, fully equipped kitchen and proximity to the local grocery store and fresh fish market. Kenny provided a handy wheeled shopping cart which made life very easy! We enjoyed the beach, ocean, pool and various tours of the area. Most of all, we loved being able to hang out on our wonderful and secluded patio reading, and reveling in the Pura Vida life. We enjoyed it so much that we're hoping to spend a month next year at wonderful Casa de Valencia."
