"We just spent 2 weeks at this fabulous property and I would happily give it 10 stars if I could!
Inside, there's everything you need to complete your stay from a fully stocked kitchen to loads of pillows, sheets, towels and all the comforts of home. It's beautifully decorated and squeaky clean. Gorgeous! The photos truly don't do it justice!
Outside, the photos tell you everything you need to know! Immaculately landscaped, large pool and spa, plenty of seats, and a great tiki hut with large BBQ for cooking. There's 2 hammocks in the palm trees just outside the fence, and an endless beach where you will only see one or two people each day. Picture perfect sunsets are a bonus!
As others have mentioned, do rent a 4x4. The roads around the property and about 30-45min in each direction are challenging gravel roads, but totally worth the drive.
About 10min away is the little town of Playa de Coyote, where you'll find 2 grocery stores with everything you might need, though stopping in Nicoya on the way to the property will save you some money.
We went to the Pizza Tree about 10min away in Playa San Miguel and that was a real treat. Worth a try!
We saw iguanas, gorgeous birds, and even a couple howler monkeys while there.
Joe is so responsive and helpful. He was quick to answer all emails and provide us with any information we needed both before and during our stay. Of all the places we've rented, Joe was by far the most helpful and gracious host!
Pilo, the innkeeper, was also very helpful. He doesn't speak much English (and we spoke no Spanish!) but we found that using a phone app that does translations was a very effective way to communicate! He seemed to enjoy that!
Thank you Joe for making this wonderful property available. We're already planning our next trip!"

A very special time, to remember and come back over and over again!
"Our flight from the States started early in the morning with many stops and arrived in Liberia late afternoon, but George´s directions were good and we arrived without problems. My husband and I arrived at night. We could not see much beyond the beautiful second floor terrace. We settled in the house. It was beautifully decorated and very neatly kept. We went for a swim in the welcoming water of the fish-shaped infinity pool and called it a night. When we woke up in the morning we could not believe our eyes! The house is high on a hill and the view is breathtaking! We spend lots of time enjoying the house with the beautiful surroundings just for us. Although there is another house up the hill, it has a very private setting. It is well equipped and there is nothing lacking for a fantastic vacation. The beach is a couple of minutes from the house and the small town of San Francisco de Coyote is delightful. The people are warm, helpful and friendly. It is definitely a place to get in contact with the culture and make friends. We went to three of the restaurants in town, they are reasonably priced and sooooooo good. Soda Familiar is a great place to enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner. They open at 6. Across the street is Rios, a delicious bakery, a great place to buy pastries for your afternoon "merienda" or breakfast by the pool. They also have ice-cream, and a full restaurant menu, also delicious. You have to visit Rios also to see the artful construction and furniture made from slabs of trees from the region. Beautiful! Loma Clara is also a great place and Rafael the owner is very helpful. There are other restaurants, but we fell in love with the people in those three and spent a lot of time enjoying the beach and the house. If you are up for adventure, about 2 hours north west is the city of Sámara where you can go kayaking, snorkeling, zip-lining, etc. We went kayaking and snorkeling to Chora island not too far from the coast. It was a memorable experience! We saw turtles jumping out of the water, colorful tropical fish and coral, just beautiful! And then back to the comfort and privacy of Sublime Obsession to enjoy the vegetation, the sunsets, the sounds that we will never forget. We´d love to come back!"

"We absolutely loved to stay in the Casa Verde. It`s beautiful, tasteful, comfortable, lightflooded, in the midst of green, perfect in any respect. We spent many hours just sitting on the spacious terrace admiring the spectacular views, that peacefully change over the day from sunrise until colorful sundown. We explored all the beaches, those with calm water and those with breakers, some really endless and lonely. There are a few nice places to eat out. We went for a trip to the south of the Nicoya Peninsula, the tropical landscape is amazing, and it`s an exiting and unique exprience to drive through rivers and on the beach at Manzanilla.
We would really love to spend another vacation at the Casa Verde, but then more than just five days!
Thank you Carla that we had the chance to know this amazing and wonderful place. Costa Rica is a wonderful country."

"We visited Punta Dakota in January of 2015 with friends (there were 9 of us total). The property was beautiful and the weather was amazing! Online pictures of this property do not do it justice! The villa had all of the amenities that we could have possibly needed and the pool/bar area was breathtaking. It was so nice not to have to fight for a chair by the pool like you would have to at a hotel/resort! The staff at Punta Dakota would get a 5+ star rating if it would let me. We did hire Wilberth while we were there and he should really be charging more! He was amazing!! He did everything; he was our personal chef (the food was mouth watering), our bartender (made from scratch pina coladas to die for), and our local tour guide (we did an offsite excursion almost everyday that we were there). He knows everyone around the area of San Francisco and beyond so everyone was always very friendly. Great experience! We will definitely be repeat visitors of Punta Dakota!!"
